CASH ONLY!!! Food is ok. For the price, you can’t really complain. Yes, I would definitely go back. If you’re hungry and want a quick fix for cheap then this is your place. Try it, you might just enjoy it.

Cheap and a quick buffet to fill them stomach's. Food is always being brought out constantly. Prawns run out quickly and this is the only thing that take time to come out. Chicken wings are the best. Not the nest atmosphere but you can't go wrong for the price

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Staff aren’t welcoming at all, absolutely stank of BO. Hygiene standards are very low & the restaurant is very run down. People coming in & out the whole time filling up take away boxes from the buffet. Food is not great at all & since coming home my belly is churning. I don’t know what I expected from a £9 Chinese buffet in Thornton heath but I didn’t know restaurants could be this bad. The place is not run by Chinese, nor are the chefs Chinese. The good reviews from this place are very obviously fake.

Great food, great price really friendly staff

I would never usually make a review like this but the food is delicious and service is great the only problem the location a homeless man threw rice everywhere and fought with the cashier he then proceeded to smash the window with a stone and get kicked in the face police later arrived and I have picture evidence well for that you should come here just make sure to wear metal armoury.

I came here for the first time yesterday and never again. I've been running to the toilet since. Not alot of options. Spring rolls where half soggy and half crispy. The second lot of Sweet and sour put out was clearly left out because the sauce was like jelly. Salt and pepper wings where was the salt? After taking my bite of a second wing, wasn't cooked at all. Hardly ate one plate and was still really ill after wish I went jerk shack or something.

This place sit in front of the job centre on Thornton heath high street,clean service area,but very small,plenty of choice of food,very narrow sitting area,difficult for wheelchair users,especially when trying to self serve,narrow walk way... The place were very busy on the one occasion that I visited..no parking place is available because of where this place is situated on the high street.. Good point the price for eat inside is £8 take away £5. You can eat as much as you want..

The worse Chinese food I ever ate in my whole entire life rice was dry the squirt was like eating a slipper the noodles was dry and oily the curry chicken wasn’t actually cooked properly was pink and raw when I token one bite out of it

Very good prices & big portion sizes. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend sweet & sour chicken, egg fried rice, chicken curry, chicken wings & stir fry mushrooms..

As someone who eats Chinese food regularly this is the lowest of the low even a dog would turn its nose up. The prawns are not fit for human consumption , the beef in the black bean sauce tastes like chalky kidney , I feel sick while writing this review so I’m now going to finish . If you want Chinese food this is not the place , Tesco ready meal will satisfy you more .this is NOT A CHINESE it’s a bad soup Kitchen

If you don't mind explosive diarrhoea and belly bugs... this is the place for you. I'm sure salt on cardboard has more flavour? The display is not fit for human consumption. You'd need a cast iron stomach and even then... I wonder? Please avoid at all costs if you value your health and wellbeing. I would rate it minus 10 but no option. Weird smell and taste. Barely ate anything due to this and it still made me sick. Take the warning... AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! Should of just gone to nandos.

Words cant explain how much i like this place, but numbers can.. zero. Disgusting. When we first walked in, the staff payed no attention to us till he finally came to the till. When he gave us the plates, they weren’t even clean. Not enough selection for a buffet. Food was dry asl. Out of each 3 dishes i tried. Each three dishes i hated. Chicken was NOT clean, It was also tasteless, It felt like i was chewing on rubber and it was so slimy. Noodles were just as dry as the chicken. Also tasteless. NO seasoning, none of the food even remotely tasted like Chinese. The rice… i don’t even wanna talk about the rice. I thought you couldn’t go wrong cooking rice till i stepped into this horrid place. It tasted like air. You wanna know why. Because it was also tasteless. My dog even said his kibble tasted better then the food. The tables were dirty too. NEVER GO HERE. All im gonna say is, your gonna regret it. (Unless you like pidgin meat 😁)

Excellent place to eat. Nice and neat. Staff are friendly and receive you nicely as soon as you enter the door. Food is good and with good variety. Doesn't break the bank to have a decent meal. Will recommend.

