A great family run restaurant in the heart of Petts Wood, We are always greeted with a warm welcome and have eaten here many times. Its extensive menu and delicious food is a must for anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere and a little Mexican spice!

Tawana and Finn were really great, good vibes! The music was modern and felt a more bar upbeat atmosphere which was great for a Saturday night. Gf fajitas were more like tacos which was fine as long as you like tacos! :))

I’ve come to this restaurant twice for food and drinks and both times I’ve been more than impressed, the food is lovely. Very accommodating. Lovely service. Overall 10/10

Walked in as a group of 7, and we had an awful experience at this restaurant. The waitress was shockingly unwelcoming, passive-aggressive and unprofessional, she failed to seat us in an empty restaurant and then proceeded to take our order correctly. Despite being the first customers in an empty restaurant, we waited over two hours for basic dishes like nachos and a chicken burger. During this time, more than a dozen takeaway orders and another table that arrived after us were prioritised and served before us. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, yet it lacked basic amenities like functioning toilets. Furthermore, we waited almost two hours for our food! And when our food finally arrived, it was both incorrect and incomplete. My chicken burger was served without the fries it was meant to come with, which had to then prepare separately and took another 20 minutes on top, making it impossible to enjoy the complete meal as intended. For an establishment that is serving what is essentially fast food, a two hour wait for a chicken burger is unacceptable, and the poor customer service and overall experience was appalling, and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The waitresses was rude and should not be working in this industry. The restaurant was freezing. Use to come here previously as was my daughters favourite. The place has gone down. The food good.

From the moment we arrived, Tawana made us feel very welcome. Like visiting friends rather than eating out. The food was great (I had a cheeseburger - awesome relish and nicely cooked patty) and the service was impeccable throughout. Give it a try!

Absolutely loved coming here! Food was great, especially the Korean chicken burger which was delicious. The steak in the enchiladas was brisket so especially soft. Great sauces too. The most impressive thing was how lovely the staff were. All of the waitresses were so helpful and understanding. Such a great team.

Walked in without pre booking a table. Was given an incredibly warm welcome from the staff. We got seated immediately without fuss. There was so much to choose from on the menu, something there for everyone. I had the Buffalo chocking burger with loaded fries. Could not fault the food my friend had the steak burrito. It was very busy with Uber eats riders constantly coming in for pick ups, it caused a delay with our food. But the manager took the time to come over and apologise for the wait. Now we personally didn’t find it an issue. But I’m sure the fussy people out there will get a bit agitated. Over all. A great place to eat. Definitely will make a return visit.

SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. If you want your food in a timely manner, then do not order. We ordered through Athenian and order keeps getting pushed back. We ordered at 6:10 and our expected delivery time is now 7:50 - 8:15, by which point we will have left. Our original deliver time given was 6:50. The rider was at the restaurant, but must have been waiting there too long and has now left the restaurant. The man on the phone lied and said there was no rider at the restaurant. Worst of all, it sold days preparing your order Clearly you are not equipped to be running 2 restaurants out of this establishment. We are hungry, cannot get a refund, and all the man on the phone could say is "contact Deliveroo". Completely ruined our evening.

Popped in for a little birthday lunch with friends Tawana made us feel welcome straight away - added some little touches as it was my birthday 😊 - food was all good , hot and well presented. - They even played some Mexican music, made me wear mexican hat and sung happy birthday to me. 😀

Had a Mothers Day meal here with family,some went with the special menu and others chose off the menu and enjoyed it. Nachos with the beef was amazing and the sizzling chicken. I visited this amazing restaurant on Saturday (17/02/2024) and I just had to leave a review. This wouldn’t be a good review without mentioning our waitress Tawana, who was absolutely outstanding! Warm and welcoming personality, Tawana was super friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. The customer service was top-notch too. Fantastic dinning experience, we often find it very difficult to find a place to eat as a family due to our son's autism, but the staff have been fantastic and the LED lighting and calm atmosphere is fantastic. Would definitely come here again. The food was delicious, and the staff are so accommodating and friendly. 5 stars guys x

We ordered food at 9:40pm it took our order and money, gave us an estimated time of delivery, then delayed that time without sending our order to us.it is now 1120 it still saying it’s waiting to be picked up! If it’s too late to take orders then don’t take them!! The restaurant is now closed and not answering the phone so assume we are not getting it at all now!!

