Very friendly staff, we had a really lovely evening- 7 of us for a family dinner

We had an amazing dinner with my family. My kids love their food, the staff were warm and welcoming. Tasty food and the atmosphere was inviting. Fantastic!

Lovely place. Cool decor, starters, main course and dessert lovely.

My children took me here for a late Mothers day gift and we loved it here. The food is lovely a bit pricey but good quality. The only downside was being sat near the bar and for someone to come and sit at it and be practically on top of us. Mostly great though

Starting off with food, fresh and delicious. We had some cocktails and I can say that they were the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The place itself was beautiful with roses everywhere. I would 100% recommend this restaurant.

We recently went to Le Rose mid week for my daughter’s birthday, we were looking for something special and new to us. The restaurant was busy so this was a really nice surprise, the restaurant decor is lovely, service was excellent and the food was really tasty. They even made her feel special by servicing her a happy birthday dessert! A lovely touch to our evening. The cocktails were also on point! Probably the best Restaurant we’ve been to locally in a while. We will definitely return when we have time xx

We went here on Mother’s Day for lunch with our children. Our 3 year old kept standing up around his chair but otherwise behaved excellently. Towards the end of the meal the manager was so incredibly rude to us about our toddler getting up from the table. He was absolutely disgusting and aggressive. I have never been treated like that, ever. If they don’t want children in the restaurant they should say. I had three young children with me and they all ate their meals and respected the restaurant. Please don’t go here with kids. The manager clearly hates them. When I said we won’t be back, he said ‘I hope so’. The ultimate bad management.

Excellent evening meal. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday; but didn’t know where to go and saw this restaurant wasn’t too far. So we popped in, and we’re so pleased we came here. Lovely deco, great service-staff were friendly and polite and the meal was excellent. Seafood risotto was delicious and dessert to die for! We would certainly return. Thank you for a great evening.

Excellent service... exactly as I'd want it. Always there but never intrusive. Atmosphere very good too. Food very nice... would definitely recommend. Deserves 4.5 stars really.

THE WORST food I have ever tasted. Ruined my Valentine’s Day! NO seasoning not even salt or pepper, everyone in the restaurant was fighting over the salt pot! Waitresses brought us the wrong food every course and didn’t know where anyone was sitting … I’ve never tasted such bland food I didn’t know it was possible. Chicken in cream … they just poured cream on top of dry white chicken. Really distressing. Definitely not Italian chefs. Maybe they think we English don’t have taste buds…..???? Insulting !!!

Went there with our families to celebrate my sisters and mine birthday. The restaurant is very charming inside. The menu is varied to suit all tastes. I had the truffle ravioli which was delicious. The cocktails and wine list is very good and yummy. My family had pre arranged a birthday cake which was presented by the staff. They played special music and made the moment very special. We all had a lovely evening there and are planning to return with friends.

The restaurant as a whole was very appealing with good atmosphere and music. We had a very enjoyable evening and would definitely go again soon.

We went to this restaurant for lunch and totally enjoyed the experience. The food was very good and Davide was a friendly and knowledgeable host. The restuarant is stylish and well decorated. We will certainly return soon! I only wish we'd been sooner. At last a classy place to eat in Barnet.

Le Rose a restaurant that will amaze you in every way 🥰 the Beaty of this restaurant inside is unbearable 😍 The food is absolutely delicious 🤤 the prices honestly the cheapest ones around I’ve been in years and the service is absolutely the best one ever! I absolutely loved the atmosphere and service in this restaurant. It is very cosy in the front, but it extends to the back and even has a beautiful garden that will be lovely in the Summer. It is great for a date night or if gathering with friends. Food was very tasty and the dessert was very delicious. I had salmon fillet and tiramisu. House wine was very good too. Highly recommend it and definitely will be back.

We had our work Christmas party last Friday, and it was delightful. Ben and David were exceptionally friendly, ensuring they accommodated all our requests. With three attentive waiters serving, our pre-booked event for 40 people went seamlessly. Organising the event was effortless, thanks to David, who promptly implemented every request, including menu changes and decorations. The food including vegetarian options was enjoyable, portions were satisfying, cocktails were beautifully crafted, and the festive atmosphere added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Had Christmas party Prebooked and ordered food. Took very long Food cold Portion very small Ordered cheesecake,but nothing like cheese cake Few people unwell next day .. Paid £40 just for penne arabiatta,brusetta and cheese cake. Drinks separate. Only few staff though booked in advance, should have been prepared .