Not authentic Chinese food. Not a lot of variety. The best thing was the spring rolls. (Which were were ready made) It was clean inside, the tables were clean. Usually go here with my gf and we both enjoy to eat wish there were more none meat options so she can enjoy too the last time we went there however there was a shock there were little brown ANTS!!! on the table and crawling underneath we tried to tell staff but he wasn't much bothered that needs to be sorted asap

I wasn't expecting much, and it lived up to my expectations. It's not bad, but I've had way better. It's cheap and the selection is OK. but fried stuff (chicken, squid, spring rolls, etc) tasted a bit of old oil, and it tastes very much like catering bulk ready made microwave food

Not the most authentic Chinese/Asian cuisine. Not the most tastiest food. I think the star dish out of the buffet would be the fried chicken wings, thoroughly cooked, and they come hot & crispy 🤩 But you don't go to chinese restaurant to eat chicken wings unless it's honey drizzled or something of the sort. It doesn't fit in with the theme of food. I wanted to try the Prawns but they didn't look or smell very appealing. Well it may not have been the prawns themselves, but the buffet trolley they were in did not give off a very nice odor. They are small, dry and looked like they have been thrown in the pan with a bunch of chilli flakes. Maybe fried tempura Prawns, or battered Prawns in garlic and chili, would be a better choice. On the other hand, you can tell it's a place that is appreciated a lot in the community they're basically doing the Lord's work. I was surprised by how busy it got late in the evening, this was because the majority of customers were people who clearly just finished a long day's work, and would definitely not have time to cook something up to eat at home. It's well priced & cheap all-you-can-eat, also the prices of the takeaway boxes are affordable.

The food is very spicy (not child friendly) and there aren’t many options to choose from. Not authentic Asian cuisine. Yes it’s cheap but we couldn’t eat anything because of the amount of chilli 🌶️ that was on 99% of the dishes.

This is the worse buffet I’ve ever been to, the customer service was horrible but didn’t expect much £7.99. We didn’t even get a clean second plate. The food was absolutely diabolical no seasoning straight bland. It isn’t even Cooked by Chinese chef. We tried to look for the food hygiene rating and couldn’t even find it on display.

The food is great and there is a high turn over so trays are regulary replaced with fresh stuff! All nice and clean and the gyy on the till is lovely - warm and friendly.

Needed something quick, cheap and cheerful and this place hit the spot. Didn't expect much tbh as its really reasonably priced (£7.99 all you can eat on a Saturday afternoon), but there was lots of choice and it was really nice. Pleasantly surprised. Will def be back again.

The price is what makes it worth it but I'd recommed seasoning the food if you eat. There isn't much spice or anything Chinese style. Still a good eat though.

Extremely cheap and overall ok quality. Their wings when fresh are really good and crispy. You can tell how good they are by seeing how people shove as many wings as they can in their takeaway box. They only take cash. In the summer they need to install proper air conditioning as you'd physically sweat loads whilst dining in.

absolutely horrible!!! i’m shocked that this place had so many good reviews clearly not many of you have decent taste buds…. all the food was awful left with a tummy ache and food poisoning i was embarrassed to bring my friend here, i wouldn’t even come here again even if the food was free !!! the beef was so tough and chewy that i thought it’d break my teeth all variations of chicken tasted old and all food stations were hardly topped up on the regular please please avoid this place at all costs unless you’re into dog/pigeon meat !!

I recently have been wanting to try new things. This is the perfect place, it is cheap and has loads of variety. I had tried a bit of everything(for the first time) and i was amazed by how good the food was. I especially liked the curry and the singapore noodles. I will defiantly be coming here again

It depends we got all you could eat for 6.99.so what's not to like? Good range of dishes.probably fresh.but too many customers.difficult to get to the food to self serve but a little patience and goodwill as well as a sprinkle of good manners really helps. Salad tasted bad.soggy tomatoes and cucumbers.prawns were soggy and not fresh.curries were ok .prawn crackers were great. Basically if your hungry and want to go cheap go for it but be prepared for grimy restaurant and some dishes not being up to scratch.it wasn't terrible all in all but not great either

They also do Buffer (EAMAYL) £6.99 and they had plenty of variety which you do not find. They had squid, prawns, fish and chicken? What else one can ask for? And the dishes were full when I went this time. Must try and it is all halal.
