Nice place and decently sized portions. Food itself is nice, nothing majorly stands out in the food which is a little shame but it is still nice. The aranchini would have been better with some sort of tomato sauce but was tasty nonetheless. The linguine with artichokes and a pesto cream sauce is definitely worth the try as this was especially nice! Service is good and the waiters are all very nice and friendly!

Had Pizza and pasta , both were great

Very nice food, usually until I discovered that the pizza cheese contains rennet (linings of calf stomach) which is terrible for Hindus like myself. One a happier note, the gnocchi is amazing and sauce is niche

Came for the valentine We ordered two pastas and one pizza We are never going to have a meal there Waiter was professional but the food was terrible.

Food was average nice Italian, but too noisy to have a decent conversation for a party of 6.

Stopped in for a quick bite before a show at Arts Depot nearby. Pasta was well prepared and very tasty, not overcooked as some places regrettably do. Service was great. Will return for a less time restricted meal.

Had an amazing dinner. The owners are super nice and very friendly. The Caprese was amazing and fresh. The Spaghetti Bolugnese was amazing and it felt like I was back in Italy. Hope if you have time I would hope in and try it. Before I go home I want to try the pizza next.

Very bad behaviour from staffs who served food to us.. they are treating people according to racially which is very disappointing.. the food was served like serving to a homeless people. No smile or courtesy from staffs..never wanna visit this restaurant anymore and i strongly recommend people not to visit this restaurant..

I went for dinner at this restaurant yesterday with my family and unfortunately I had a disappointing experience due to instances of racist behaviour (especially to Indian customers) from staff members who were serving food. It's disheartening to encounter such behaviour in your restaurant. I believe in fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all customers. I hope the management takes immediate steps to address this issue and educate their staff on the importance of treating everyone with respect.

Great Italian restaurant with a solid menu and the food was great. I went with a party of 12 and we shared a range of starters and had mains, alongside some pints of beers. I'd deffo recommend this place, and I would go again 💯

Been coming here for years with my family. Food is always good, just disappointed the veal and chicken Milanese portions are much smaller than previously, I hope this can be rectified.

This is our favourite Italian... great variety of tasty food, generous portions (always have a doggy box) and good selection of wines..everything ordered is exceptional, cooked how advised and, despite always being busy, served with charming Italian style and charisma..nothing is too much trouble. Can be noisy at times, because it is always busy when we visit, usually on weekend evenings.

I have been dining in this restaurant (as well as having food deliveries) for the past year. The service has always been efficient and friendly, and the food (pizza as well as other dishes that I have tried) have always been tasty.

Nice atmosphere but food is 50-50

We came here for a family meal in a large group of about 20. They had plenty of room for other guests Nd there is free on street parking nearby in the evening. The food we ordered was generally very tasty and all of it was freshly made. We had a lovely time and will visit again soon. There were plenty of vegetarian options as we are all vegetarian but we manged to order such a variety of items including Bruschetta, Pasta, Pizza, Gnocchi

We went to celebrate our mother's 87th birthday. The food was excellent and the portions were large, and the staff were very attentive. I can thoroughly recommend this place

A very local, down to earth, friendly restaurant. Tasty food, good service, decent prices. One where you pop in for a relaxed dinner after a busy week. We had a lovely dinner and will be back.

This place is definitely owned by italians, and of course the menu is adatped to local taste so not "real autentic" italian cousin but that's normal. Unfortunately, as Italian myself, I have to say that the pizza was not that good.

For the price of the pizza, this was an upsetting experience. The dough is awful, arguably the worst I've had from an "Italian" restaurant. No clue why this place has such high reviews, the food looks and tastes like ready meals on a plate - think a new chef is needed here. There are far better Italian restaurants in the area at the same pricepoint within a 5 minute walk, so I'd recommend you go to those instead for pizzas and pastas. The waiter was sound, and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars.

Been here dozens of times over best part of 20 years Great service Great pizzas Great pasta. Generous portions. Good value Worth booking on busy nights - but you can normally walk in - and on busy nights it can get noisy. Don't think we've ever had a bad experience here. Did I mention great service? Unlike most places in London the staff aren't students filling in between A levels and Uni - they've been working here for as long as we've been eating here. There's always a smile, a warm greeting and a handshake.

The Place Itself is nice and staff and costumer service is good . The food is good however only if you eat in because every time I've ordered online (3-4 times ) the care for the food is just not there the pizza manly are made rushing and toppings are missing or added randomly . Not happy with it , It's a shame . Ps I'm Italian really liked at the beginning but quickly fallen off from my go to place for Italian food and delivery

Unpretentious local neighbourhood Italian pizzeria with flavoursome daily specials and clean tasting (ie not greasy or over seasoned )classics eg escalope milanese, fegato, scoglio seafood pasta and more. Desserts are fresh, tirmisu is light yet full bodied, the best kept secret is dipping sponge fingers in marsala whipped zabaglione. Restaurant can get busy at peak times.... an obvious statement but worth the relatively small waiting times. Oh... yes.. ITALIAN pizzeria in neopolitan style, (NOT to be confused with pizza claiming to be Italian via american style DEEP FROZEN DELIVERY cheese on toast... THESE ARE PROPER HAND ✋🏼 STRETCHED PIZZAS!) Oh, and the pastas... classics with unctuous sauces, great gnocchi and the favourite.... scoglio seafood pasta or prawn pasta (with a dab of chilli 🌶 oil 😋 for me)

This was our second visit to this lovely reataurant,we returned with the same friends,as we all love Italian food! This time we shared the garlic pizza bread and main course I had the lemon chicken,served with roast potatoes and salad,washed down with a glass of wine. The only downside of this restaurant is that on Saturday it is very busy and very noisy!