Have had several superb meals here and also held a party for my husband’s birthday. Everyone at Le Rose was amazing, they really went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Thoroughly recommend.

Classic Italian flavours, with a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

The service was really good but the food was mediocre at best. Went with family for a birthday meal recently and they weren’t impressed with the food. The pizza I had personally tasted like the kind I’d have from a Kebab shop after a night out. Wouldn’t go here again.

Went to La Rose for lunch with friends on Sat afternoon and wow was we impressed. This restaurant is so nice . The layout and furniture very plush and comfy and made a welcome change . We all felt relaxed and at ease . We choose from the set menu and the portions and food was excellent . We all had desert too and again a good range of options to choose from . Service was great and the staff and gentleman who served us were very accommodating to my friend who has som mobility issues. 10/10 La Rose we will be back again !

Best restaurant in town fresh pasta very nice deserts

Went when it first opened and the food and the service were excellent. Went a second time a few months later and did not have the same experience. One of our party received the wrong meal, another had the right meal but half of it i.e the side was missing. The food was lukewarm and the drinks took an age to come out. It’s a shame as our first experience was very good. May try again in a few months perhaps it got to popular to quickly and they couldn’t keep up.

Fantastic food, fantastic service great atmosphere

We are always looking for restaurants local to us in Potters Bar and are delighted we’ve found this one. A typical Italian menu, with a few extras, and good service too. Beautifully decorated and far longer than it looks from the outside. Outdoor seating too. We will undoubtedly return.

I ordered a salad and a pasta takeaway and they forgot the salad! The portion size of the pasta was very small for the price. Shame because the pasta tasted nice and fresh.

We visited Le Rose for my daughter's birthday. Staff were welcoming and friendly but let down by the poor quality of food. Pizza was undercooked with a poor standard of toppings. Really disappointed and unfortunately won't be returning.

Came here with work colleagues (table of 10) and all of us were quite disappointed overall, this place has a great potential but unfortunately is badly run. Took 47 mins to get starters and drinks, even though there were only 2 tables busy in the restaurant. Waiter is quite rude and defensive and has no customer service skills. Starters were lovely, especially fritto misto and the cheese platter. Mains were ok, desserts - awful. First time I saw tiramisu which was like a soup, apple pie was inedible and smelled like a dirty fridge. Hopefully they can do something to turn it around, otherwise it will be shut within a year.

I came here for a leaving meal, with around 20 people on a Tuesday. David allocated the rear room for our use, which was perfect and meant we didn't disturb other diners. Each guest had a choice between the a la carte or party menus, with many opting for the latter. The food was excellent, with many commenting on this and we had a great evening. Thank you to David and the team.

We were a party of 6 and had a wonderful dining experience, and I will definitely recommend it to other friends. The menu is varied in choice and well priced. All of the food served was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Bathroom facilities are fabulous.

I was there on a weekday. The service was amazing. The waiters were very helpful with their suggestions and we had a 3 course meal. Splendid!! You must try the lobster pasta!! And the deserts were 10/10

Our waiter David was just fantastic!!! He was very attentive, super sweet and polite which was just lovely. The cocktails were amazing and the food was good.

Nice friendly people providing good value and nicely cooked Italian food. I enjoyed the chicken milanese and the my sons had really well cooked filet steak. Reasonable price and we shall definitely return.

Appetizers were wonderful but I was a little disappointed with the mains. Especially the chicken breast which was tough and dry. Speak to the host about it and he was very polite about the criticism.

Worst Italian food we had ever!!! Food is bland. We ordered four dishes, all under-seasoned and very disappointing. Given there is no technique in the cooking, and the cheap ingredients used, the food is way overpriced for what it is worth. Our bill came to £54. The calamari tastes like rubber. Side dish broccoli was boiled in water with dry cheese sprinkled on top. King prawn linguine came with tiny shrimps that don’t taste fresh, the pasta is drowned in a soupy sauce Truffle risotto is the worst. It looks like puke. Imagine water, truffle oil mixed with rice. You can see water separating from the risotto.

Lovely place but unfortunately the food came out at different times, so we ate separately. Ribs were lovely fell off the bone but side carrots and potatoes were cold….potatoes (2 new potatoes sliced) were bit burnt. Ordered 3 seafood linguine but only one had muscles and crab (the one that was served late!! Ordered tiramisu… looked fancy in a coffee pot but it was all cream !… not the tiramisu we all know and love. The lemon dessert was lovely.

