The best restaurants in Barnet London

The place has been designed nicely, on a Sunday night (order25), we ordered a burger and a curry, to burger came early and my partner food arrived when I finished my burger and rested for 15 minutes. However, the burger was smaller than it worth, the curry was decent size and I wish the rice or the Naan was included. To compensate their late presentation the kitchen was kind to give us some wings and kebab which changed my mind completely. Feedback for owner; you have beautiful place so better to have table service and get order on the table. If the burgers where decent size I would of give them a five star. Good luck

We had a family meal last weekend at this beautiful gem. They have such a great selection of dishes on their menus which is suitable for everyone. I had the Beyti which was full of flavour. My partner had the seabass which was so fresh and cooked so well. The mezes I have to mention was delicious. and if you are looking for a sweet touch to your meal their San Sebastian cheesecake (which is new on the menu) is exactly as the ones in Istanbul. Highly recommened.

We have been here several times since discovering New Jakarta a month ago and they have never disappointed. I first went for takeaway when my friend said she had the best chicken satay she’d ever had here! The menu offers more than enough options to please everyone (we’re meat eaters and pescatarians) and we have been through pretty much every dish (we go in a large group and we love to share) and each is just delicious! The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient, ensuring we’re happy throughout our dining experience. My only disappointment is that we didn’t discover them sooner. It’s great value for money, their lunch menu always enables us to bring loads of food back home because the portions are huge! It’s our new regular spot for special occasions. Thanks New Jakarta!

We both had calamari for starters, a bit over cooked and quite chewy Then we both had Spaghetti bolognaise with Veal in breadcrumbs. Half the veal was OK the other half was half was very chewy Would go again. We might have been just unlucky. It’s a shame though, we was really looking forward to it as it was recommended very highly.

22.30 for half box full of oil and other 17 for over cooked morning glory, really a scam, we gave them a first chance through delivery as the description and pictures looks nice but that is what we got. After called delivery to place a complain they said the restaurant denied the bad food and they didn't care at all, delivery costumer service said they will not do anything either, really a nice scam. Thanks for nothing and wish you good luck giving this service.

Apareció aquí después de un concierto en la casa redonda como hotel cercano. Gran cerveza elaborada en el lugar a un buen precio para Londres. Aunque grande este lugar tenía un buen ambiente y el personal era amable y proporcionó un buen servicio. Muy buena experiencia y volveremos.

Excellent food, very good presentation and extraordinary flavor

The food was so delicious and the service was really great, too! We tried Paneer Tufani, Garlic naan, peshwari naan which was so yummy and the quantity is good with 2 naans. Birthday cake is definitely worth a try. Overall quality and Quantity is very good.

The experience started as soon as you walked through the door. Rude banter to all of our group. We knew what to expect and our waitresses, Farah and Hannah were very good at their job. Laughed so much from start to finish. Loved the personal hats. Food tasty, chicken a little dry but apart from that couldnt fault it. We were the only group there which meant we had all the attention which I think I would prefer. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

First time at this restaurant and nothing but positive things to say. Service was amazing from when we were greeted to through our time here, really friendly and attentive staff. The food was really good! The meats were all cooked and seasoned perfectly and all really tasty. The plantain and aubergine sides are also not to be missed. Would definitely you recommend and try.

Great pub for watching football ⚽️ The staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice and relaxing atmosphere and a top pint of Guinness
