I ordered Fish AND CHIPS!!!Order arrived, no chips- I’m speechless, which is probably just as well.

Saturday night for birthday celebration dinner. The food was great and so was the service, plus very friendly. Entertainment added to a lively and enjoyable night.

Fabulous chunk of lightly battered fresh flaky cod cooked to perfection with i think home made tartar sauce. Massive let down was the undercooked limp frozen skinny chips, i expected home made fresh potato chips in a lovely restaurant like this. Where else can you get fish n chips and a alcohol drink for 14.50 dining in a luxury place like this. Update it is closed now Go treat yourself.

Met a friend here today on my birthday,cdnt believe how busy it was but now l know.A beautiful young lady greeted me and asked what I'd like almost immediately. My friend and l chose the delicious home made cake and when my slice arrived with a lighted candle in it the whole café broke into Happy Birthday. I'd had a sad morning but what a happy afternoon. Highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed.

Ordered food in advance as we were quite a large group and they still got the order wrong . Some of the group had to reorder food. Don’t think I will return.

Been to this shop a few times I can only say it’s very clean the fish is really delicious and pure white! Service and staff really friendly 👍🏻

Amazing place to come for breakfast after a cold school run.The vegetarian deluxe is delicious much better than that of local competitors nearby!10/10 and I am now a regular.The mac & cheese is also divine as is their smoothies!Everything is cooked fresh and fast and the presentation is elite!I recommend to everyone I speak to.

Just returned from a lovely lunch at the Woodman. Group of four served by the friendly staff. Food delicious. Sea bass was excellent as were the other mains. Thank you.

Don’t know how early .. rough guess

Thought after a bad experience years ago, i would give Maxims another go. Terrible. Food was cold, chicken certainly not fresh, crispy chilli beef, was definitely not crispy with no chilli & coated in sweet and sour sauce, no flavour at all. Crispy seaweed not crispy and cold. Watered down hoisin sauce, greasy prawn toast! No taste in anything at all and all cold. Will never use again! So disappointed. Would never recommend to anyone. Thrown most of it away.
