Hi Wonderful variety of unusual groceries and decent take away menu. Coffee however dreadful. Capucchino has no froth and tasted very bitter and watery. Avoid for coffees.

Raffaelle has some of the best coffee and Italian deli items in Beckenham. She’s a centre for the local community Including local Italians. She’s dog friendly and there are a few seats inside, several outside, as well as doing a take away service. Because it’s small there may be a short queue while she sees to the person in front of you’s orders: it’s definitely worth any waiting you might have to do, in summer her ice cream is fabulous. All year round, check her cheeses, salami, anchovies as well as pastas jams biscuits etc. And have a coffee, pick up your panini for lunch. Great stuff for Christmas too...get them now, presents sorted!

The service provided by the waiter was unsatisfactory, with a lack of professionalism and attentiveness towards the customers. The waiter's behavior was perceived as arrogant, despite being friendly, and the high-pitched voice may have been off-putting to some diners. Furthermore, the service was described as subpar, with a lack of basic amenities such as napkins and spoons for coffee. The quality of the crepe was disappointing, being served cold, which indicates a lack of attention to detail in food preparation. Additionally, the extended waiting time for the food to be served, despite the restaurant being relatively empty, reflects poor time management and inefficiency in the kitchen. Overall, the overall dining experience at Crep Restaurant was marred by these issues, resulting in a negative impression of the establishment. It is important for restaurants to prioritize customer satisfaction by providing quality service, attention to detail in food preparation, and efficient service to ensure a positive dining experience for all patrons.

It looked inviting with seating in the shade outside. I stopped to have a coffee and a Greek Salad and I have to say the food was excellent. Well presented and tasty with a good variety - including grilled peppers. Coffee was good too. I definitely recommend you try out the interesting menu.

For the food I would have given 5 stars but the waiter was something else !! When my grandson originally ordered from the set menu he chose the panna cotta for desert however he changed his mind and ordered the rum baba (at our extra cost) only to be told by the waiter after that he has to have the panna cotta as well as he originally ordered it!! No problem we paid for both but given his attitude I was not paying £23 service charge and paid £13. We were literally chased down the road and told service charge is mandatory and I legally have to pay it!!! I don’t think so…. Such a shame because we have had some great times in this restaurant and lovely food but sadly will not be going back.

Crisps were very wet looks like the package was open or had an air leak maybe they were just old, I handed them back in person at the till but they didn't seem to care about it.That made me think sandwich was also not right. 😞

I eat here with my friend most weeks and can definitely confirm that it is not a greasy spoon! If you want something light just ask as the staff are super friendly and polite, and the Chef (Omar) is a real character and wears the most unusual hat. Try and get a booth seat and don’t be afraid to ask for what you want as a breakfast combo.
