Killian (Cillian) is a great bar man serves a great pint. All the staff are really lovely and attentive. Renata always takes time to chat and make you feel welcome. The bouncers are very courteous and always check in to see you are ok. 10/10

Roast dinner served on a desert plate, absolutely shocking

Ordered battered fish & chips, was really bland, the fish was nearly orange looking & soggy. Very basic no peas or garnish or lemon slice. No thrills food!

The New Inn had been booked a wake for a friend. The staff we very helpful and the buffet was very good. The room was spacious and had a private bar.

Amazing lunch, good price and fab service from our waitress. This is a amazing pub with fab staff

My favourite place to be on a Friday night

Due to bad experiences elsewhere in tne past.. I wasn't expecting much, especially at 6pm on mother's day.. However we were totally surprised.The food and service were amazing . They had a set menu complete with a glass of pink prosceco but it all worked. There was even live music which added to the atmosphere. The food arrived piping hot . The staff were friendly and although they were very busy , they were smiling and not grumpy. Unlike some places.Thank you ALL for making it a special Mothers day meal. We can't wait to return.

Lovely venue for a drink or a meal. I had a drink. Good service in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Would just be nice to have a wider range of non-alcoholic beers.

Three of us came for lunch yesterday. My brother and I ordered the same starter, only one was brought out. He had to go and ask for his, which turned up 10 minutes later. It was supposed to be served with bread, which again we had to ask for. All of the mains did come out at the same time, however it took an age to produce a chocolate brownie. The food was fine, the service abysmal. Had a service charge been added to the bill we would not have paid it.

Attentive staff and efficient. Food always good. Was able to choose off menu a dish Id had there before. No fuss, chef was more than adaptable to offer alterative and waitress willing to check with the kitchen.

It was clean and warm. When we visited, we were the only people there.

Went on Xmas party been few years now. problem is at 10 pm every one from downstairs can join in to party upstairs full of guys basically..shame

Went for family lunch, food was good, service a little slow. I had to go and ask for more drinks on a few occasions rather than staff coming to the table to check.

Well turned out with tasteful decor. Good beer, had the London Pride on this occasion. Ate the sausage and mash which was a little disappointing as not enough sausage and was only luke warm. Friendly staff though. Have now been a second time. Food on this occasion was excellent. Had the steak fritze.

Bit quiet on a Monday, as to be expected, great food though. Good place for a bunch of blokes who just wanted to chat and catch up.

I no longer live in the area but visited this lovely restaurant on Oct 28th 2023 and seen how it has been transformed to a beautiful standard from years ago when I used to come here The food and service were excellent, lovely friendly staff, and I had an enjoyable time, I would highly recommend.

Good food and service, but the beer I was on ran out. Friday night disco is basically an over 40s meat market. Quite entertaining if you're not part of the market.

We had dinner for my father in laws 80th birthday last Saturday. Nothing was too much trouble from booking via email and the staff on site. . Food was amazing, and all came out together, no mean feat, considering there was 14 of us. Highly recommended.

First time for Sunday lunch in the New Inn. I went for the trio of meats and each one was very good indeed. No issues with the portion sizes or the quality of the side dishes. The service was very good and we had a nice circular ‘cubicle’ in the corner. Our chosen wines were very nice and reasonably priced. We had pudding and then took coffee out the front on the patio. The sun was out and made for a very enjoyable experience. Overall well worth its 5* on this occasion.

Three of us went for a birthday meal. The food was good but unfortunately the online menu was out of date so two options for me were not available. The waitress was very nice but forgot to give us drinks menus. We ended up having 241 cocktails which were great. I'll definitely go again.

Nice place to eat and found a good selection of food on offer. Quantity was generous as well. Unfortunately we picked a Sunday where some sort of club may have been football or cricket decided to descend and we’re a bit noisy and of course everyone else in the place increased their volume as well🤪

The burgers in here are delicious! My friend had the Prime Beef Burger and I had the Cajun Chicken Burger. We were both impressed with the size and quality of the food. The staff Renata and Sandra were both friendly and attentive to our needs and made our lunch experience feel great. We had the chocolate brownie and the triple sorbet for dessert and they were lovely. I would recommend this venue for both the food and the service.

The New Inn is a good place to visit, the food is good and the beer is excellent. The service is particuarly good, especially Lauren.

We visit every Tuesday.....our table is always ready for us. Lauren is an excellent waitress and barmaid. Service with a smile and very chatty. Best pint of pride in the South East.

I had a magnificent luncheon experience at the New Inn. The food was fresh, delicious and tremendously presented. The environment was quiet and peaceful and we were treated with the utmost respect. The member of staff; who I believe was a lady named Renata catered for my every whim and she was extremely polite and professional. I must say she was highly skilled in customer service. If I were in the hospitality business myself I would most certainly attempt to entice her to work for me! I will definitely return soon.

