Very poor food considering they’ve basically just raised the price of the carvery to £14.95 overnight with no advance notification, the beef was so overcooked the carver couldn’t even carve it !!! It just crumbled into shreds and clumps the turkey and ham wasn’t any better as it had been overcooked to a similar condition !!! the roast potatoes were so hard,as you put pressure on the knife to cut them to bite size pieces the inside of the potato miraculously found its way out leaving a mish mash of sludgy potato and hard overcooked roast potato skin on the plate !!!! the stuffing is most probably some cheap catering version of Paxo it’s so dry it’s inedible !!!! As for the vegetables they’re clearly frozen and boiled within an inch of their lives , the cauliflower cheese tasted “plasticky “ most probably another frozen bought in commodity !!!, as for the mashed potato well, indeed that may be freshly prepared from natural ingredients “ potato “ !!!! but when one endeavours to scoop a portion of mashed potato onto the serving implement it’s a nightmare to actually get the portion onto the plate!!!! as it’s caked with mashed potato that previous customers have not been able to manage to actually get on their plate !!!! something similar to someone trying to clear frozen snow off their path with a shovel in the end the shovel is caked in snow unless of course someone cleans the shovel !!!! occasionally the carver nicks the designated tongs that’s meant for customers to pick up their roast potatoes, to actually scoop the shreds of meat that’s collapsed during attempts to cut the meat joints !!! On one occasion I scalded my hand on one of the tongs as a previous customer had just put the tongs back into the centre of the tray containing the roast potatoes or other vegetables !!! There is clearly a lack of supervision at the carvery hub !!!! The Queen Bull needs to get her act together !!! With regards to the reviews , as an observation anyone “ praises “ the establishment who clearly have no sense of taste, quality or smell other than having the easy option of not having to prepare and cook Sunday lunch, get their boots kicked, anyone who dares to send critical damning reviews get knocked back with sarcasm, take note of the bad reviews madam they’re the important ones Queen Bull less of the “ meeting and greeting “ do something positive do some positive supervision set higher standards to get your business on track or you may end up on Gordon Ramsay’ s Kitchen Nightmares programme, I’ll even sponsor your establishment !!!!!
