Horrible frhit booster drink waste of 5 pounds

Customer service is non-existent

Lovely place. Great team and amazing service.

Super fast service from all 3 Caffé Nero branches along the Croydon strip. Strong quality coffee. Way better than Pret and Starbucks in my opinion.

Where to start, the staff not friendly and seems untrained in the art and about coffee. I waited for quite a while to be sevrved with nobody in front of me thats the first bad start. When did come to the till to serve it was very hostile attitude. Then lets add insult to injury I asked for a 'Iced Americano Coffee' but I got a hot Americano Coffee. Not only that but asking if with milk...what Americano has milk? If you add milk it nolonger is a Americano coffee. When I pointed this out she got very defensive and proceeded to reorder a Iced Americano Coffee, come on I wasn't going to pay twice for their mistake so just took the unordered hot coffee as I really didn't want to deal with her or this store anymore or again. FYI the quality of the coffee was quite poor making me think should have gone to Starbucks across the road. Next time will read the reviews before entering a coffee shop of any sort.

Great coffee. Lovely space. Busy most of the time. So it's worth ordering quickly, if you can. I like that they offer water.

Just Been on the shop . Barista told me they do not accept cash ! How thay cane due not accept legal payment methods in their stores. !???

A brunette girl with big eyes used to work there as an assistant manager, I’ve known her for the past year. She was amazing! The teams customer service and behind the bar is horrible after she left, she used to take good care of her colleagues and customers also cleaned very well. It’s highly advised by some of us regular customers that we want to see her behind that bar serving us again, she just mentioned transfer and disappeared unfortunately.

This Caffe does not even deserve single star worst staffs and worst experience .they made a mistake and they won't accept it and instead they blamed me back very bad staffs ..

Can’t believe paid £3.90 for that rubbish. Worst flat white ever tried. Even costa is better than that… 👎👎👎

I stopped at Nero caffe with my boyfriend where the baristas Carlos and Jacob were really professional and friendly staff. The shop was clean and all shelves well organised and stoked. I worked in the business for many years and I will give them a 💯 audit. Well done for the company for have this two serving quality to the public.👌☺️

Extremely rude staff. Very very bad service. Staff Didn’t wanted to say their names. I Asked the girl named (Tija) what is guy name who were rude to us. She said go and ask him. I then asked the guy his name three times and every time he said I’ll be with u in a second. Later he said his name is (Ian) He also said, are u going to lodge complaint? We ordered two late (eat in) they prepared the coffees and put on their top near cash counter. We were also standing there waiting but didn’t know it’s ours. After waiting for ten minutes we asked them is it ours and ian said yes. They should at least inform customers about their order otherwise how would anyone will know it’s Theirs or for another customer. We then took coffees and found they were so cold. We asked ian to plz warm it up. Ian was extremely rude and said it’s our fault coz coffee was there and we were not present there. Completely lie. They did not warmed it t replace our coffee and we had drink it cold. Tija was also very rude and did not tell us her and her colleagues name. They knew they were not serving customers to the standards that’s why the were so reluctant to even mention their name. They didn’t even had their name badges. I will write this review on trust pilot and will write to the Cafe Nero’s head office Do not go there please

Was in Croydon for my daughters Sari fitting with my wife and cafe nero is the best place for coffee so had lovely americano and sausage rolls .

The staff is very rude specially on Sunday between 10am and 11 am (20 November) I hope the area manger do something about it because it’s not nice specially the girl who was on that’s day Many thanks

Awful Mocha - tasted like hot water Grumpy staff too Oh & as usual it wasn’t ready as the click & collect ticket was sitting on the machine

Dropped in here as bit early for son and grandson to get train home to Hastings after staying over Friday night. My wife is in a wheelchair and this place has disabled access. Manager Ian and barista Aga were very understanding and allowed me to park wheelchair inside.No fuss .Friendly but professional. Lovely cup of coffee and nice tea for my wife. Son and grandson had water.Thank you.

I always head over to Nero's to wind down for the day and to get a bit of studying done. It usually tends to be quite empty in the afternoons, but sometimes it can be extremely busy too. It's a bit unpredictable to be honest. Their cakes aren't the best but their savoury items are pretty good. I'd recommend their sausage roll and chicken lattice.

Whoever served me had the attitude of a cardboard box and seemed put out when I asked for a drink even though the shop was quiet. Better or adequate service for such prices please.