I can not recommend this venue enough to hold a party. Hannah was amazing at communicating with us. The food was great! The venue is perfect for 80+ guests for a party. The staff were great, no was waiting too long to be served at the bar. 100% will be using this venue ago. Can't thank Hannah enough!

Just had a very disappointing meal at The New Inn. I had pasta with prawns. Awful awful awful. About four tablespoons of penne pasta two or three tomatoes and four prawns all for £14.95. My mother ordered apple and cinnamon crumble £6.95. No cinnamon so asked the waitress and she came out with a pot of cinnamon powder!! I was with a group of people whose meals weren't much better. Gammon was extremely tough. Would not want to eat there again. Too expensive for rubbish food.

I have been hear before with family and it is a nice pub and garden.Today I had ploughman's lunch which had no salad,the smallest silver skin onions in a little pot,and a few crisps that looked like they were from the bottom of the bag.All served up on a wooden board.When I tried to explain to the staff they didn't seem to understand what I was trying to point out to them.Infact said what did I want them to do? I asked to speak to a Manager but they said there wasn't one in there today.After that asked me if I wanted free drinks to which I sad no then said do you want a refund. Amazing they didn't make any effort to put things wright or even apologise just to say that they are short of staff etc. So a refund was given for three ploughman's lunches.🤔 What a shame we went home hungry. 🤪

Used to love this place on a Friday night as it had a more mature clientele. Now it’s like a school disco with many definitely underage. I think they may have reduced the age to 21+ but someone I spoke to was 17! Such a shame as the music is great with the dj playing older dance tunes (as long as they don’t have the awful bongo player there!). Used to be packed when it was an older crowd. Such a shame.

We had a great experience when we hired out the function room for our party. Hannah was very accommodating and everything went as planned. Venue you was perfect and the staff on the night were great too. I would definitely recommend.

Came in on a rainy Sunday night as the real ale pub nearby was closed. Big barn of a place. Decent pint of Guinness.

We booked the function room for a wake/celebration of my mums life. The manager and staff were brilliant. Very helpful. Later they found us a table to eat at, in the middle of a very busy Sunday service. The choice of food and drinks were great. The quality of the food outstanding. What might have been a very somber day was made very special and memorable for all the right reasons for my family by the wonderful manager and his brilliant professional team. Thanks guys.

We hired the function room above the pub for a ‘Celebration of Life’ for my Mother, the room was spacious & welcoming absolute ideal, thank you.

Had squid to start and for 9£ I was expecting a decent portion. 5 calamari rings is what I was served. Very disappointing for a place I use to rate so highly. Will not be eating here again. Took a long time for out plates to be cleared. I had to get up and go to the bar to ask to pay. Very poor

Felt like I was being taken back in time. Such a beautiful place inside and out. Rooms are very spacious and comfy. The food is really nice and is reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say is that the carpets in the room need a clean. Apart from that, I would most definitely 💯 stay again and would recommend.

Wouldn't rate the food. Limited menu and value for money not great. Odd combination put together. If you love a dessert, this is not the place for you.

What a great time all our friends and family had at our reception at the New Inn 30/6/2023. Hats off to all the staff who looked after us, special thanks to Martin, Hannah and Joey. The food was excellent, thanks Shanna, the touch of Caribbean went down really well! Great value for money too!! Would highly recommend to anyone. I had my wedding party in the Function Room at the New Inn in June 2023, it was the most perfect venue, its absolutely stunning!! I cannot recommend this venue highly enough, the staff were fantastic, from the booking, planning and serving drinks, everything was just perfect. If you're looking for a party venue you won't find any better than the New Inn!! :-)

It’s a shambles. They advertise 2 4 1 cocktails on a Friday. I wanted 2 different cocktails and was told I had to have the same. Fine no worries. Was then told I had more money than sense. It took 20 mins to make a pina colada and an espresso martini. The pina colada was undrinkable. First time I’ve been here in a while - I won’t be returning

Over the last 6 months I have attended 2 x company Pensioners lunches with over 100 people at each, with 3 courses plus coffee served at each. On both occasions, the service from Martin and his team has been brilliant and the food excellent. I look forward to returning later in the year.

Having been to The New Inn, Hayes on many occasions and been extremely happy with the food and service, our last visit was VERY disappointing. However, the food was not the problem, it was the service!! Drinks were ordered and we requested no ice in one of the drinks which arrived with ICE and no apology! Ice cream was ordered but after half an hour it hadn’t arrived. Had to go up to the bar to explain the situation and AGAIN no apology whatsoever and similarly when it was brought to our table NO APOLOGY!! Obviously the problem was with the staff. There was a lack of courtesy and customer service and the waitresses appeared devoid of personality. We won’t be lunching here again unless the service improves which had always been so good in the past. Such a shame…… more training definitely required.