This is really one of my favourite Italian restaurant in London. The convulsing of its location, food, ambiance, service and quality is unrivalled. All dishes are excellently prepared and served beautifully by the excellent waiting staff.

Came here for Valentine's but for a birthday! The staff were so accommodating and even though it was a birthday and everyone was out celebrating as couples, we still felt so welcome. The food was great and reasonable too - will be back!

Really a bit mixed feelings after I have visited this place with my friends. A beautiful restaurant decor but very cold, and this also applies to the service. Average food. I really regret to come there to be honest. And some other restaurants are not failed restaurants at all.

Generally good Italian food, on a fine dining level at fine dining prices. Happy with mains, seafood risotto, pasta and mixed grilled seafood (but you need to order sides with the seafood dish) as none are included. Don't order the tiramisu if you expect a 'dessert' it is more of a drink and is presented in some fancy vessel. We were told the tiramisu is an original recipe and this may be the case but some it would have been good to know it would be served as some kind of 'liquid' as its £7 a portion! Expensive for portion size. Staff are attentive though.

Great restaurant overall. The place is beautifully decorated. The food is very tasty and resonantly priced. The service is also excellent in particular the manager David who went way & beyond for my birthday celebrations. Definitely recommend this place!

We like supporting local businesses and I'd like it to be successful but we prob wont visit again. We had painfully slow service in an almost empty restaurant and the food wasn't up to par. On entering we were immediately told they needed the table back in 2 hours despite it being empty and the service being so slow it took 2.5 hours for bread and mains only. I get there is a turn arpund on a table but there is a way to say we need the table back that's polite and professional. We took friends and honestly i was just embarrassed about the food. The butter was rock hard and unspreadable. The risotto was undercooked and grainy. Spaghetti carbonara was inedibly salty. We like salty food and all agreed on this. An almost full plate was sent back and it wasnt queried by either front of house staff or the chef. The prawn linguine had 3 correctly prepared prawns the rest either had tails left on or weren't de-veined. Again the deveined were left with tails and on plates and it wasnt queried. The service was slow and weirdly stiff / formal / unfriendly Wine - both bottles we had were decent but at the price point they should be Tldr: could be nice but they need a much better chef and some front of house training to charge these prices. Odos savoro and botanika are all FAR better choices

This is my 2nd visit from Finchley Memorial Hospital, walk-in-centre. Very enjoyable, nice atmosphere with delicious food, excellent service. David the manager looked after us very well. Thank you will be back soon!!!

Very nice restaurant, nicely decorated. Good service and nice menu selection. We shared a grilled aubergine starter, a fungi pizza, and 2 sides (salad and broccoli). The pizza was a little plain, but I suppose I did order a less exciting one, everything else was great. Definitely going back

Lovely place and lovely food. We really enjoyed the Black Angus Tomahawk and Lobster Linguine. We were seated immediately and even brought bread and butter on the house to eat whilst we made our decision. My daughter ordered pizza Capriciosa and were reasonably priced + a good size. For dessert we had shared tiramisu and they serve it in a special way. David the manager recommended us a Spanish wine called Macan Rioja and it was amazing. He is an expert in wines. We had a nice family time and we looking forward to go again as soon as possible. Service was friendly and fast. Recommend

We visited in early on a Fri evening. We were shown to the back room, we liked the decor......very opulent. The staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Our food was very tasty. I had soup and pasta, my husband mussels and seafood pasta. We enjoyed it the atmosphere was nice. We would go again

I just moved to Barnet two months ago and I’ve been crossing almost everyday in front of this restaurant on my way to work. Tonight I decided to try SEAFOOD LINGUINE for which I payed £19. The pasta was super yummy 🤤 the best seafood pasta I have ever ate in Uk. I’ve ordered take away because I was super tired and couldn’t wait to go home to sleep but I have to tell you that inside the restaurant was super cozy and a nice atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and try more dishes. I’ve also looked on the Instagram page and everything looks so delicious. Thank you Le Rose. So happy to have such a beautiful restaurant close to my house with such an amazing pasta. See you soon.

The menu, food, service was amazing. We enjoyed each course. the calamari starter was fresh, the prawn started was also delicious. For the main we had the margarita pizza which was finished in record time. I had the seafood risotto which was full of flavour. the portion sizes were just right. We had the Chocolate soufflé and tiramisu for dessert and they were freshly made. the alcohol free passion fruit mojito was also very good. We had a lovely Sunday lunch there and are delighted there's a new restaurant to choose from in Barnet! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of everything on the menu.
