Buckys Restaurant in Croydon

A friend and I went in @ 5.30 on a Saturday. We weren't shown a menu or prices. We considered the waiter helpful and friendly as he talked us through our options. We ordered 2 medium size meals, 1 bottle of beer & 1 bottle of water. It is more a cafe than a restaurant. The food was cheap cafe standard. We were charged £50 & the waiter refused to let us see a menu or drinks prices. £20 would have been a fair price. .

As a family we have been looking for a good Ghanaian restaurant that is clean, has great customer service and does authentic Ghanaian food. We have found the spot! The food was delicious and the customer service was fantastic. A lovely place to eat and great environment. Will most definitely be back soon!

This restaurant has become my new go-to!! I've visited many times prior to the pandemic and now I've been enjoying collecting my orders via ubereats. My staple order is usually Nkatsenkwan (Peanut Soup) with fufu or Jollof Rice with Chicken or Chofi. I am of African descent but this was my first experience with Ghanaian food and I love the flavours and presentation of the food. Not only do they have the best food BUT they also have the original drinks from back home (Ghana Fanta, Sprite, Coke, Alcoholic beverages & more) I enjoy treating myself with orders from this place and to be honest I'm glad they're taking my money. If you have ever wanted to try African food? This is the place to go. The head chef helps guide your order if you're ever confused and the interior just makes you feel at home. Looking forward to restrictions easing so I can eat indoors again.
