Beautiful food and exellent service. Quality time with kids in very nice atmosphere with Il Funghetto staff. Very friendly and attentive staff . Highly recommended

food was delicious. garlic pizza bread deliciously garlicky. Bolognese sauce very meaty and flavoursome likewise the lasagne. escalope Milanese was tender and tasty. pasta al dente . top meal all round

The spaghetti seafood salad lacked variety in seafood, making the dish quite dull and uninspiring. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Great food, so tasty and reasonable plus lovely staff. Can be a bit quiet in the week as it's a huge restaurant but this is a family favourite for us. Pasta is yummy.

Food was nice, we felt the mushroom risotto was undercooked. But the lasagne was spot on! Service was good and staff were friendly. The atmosphere was okay but very loud and echoey for a wednesday night, we couldn't quite relax.

Really nice place with good friendly service, great food and nicely positioned for a pre theatre meal for us. The meals are large but we managed desserts , obviously 🙄 The wine was good and all came in at under £30 / head so great value too. We had Italian sausage which was superb

Incredible restaurant. We tried different Italian dishes and all of them were fantastic. The staff were great especially our new friend Davide and price was Ok too, I have to say probably the best Italian restaurant I have ever been .

Nice place and decently sized portions. Food is lovely and flavourful with loads of different choices The aranchini would have been better with some sort of tomato sauce but was tasty nonetheless. The linguine with artichokes and a pesto cream sauce is definitely worth the try as this was especially nice! Service is good and the waiters are all very nice and friendly!

We have had several meals in the restaurant and it is a favourite casual dining spot for us. This evening, for the first time in many years, we couldn't visit in person but still fancied a pizza so ordered on-line. Delivery was swift and delivery driver friendly. Would definitely consider ordering on-line again ....but we also enjoy the friendliness and friendly ambience of eating in the restaurant. As for the pizzas ? Lovely, as always. Thank-you.

The food was good and tasty. It was my second time there and I have tried the Pizza, lasagne, and the risotto. What caught my attention in both occasions was how unfriendly the staff weren't. Taking the orders was an unpleasant experience. Not too keen to give their suggestions on the menu.Never smiled once. Obviously underpaid or totally unhappy in the job they are doing. It may not seem to be important but for that reason I just wanted to pay and leave. For that reason

What a delightful Italian family restaurant. The food is lovely, the staff are very friendly and the place is buzzing with large family groups. The best bit though is the price, very, very reasonable. We will be going back again soon.

Pizza is great! The service was good too, but the place was too noisy. The music was too loud. However, I strongly recommend the Tutta Carne!!! We ordered the Capricciosa too, and it is not bad either. The ice cream is affordable but nothing special.

Great food, definitely recommend! I tried pizza with Gorgonzola and oyster mushrooms, and parpadelle with mushrooms, and both were amazing. My partner was happy with her food as well.

I used to love the food here. Second time ordering and quality has gone down. I would go as far to question hygiene. Whole garlic cloves chucked into alio olio without chopping the dirty ends minimal effort over cooked pasta using cheap quality linguine instead of spaghetti. Where is the passion. Pizza is dry and mediocre. Mushroom oyster pasta I used to love it drowned it buttery oil. Sad. Will stop ordering.

The food is ok, reasonable quality and similar to what you would get in any Italian restaurant. However, the staff are the most miserable, unhelpful and surly lot I’ve come across in a long time. It doesn’t hurt to smile and make your customers feel welcome.

Had Pizza and pasta , both were great

Pizza was cold and dry and hardly any cheese, mushrooms dish tasted weird and not very fresh.

Very nice food, usually until I discovered that the pizza cheese contains rennet (linings of calf stomach) which is terrible for Hindus like myself. One a happier note, the gnocchi is amazing and sauce is niche

One pizza was outstanding, however, our tuna pizza was drenched in tuna water - soggy, fell apart in seconds. Definately not drained!

Stopped in for a quick bite before a show at Arts Depot nearby. Pasta was well prepared and very tasty, not overcooked as some places regrettably do. Service was great. Will return for a less time restricted meal.

Had an amazing dinner. The owners are super nice and very friendly. The Caprese was amazing and fresh. The Spaghetti Bolugnese was amazing and it felt like I was back in Italy. Hope if you have time I would hope in and try it. Before I go home I want to try the pizza next.

I went for dinner at this restaurant yesterday with my family and unfortunately I had a disappointing experience due to instances of racist behaviour (especially to Indian customers) from staff members who were serving food. It's disheartening to encounter such behaviour in your restaurant. I believe in fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all customers. I hope the management takes immediate steps to address this issue and educate their staff on the importance of treating everyone with respect.