A white man with an American accent spoke to me like he was back in slavery. Plus, when his college asked him to help me connect to the WiFi. He literally ignored him. He needs to be reminded that he has a job because of his customers. The 2 stars are because the rest of the staff were kool, but I left with a bad taste in my mouth 👎😒

Sorry I don’t like to go where I never satisfied with cleaning. The main window glass was so filthy that even i didn’t bother to open the door n left to Costa for a cup of coffee. Even inside was so dark. In this covid time, we have to do some extra effort if we wanna survive.

We visited on 23rd December 2021 at 4.40ish. The opening times on the door stated that the cafe would close at 6pm. There were 2 members of staff behind the counter who were cleaning up. The chap in front of us asked to be served and was told that they were closing at 5 and would only serve takeaway coffees. We were really disappointed with their attitude and the customer service.

Cute coffee shop. Ordered a Too Good to Go box and for £3 I definitely got more than my money’s worth. It had 3 sandwiches, 3 granola and yogurt with 2 pastries . Combatting food waste while getting quality food is awesome.

Best take away coffe shop at station corner . Nice and clean store , fast - friendly service . Definitely come back 😉

Good service and friendly staff.

A guy was extremely rude (4.30pm, Monday 5 July) with my aunt just because she does not speak English, even if she made herself more than comprehensible with what she needed and showed him a prepaid order just to pick up. I used to come to this store every morning before work, I won't be coming again. If you want to be rude and mean on duty, find a job away from human beings.

Nice little coffee shop, only a small amount of seating available. This coffee shop is convenient if you are traveling by train/tram from East Croydon. The service is quick and the staff are friendly. The coffee is good you can also buy soft drinks and snacks inside.

The coffee was terrible i asked to change it and The staff just gave me Attitude and faces! Both girls were very rude!

Had a quick breakfast here. So far, I liked the coffee and the sandwich I ordered.

The two last time I went there I ordered a Chai latte with coconut milk, which I repeated twice, they ended up giving me one with dairy milk. It's like they don't listen nor understand. Never going back there.

I ordered double machiato, first cup was cold. made it again, told them I only wanted foam and no milk. Barista started arguing saying his manager told him to put milk and foam. Told him I only wanted foam no milk. Very rude, wont be going there again

Coffee was good enough but the almond croissant was putrid, definitely not hazelnut some kind of weird sugar paste, it was more reminiscent of children's cough syrup than any kind of nut.

I gave 4 rating mainly because I feel 2.85 for flat white is high.

I went there to get a Mocha frappé and what I had instead was a warm mocha with cream on the top and no ice. The barista asked if I wanted any flavour in it too but as a Mocha frappé frequent drinker, this question has never been asked. It was very disappointed as I came with my colleague who wanted to try this Mocha frappé which I have been talking about. She wanted to try today and unfortunately, she didn't get her iced drink. I have attached the picture for you to see that it looks very dark and a mocha frappé is usually beige with ice in it.

Convenient location, close to East Croydon station. Service was good although the air conditioning was in 'Arctic Mode' today...

I usually don't like chains like this but they play classical music in this branch and love them for this. .

Small cafe Nero with stools for sitting. Great to get a quick coffee and snacks on the go, or to meet friends for a quick catch up. This Nero only serves the coffee out of paper cups bit of a shame since they do offer seating.

Lovely coffee and even better when it’s free with O2 rewards! Just want you need to warm up on a cold morning.

Over priced and better off going next door

Reasonable coffee but too hot and only served in disposable cups? Breakfast pots only half full and expensive croissant. Again all served in paper bags/pots - no need to add to the waste we throw away everyday! Atmosphere wise it's more of a kiosk that happens to be inside than a real cafe.

Excellent service, coffee and snacks

You don’t get the same vibe as any other Cafe Nero when you walk in here. This is a very unfriendly, super dirty, not looked after cafe. Usual cafe with standard coffees and light sandwiches and snacks. There are couple of high tables with bar-style chairs if you wish to stay indoors and eat/coffee(I couldn’t manage to sit inside ever!). Didn’t mean to criticise this Cafe store but every time I go to pickup a coffee (East Croydon is my base station), there’s no change to the cleanliness or unfriendly nature of the baristas. Why can’t they get that customers pay premiums for their coffee (£2.75 for a flat white- btw, there’s no sleeve for a flat white sized cup, if you ask you’ll be given extra cup to double up! Wow Nero!) so a bit of smiley faces and regular tidying up goes a long way?!

Slow and inattentive barista men. He doesn't know good manners. Heedless.

I often use Caffe Nero branches - this one is ok - it can be a bit obscured by the Tram Station
