The best restaurants in Coulsdon West Croydon London

1st time here, when I looked at menu I honestly thought s***, onion bahji gorgeous probably best I’ve tried, I asked the waiter for his recommendation on something with spice but Not tomatoy and the dish he suggested was fantastic chicken keralan; I asked for mushroom rice and the waiter recommended saffron pulao rice as would complement the chicken dish, gorgeous, my partner had the rajasthani lamb Laal mass. Lamb was so so tender and the sauce amazing, very little restaurant seats maybe 10 ppl, very pleasant for first time,, would definitely go back and totally recommend this restaurant

Visited today for brunch, and it was delicious as usual. We are regulars here and they serve an excellent Eggs Benedict! Really lovely cosy cafe with quirky decor, and the owners are charming. Great little local cafe.

We chose this restaurant for my husband's birthday having had our honeymoon in Japan and falling in love with Japanese cuisine. We booked a table, and very glad we did because it's a wonderfully small place and very busy mid-week. Our meal was absolutely wonderful, I cannot recommend this place enough. Lovely staff and fresh, tasty food. It's not the cheapest but I didn't expect so - the food is fresh and very high quality. We'll be back!

Growing up in Rome I have always struggled to find the feel of a taverna in London....my search has ended. Blasting out Italian Radio the small taverna does not disappoint. Expect a great insalata carne followed by Pizzas with proper quality ingredients that lovingly adorn the near perfect crust.

Antonio the owner is very pleasant and the coffee is high quality. You need to ask for what you want as there is no show case to choose.

Probably best meal I've had there. Thoroughly enjoyed it tonight.

This is a fabulous little cafe with great coffee, delicious pastries and a totally customisable breakfast menu. Staff are friendly and approachable, lovely chilled atmosphere and is just the best cafe in Coulsdon. Highly recommend.

I was driving through Coulsdon earlier today when I noticed this place. It looked like it was nicely done up and looked very clean. I fancied a coffee but was undecided as to exactly what one but after speaking to Manuele I decided on a latte. I’ve been to all of the mainstream coffee shops but honestly have to say that this latte knocked spots off of all of them. I even felt compelled to see if they have a website, which they do. I can see myself becoming a regular when I am passing. I highly recommend a visit.

False Advertising: We went expecting a relaxing breakfast but imagine my surprise when the staff asked us to put our clothes back on! We were expecting the complete 'full monty' experience but all we got was a great breakfast and I know we weren't the only ones upset as I saw a couple of large truckers with an expectant twinkle in their eye, ready to join in until a staff member requested that we cover our sausage and eggs. Please make your advertising clearer as I wouldn't want coach loads of swingers to be disappointed.

Had a take away. The photos will explain. Was surprised the owner wanted to argue with me. He did return my money........ eventually .

Really nice food, beautifully cooked. A nice mix of dishes. One of my son's us vegiterian and there was a great selection for him as well as the rest of us. The Korean Chicken was amazing as was the chilly beef. The waitress and owner were very polite and friendly. Highly reccomended.