Very bad behaviour from staffs who served food to us.. they are treating people according to racially which is very disappointing.. the food was served like serving to a homeless people. No smile or courtesy from staffs..never wanna visit this restaurant anymore and i strongly recommend people not to visit this restaurant..

Great Italian restaurant with a solid menu and the food was great. I went with a party of 12 and we shared a range of starters and had mains, alongside some pints of beers. I'd deffo recommend this place, and I would go again 💯

Underwhelming experience. Felt like I was eating in a community hall. As a couple of reviewers have said not authentic Italian food. Waiters are miserable.

Been coming here for years with my family. Food is always good, just disappointed the veal and chicken Milanese portions are much smaller than previously, I hope this can be rectified.

Last time ordered from here it was delicious, it looks like we ordered the best dishes as we changed it up this time and found the food very average, the bolognaise was particularly unspectacular

This is our favourite Italian... great variety of tasty food, generous portions (always have a doggy box) and good selection of wines..everything ordered is exceptional, cooked how advised and, despite always being busy, served with charming Italian style and charisma..nothing is too much trouble. Can be noisy at times, because it is always busy when we visit, usually on weekend evenings.

I have been dining in this restaurant (as well as having food deliveries) for the past year. The service has always been efficient and friendly, and the food (pizza as well as other dishes that I have tried) have always been tasty.

Nice atmosphere but food is 50-50

We came here for a family meal in a large group of about 20. They had plenty of room for other guests Nd there is free on street parking nearby in the evening. The food we ordered was generally very tasty and all of it was freshly made. We had a lovely time and will visit again soon. There were plenty of vegetarian options as we are all vegetarian but we manged to order such a variety of items including Bruschetta, Pasta, Pizza, Gnocchi

We went to celebrate our mother's 87th birthday. The food was excellent and the portions were large, and the staff were very attentive. I can thoroughly recommend this place

A very local, down to earth, friendly restaurant. Tasty food, good service, decent prices. One where you pop in for a relaxed dinner after a busy week. We had a lovely dinner and will be back.

This place is definitely owned by italians, and of course the menu is adatped to local taste so not "real autentic" italian cousin but that's normal. Unfortunately, as Italian myself, I have to say that the pizza was not that good.

For the price of the pizza, this was an upsetting experience. The dough is awful, arguably the worst I've had from an "Italian" restaurant. No clue why this place has such high reviews, the food looks and tastes like ready meals on a plate - think a new chef is needed here. There are far better Italian restaurants in the area at the same pricepoint within a 5 minute walk, so I'd recommend you go to those instead for pizzas and pastas. The waiter was sound, and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars.

Been here dozens of times over best part of 20 years Great service Great pizzas Great pasta. Generous portions. Good value Worth booking on busy nights - but you can normally walk in - and on busy nights it can get noisy. Don't think we've ever had a bad experience here. Did I mention great service? Unlike most places in London the staff aren't students filling in between A levels and Uni - they've been working here for as long as we've been eating here. There's always a smile, a warm greeting and a handshake.

I’ve had better frozen pizzas. Lighting and atmosphere is trash too. Do not recommend.

The Place Itself is nice and staff and costumer service is good . The food is good however only if you eat in because every time I've ordered online (3-4 times ) the care for the food is just not there the pizza manly are made rushing and toppings are missing or added randomly . Great tastes, great flavours. Unpretentious local neighbourhood Italian pizzeria with flavoursome daily specials and clean tasting (ie not greasy or over seasoned )classics eg escalope milanese, fegato, scoglio seafood pasta and more. Desserts are fresh, tirmisu is light yet full bodied, the best kept secret is dipping sponge fingers in marsala whipped zabaglione. Restaurant can get busy at peak times.... an obvious statement but worth the relatively small waiting times. Oh... yes.. ITALIAN pizzeria in neopolitan style, (NOT to be confused with pizza claiming to be Italian via american style DEEP FROZEN DELIVERY cheese on toast... THESE ARE PROPER HAND ✋🏼 STRETCHED PIZZAS!) Oh, and the pastas... classics with unctuous sauces, great gnocchi and the favourite.... scoglio seafood pasta or prawn pasta (with a dab of chilli 🌶 oil 😋 for me)

This was our second visit to this lovely reataurant,we returned with the same friends,as we all love Italian food! This time we shared the garlic pizza bread and main course I had the lemon chicken,served with roast potatoes and salad,washed down with a glass of wine. The only downside of this restaurant is that on Saturday it is very busy and very noisy!