If I could 0 stars I would. But that one star is for the lovely guy Louie who served us at the end. Asked for a pulled pork burger and added a beef patty to it, the young girl waitress said she will check with chef and come back. Never came back and severed our food 15 mins later. The burger turned up with what only can be described as cat food inside, soggy and no beef patty. We asked if we could have a patty inside again and they took it back, came out put it on the table and walked off. We called her over to ask where the beef was, she explained it was inside chopped. It definitely wasn’t, it was 4 slabs of pork, not pulled and so much sauce it was dripping an extreme heat sauce even though not stated on the menu as spicy. So bad we couldn’t eat it. The Mac and cheese was boiled pasta with cream, no cheese. Also chicken wings, are wings. What turned up was drumsticks and this was all 12 “chicken wings” on the table… After we complained, the waitress refused to serve us again and instead spoke about us to the chefs as we could hear being sat so close to the kitchen. The waiter Louie was very understanding and agreed To take it all of the bill at the end. We refused to pay service charge purely for the reason of the waitress ignoring us and then talking behind our back. The restaurant is a good concept, however as the saying goes “jack of all trades, master at none” they should of just stuck to Mexican…

Good food, good service and a beer!

OK, lets start with this is not a market, its just a restaurant with a big menu. We wanted to try the new Medley Market for lunch, Unfortunately its like the owners have watched too many TikTok videos of funky Camden restaurants where the owners have a passion for food without the ability to deliver on what they are promising. I ordered 2 pulled pork burritos & their "Crispy corn tortilla chips loaded with shredded cheese, queso, pickled jalapeno, fresh coriander, a choice of protein, pico de gallo and your choice of sauce" and Chips. What I got was tortillas from Sainsburys with melted cheese on top and chopped tomatoes (No sauce, or flavour). The Burritos had no sauce (Spicy or otherwise), sour cream, guacamole or any type of flavour at all!!! it was just meat, rice, cheese and a bit of lettice. The pulled pork was tasteless as it hadn't been marinated or cooked in anything, it was just the meat. Those are the cons. The pros:- Looks like they spent some money doing out the restaurant "Market", but that's not going to fill my belly. The amount of pulled pork in the burrito (flavourless as it was) wasn't too bad. Summary:- Would we go back, probably not.

Medle market is a lovely and cozy place, a restaurant serving delicious dishes from Mexico and chicken burgers from Korea. Tacos, Chicken Wings, Boneless chicken Strips and many other delicacies. With a glass of wine or beer, I recommend!!!

Me ,my friend and our kids went to Medley Market pets wood on Saturday night after they had the renovation. We all enjoyed eating there because it’s affordable, delicious food & cocktails, the beautiful settings and very good service . Highly recommend it 👍👍

Visit first time after renovation they had. Had Veggie Enchiladas and Beef Chimichangas, plus a few cocktails. Food and cocktails were good and arrived quickly. Atmosphere and service were good too. Prices reasonable

Staff very unitentive, Food extremely underwhelming, Three of us went,Ordered Ribs & Wings told they had ran out, Ended up with the Tacos Chicken Tinga,Boring & Plain, Could do better at home & have done & this is supposed to be restaurant quality, Chilli Con Carne looked like something a Cat chucked up & a bowl of something that looked very unappealing, Frozen onion rings six cans of coke zero over £50.00, Can honestly say first & last visit, wWon't be going their again...

Papi taco 30/07/2022 This place goes by at least 3 different names, ‘Say Queso’ on Google, ‘Papi Taco’ on the take-out apps and ‘Desperados’ in person. (EDIT: They also go by ‘Medley Market’ and ‘Rebel ‘rito Burritos’. Very shady.) Overall the food was extremely disappointing and the pictures on the apps incredibly misleading. Firstly, the tacos. Admittedly, they do not specifically say hard or soft shell, but what came was essentially bland slop in a wrap. They did not give us any of the sauces that we paid for, either on the tacos or separately. So there was no saving grace there. Secondly, the Nachos. We have no idea what kind of sauce was on this but it was very strange. I won’t say it was bad as that seems to be more of a matter of opinion. However it was simply soaked in this sauce, with a bit of cheddar sprinkled over it, nothing else. Thirdly, the quesadillas. We went with plain cheese and it was still terrible. How do you mess up cheese + wrap + heat? I will say, it was delivered very quickly and the curly fries were decent. Overall, I’d recommend avoiding this place.
