Ordered 2 quarter pounders but we’re served regular sized run of the mill kids sized burger that was charged at almost £7 so not worth the price. Other reviewer correct quite dilapidated and mainly English menu as suppose catering for all about the area. Needs updating and proper sized portions to what they are sold as.

The Manager of this pub is very rude and aggressive. I had a booking for 14/12/2024 and the Manager, Martin Lloyd, sent me a very rude e-mail insisting that I contact the pub. He lied in that e-mail and said that he'd sent me some e-mails to chase my booking - I never received these e-mails so basically those e-mails don't exist. The pub was very disorganised regarding my booking, including their failure to take my mobile number down or take my deposit - even when I willingly offered to pay the deposit straightaway. Martin refused to take any responsibility for this complete fiasco and as soon as I politely asked him to prove that he'd sent me the e-mails he cancelled our booking, even though at that point I'd said that we wanted to come in for lunch on 14/12/2024. I suspect that he cancelled our booking because he wanted to accommodate a bigger group. His customer service skills are absolutely appalling. He rather rudely said that we could still come in on 14/12/2024, using a very rude and aggressive and dismissive tone, but I politely declined and I told him that I don't want to come in now because of his behaviour.

Mi pinta estaba muy poco llena y en casi 6 hubiera esperado una pinta completa. El lugar estaba muy frío debido a una puerta abierta. Ella se ofreció a cerrarlo, pero no lo hizo, así que tuve que ponerme abrigos y me duele la cabeza debido al calado en la parte posterior de mi cabeza. Yo fui la única que ordenó el postre, pero ella trajo una para mi esposo de todos modos. Sin aceitunas ni pan con el entrante. La salsa tártara sabía a crema de ensalada. Pedimos mostaza con nuestro bistec y todo lo que tenían era mostaza al estilo americano de Tesco. Las patatas fritas no sabían a papa fresca.

Hi Wonderful variety of unusual groceries and decent take away menu. Coffee however dreadful. Capucchino has no froth and tasted very bitter and watery. Avoid for coffees.

Had never eaten Vietnamese food before so tried this excellent food and fabulous service even though the restaurant was bursting at the seams. We'll definitely eat there again

Visited with a friend for an iced coffee. Awful customer experience. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Gave them a reusable cup to use but was forgotten about and then abruptly poured into in a rushed way (despite no queues or need to do this quickly and without care). Staff were rude to each other behind the till and acted like they didn't want to be there which made the overall experience very negative. We didn't feel welcome to stop and sit in the shop and left due to the poor experience with interacting with the staff. Looked like a nice place to sit and the coffee was nice enough but would recommend going elsewhere.

A very cosy place that has excellent staff and very quick service. I am especially pleased with John who is a hardworking individual that is efficient and provides a quick service. Furthermore there drink are nice as there beer is bubbly and fresh. Even tho the prices might be high but the wealth of services provided a ever lasting experience.

This is a proper pub. Welcoming with a great team and good food and drinks and an excellenta atmosphere. The landlord clearly knows his stuff and is slowly introducing a number of improvements. Well worth a visit

I often order takeaway from Thai Moom as I find it more authentic than other options. Really delicious tom yum soup which is rare outside of Thailand. 1 for atmosphere as this was a takeaway, however I have eaten in the restaurant once and would go back.