Not been here for ages as it's always so noisy and with only a few people in on this occasion it was still noisy. The acoustics are all wrong! It needs sorting. We rejected this place for our staff Christmas do because of that years ago. Just popped in for a coffee to be able to sit in the garden on a nice day. Took ages to make. Small and not very hot. Lots of single males drinking and smoking. One guy came and plonked himself on our table with us and started smoking!! Unbelievable! Don't think we'll return!

Firstly, let's get this straight, The New Inn is NOT a Restaurant. It's a very noisy Pub/Bar that serves food. We had booked a table for 20 people, for an 80th Birthday meal and were told this was no problem. Yes, it was a Saturday evening, but we were not prepared for the amount of noise from the crowded bar. Our 'table for 20' turned out to be 4 or 5 random tables scattered around the bar area! My wife spoke to the staff who, in fairness to them, went out of their way to rearrange our tables to give us one table of 12 and one of 8, at the quietest (but still not quiet) end of the bar. We were all a little apprehensive about the evening ahead, but eventually settled in to peruse the menu. Our orders were taken and the two young ladies looking after us did a fantastic job of waiting on us. Our food arrived in good time and pretty much all together. Everyone agreed that the food was extremely good. The staff looked after us all extremely well and nothing was too much trouble. Despite the very loud atmosphere and the initial disappointment, we all had a great evening and everyone commented on the great food and brilliant customer service. My thanks go out to Aimee and Alex(?) - You did a fantastic job and we appreciate it. Now, would I go again? Yes, but not for a Saturday evening meal. We'll definitely pop in for a lunch or maybe a midweek evening meal, but never a Saturday evening!

Beautiful dinner friendly staff and nice place

I was told it was an Irish Pub, so expected to get a menu which included traditional Irish or English food. The menu was the usual European food as in most other places. God bless the Beef & Ale (or Guinness) pie, Bacon and Cabbage and Jelly and ice cream or trifle... instead of the same old same old that everyone else is serving, ie Sticky Toffee Pudding etc.

Always popular and busy on a Sunday, and it’s not surprising. The sharing roast lamb platter is excellent value and the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Light lunch at the New Inn. Had a couple of pints of Tribute. Bar person called manager over after drawing off what was probably the first pint of the day, in my opinion always good to pull the beer that has been in the pipes overnight before opening. Had a Cajun chicken bun, bit more spice required for my personal taste and slightly overcooked on one edge. Generally quiet and pleasant experience. Been before and will go again.

Ever been mugged at Christmas? I have, I came here today. Inattentive staff. Badly cooked, poor quality food. Ruined the day. UPDATE. What a pathetic, dishonest and petty reply. Tells you much about this place and how it's run. As you well know all lunches had to be paid in full at the time of booking, well in advance. The only bill that wasn't was the wine, which was covered by cash. We took over 25 minutes to leave the restaurant as my father is disabled and needed the toilet - surely plenty of time for even inattentive staff to notice any underpayment and stop us from getting away with such a grand heist. There was no row with my partner or between anyone else at the table. We were all in agreement that we would have eaten better at my father's nursing home (which would have been a first for anyone). No one was rude to any member of staff. We were brought up better than that. The simple truth is this was a cynical approach by the management to rip people off at Christmas by serving poorly cooked, bad-quality food. And if you want to carry on the lie about me not paying. You have my details. Take me to court. Now that is somewhere I would be very happy to see you again. Love that phrase, being honest; you've done nothing but lie. Shameless. This really is the review that keeps on giving. Please do read the rabid replies from Jo, to anyone who leaves a 1-star review. It tells you everything you need to know about them. Seriously worry about their mental health. PS. TripAdvisor are doing no such thing. It's just another deluded lie. And Jo, I repeat again, if I didn't pay, take me to court, call the police, or summon the fairies at the bottom of your garden - whatever is more real in your world.

Returned to the New Inn after not visiting for a year or so ..sadly very dissapointing, booked for a large group,,sat down at our table 3pm... eventually got our main meal at 4-30..and deserts at 5-30.!!! Lots of polite friendly staff hanging around but nobody seemed to be doing anything or know what they were supposed to be doing.. Food was Ok ...soup was delicious but Luke warm, never received things we ordered and it all seemed a bit hap hazard ... I don't think we will be coming back anytime soon

Went there for Parkinson Users - Group Xmas Meal. I think it's part of the Pub. It doesn't look that big. But did manage to seat about 40 of us, quite spaciously. Bar nearby. Clean toilets. I would recommend - to hold events there. Friendly staff. Only little negative point is - the food was of small proportions? Thanks.

I’ve been here twice, both times with work colleagues. Both times I’ve been told off about the dress code, even when I’m following the dress code and when other customers aren’t. Haven't been to the new inn for years food was ok a bit small for a working man like me atmosphere was good though service was good unexpectedly full bar but was served quickly so not bad in my book
