The best restaurants in Barking and Dagenham London

Today, I went to Red Rooster Dagenham to pick up food for my family, and I can’t believe how poor the customer service was. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this — I’ve been here before and hoped this time would be different, but sadly, it wasn’t. The same disgusting customer service. It was truly a horrible experience. I can't recommend anyone to go and eat there. When placing your order, they don’t even listen to you properly, and the staff are incredibly rude. Avoid this place if you value good service!

It's a shame, this place use to be great. In recent times however, their portions have become smaller and smaller, Currys fill up just a third of the container, and Biriyanis about half of their container. Adding insult to injury there is hardly any meat in these anymore. Shrinkflation and price increase are not justified. I've spent thousands on this place, £30-40 take away each week, every week, for years. I've been getting less and less over time. I'd advise to look at alternative spots for better value, taste and service. This place is just not worth it anymore. Some of these other recent positive reviews are also very questionable and suspect.

Just ordered and was server by Muskan. They didn't give my gravy and that was the only reason why I choose kfc over other food shop. I didn't know until I came home with my food. They took forever to take my payment. Just gave the food in a box. No straws were there. Didn't offer sauces or even a thank you. Was rushing, and all the staff were giggling and talking in their own language. Dont have minimum level of service. Not recommended.

Lush fish and chips for a FIVER in BARKING!!!! It's Barking delicious. I spotted this board saying fish and chips with a can for 6.20 which is cheap so no harm in trying. It turned out to be a fiver because I didn't want the can. The good thing is that the fish was fried to order so I had to wait. It was a small piece of fish that delivered which I'd rather have than something not nice but cheap and a big portion that I wouldn't want to finish. Everything was perfect in the sense the oil was clean and there was no oil lingering on my fingers. Fish was tasty and flaky with skin attached while the batter was light and moreish with an appetizing colour. It was definitely comforting having some good fish and chips which really made my day.

Every time we have ordered from here it's been incorrect. Missing items again! Do your job properly.

Food always hot more then what I can say about a lot of places

I bought box meals and forgot to buy the gravy. I asked the staff member if I can pay the till. He said no order on Kiosk. I was really surprised and disappointed that he didn't want to serve me on till even though on Kiosk you have a option to oay by card or cash. Then you have to come to till to pay if you chose option for cash. He didn't have a name badge which is a norm at this branch.

Beautiful fresh desserts. well presented and delivered with care. Excellent

What a waste of money. I ordered a vegetable curry and pilau rice and popadoms. Order arrived minus the rice. Phoned and told them and they then sent the rice together with an extra portion. Curry was the most bland I have ever tasted. Will certainly not be ordering from there again.

Been a well established business in Barking for a number of years and there is a variety of items to choose from curries, kebabs and grilled food. Every time I’ve visited there is a generous portion size with exotic mouthwatering flavour. The service is exceptional especially from the young owner who has continued the legacy from his father to ensure this business is a success. Will definitely be returning again soon, this KO is the best in the UK and is worth a visit.

Food was nice. Was disappointed tat I asked for cheese and turned up with no cheese.

We had a lovely meal here for our lunch with personal recommendations right for us. We have tried Chicken Tikka and Veggie delight. Both were delicious and staff was so polite and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I would highly recommend my friends to try at this place.
