The best restaurants in Coulsdon West Croydon London

Yesterday was the second time of visiting Bombaylicious, and have left writing a review until now as one visit isn’t enough to gauge the overall standard of food and service. If anything, the second visit surpassed the first. The food is absolutely incredible, delivered with a friendly service. Bombaylicious is now definitely my go-to place for a curry. It’s a small place, by the way, but don’t let that put you off. I can guarantee it is well worth a visit and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Visited today for brunch, and it was delicious as usual. We are regulars here and they serve an excellent Eggs Benedict! Really lovely cosy cafe with quirky decor, and the owners are charming. Great little local cafe.

Everything was lovely and very tasty, however, I received one item wrong… I ordered one garlic mayo chips and one truffle chips but got 2 garlic mayo ones instead. My husband was disappointed that his one was wrong!

Wonderful meal here this evening. Enjoyed trying lots of different dishes - all freshly cooked / delicious. Servers were friendly/ knowledgeable (especially the young, curly haired lad), explaining the menu. Quite pricey, but worth it for a special night out. Only criticism was that the lights were way too bright - could do with being a bit more dimmed & the music was a bit too funky for my tastes 😁😁

Antonio the owner is very pleasant and the coffee is high quality. You need to ask for what you want as there is no show case to choose.

The folks behind the counter were really friendly and welcoming and the blondie cake I bought was one of the best I've had.

This is a fabulous little cafe with great coffee, delicious pastries and a totally customisable breakfast menu. Staff are friendly and approachable, lovely chilled atmosphere and is just the best cafe in Coulsdon. Highly recommend.

I was driving through Coulsdon earlier today when I noticed this place. It looked like it was nicely done up and looked very clean. I fancied a coffee but was undecided as to exactly what one but after speaking to Manuele I decided on a latte. I’ve been to all of the mainstream coffee shops but honestly have to say that this latte knocked spots off of all of them. I even felt compelled to see if they have a website, which they do. I can see myself becoming a regular when I am passing. I highly recommend a visit.

False Advertising: We went expecting a relaxing breakfast but imagine my surprise when the staff asked us to put our clothes back on! We were expecting the complete 'full monty' experience but all we got was a great breakfast and I know we weren't the only ones upset as I saw a couple of large truckers with an expectant twinkle in their eye, ready to join in until a staff member requested that we cover our sausage and eggs. Please make your advertising clearer as I wouldn't want coach loads of swingers to be disappointed.

Had a take away. The photos will explain. Was surprised the owner wanted to argue with me. He did return my money........ eventually .