Chi dice che il cibo è buono evidentemente non ha mai mangiato cibo italiano! Unica nota positiva le porzioni abbondanti! "Pappardelle gamberoni e porcini" senza porcini(ma con altri funghi) e senza sapore "Linguine pollo e pancetta" con un litro di panna che non sanno di nulla "Mozzarella in carrozza" Cibo congelato di scarsissima qualità ( ha più sapore un Sofficino) tra l'altro affogato nel pomodoro "Calamari fritti" Mollicci unti la panatura cadente con un retrogusto di detersivo "Bruschetta con funghi e gongorzola" Mollicce e senza sapore

Such a lovely and friendly restaurant, the best Italian restaurant outside of Italy

Did not pay for the service charge because how many times we called the waiter to ask for the bill. The restaurant wasn't busy and they have a lot to chat in the floor rather that doing check back for us. They just gave us a menu, take an order and not even bother to check back on us. And also I asked the waiter to remove of the service charge and he changes his tone of voice in a rude way!. Its not busy that time.. the waiter have more time to talk than giving a customer a good hospitality!. Hopefully the management do something about it.

I've been coming to Il Funghetto for 7-8 years with my family. It is one of my favourite Italian restaurants (as an Italian) with such lovely friendly waiters. Never had any problems with service or food. You don't always get waiters that make you laugh, but here at Il Funghetto Davide never fails to make me or family smile, which makes us feel welcomed. Highly recommend their Ravioli. The spinach one is one of my personal favourites, which I've ordered on multiple occasions. Price wise, we normally order starters' main and dessert, so per person, it is 25ish each, but with the massive platter portions, it's always worth it.

We came for dinner with another couple. We had the garlic pizza bread,mushroom risotto,chicken kiev. very good food.

Atmosphere wasn't the greatest with a bland customer service. The spaghetti seafood salad did not have a variety of any seafoods making the food dull. Overall, I would not recommend it.

I went to funghetto restaurant in north Fincheley with my friends and I had the best dinner so far this year One of my friend ordered ravioli and they were fresh and tasty I ordered linguine allo scoglio and calamari and the seafood was amazing All my friends were satisfied especially cause the staff has been very polite and friendly making the service and the dinner in general the best experience to spend a night out with ur friend

Ordered a veal liver which was inedible..texture like rubber (came with 4 pieces of potato wedges). Look at the pic and decide if this is worth £19.95! Small portion of chips £3.95. Tried it for the first and last time. Absolutely avoid.

Delightful Italian restaurant in North Finchley. Serving authentic Italian food in a nice setting with outdoor seating available, friendly and welcoming staff. I would thoroughly recommend the Ravioli Al Funghetto as well as the garlic pizza bread, I would definitely return.

The Chicken on the Caesar Salad is like cardboard, couldn't eat any of the pieces. Not the first time. Are the chefs professional chefs or just people you hire desperate for a job? Do you not care or check what it is like for your customers before sending out? to be honest I wanted to give zero stars but wouldn't let me post.

The quality of the food is unbeatable. A proper italian restaurant with authentic food. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. Everytime i have the chance to eat here i would get my food very quickly, even if the place is very busy. Delivery service is also at the top. The quality of the food is what makes this place unique.

A fantastic Italian pizzeria in London, North Finchley which makes you feel you are in Italy. Exceptional food served with Italian style. Cozze is pretty special but pizzas are second to none. It was a bit noisy when we were there because of a birthday party but the noise completed the friendly atmosphere. We will return!!!

Great atmosphere with tradional music played in the evenings, or at least over the weekend. The food is delicious and great value for money....highly recommended. The waiting staff are very helpful and accomodating. Good place for party bookings...downside is the toilet is only accessible via a short flight of steps.

We had a lovely time at this place. We were 4 mums and 5 children ages 2 to 10 years old. We didn't book but they made a space for us. The staff are very welcoming and made us feel welcome as soon as we came in. We were offered high chairs which were a good height so the 2 and 3 Yr old could eat at the table. The atmosphere is vibrant which I like. Very Italian. The food was lovely. The chicken Kiev usually comes with potatoes but I exchanged it for fries. Everything came out hot and fresh. The pizzas and garlic bread were very nice. My 10yr old had the pesto pasta which she said was delicious. I had the tiramisu which was awesome. Homemade. Thr mascarponi was so delicious. I was stuffed until I couldn't move! The bill was £160 for 4 adults and 5 kids which I thought was fantastic value for money. Would definitely return.

without a doubt the best Italian restaurant in the N12 area. they have a great service, first class service and phenomenal food and pizzas with a delicious sauce. and also a team that makes you feel at home. I recommend it and even for company parties they have great service and good portions of food.

Had and excellent time here, came for mine and my daughters birthday and from start to finish it was amazing, the food was delicious and the hospitality was even better never had to wait to long for food or drinks had a magician who did tricks for all the children in the restaurant and the same magician played songs on his accordion and not just boring songs you don’t know but current songs you could sing along too. Would definitely recommend here and me and the children will definitely be back soon.

Good food. Excellent service. Large, boisterous group but we were all fed very calmly and well.

Cold and noisy environment, not very friendly staff, food ok, prices ok but I would only go back as a last chance place.
