McDonald's in Barking and Dagenham

This is an absolute disgrace of a restaurant. It took 20 minutes to receive my order. The language barrier was ridiculous . I ordered a big Mac meal, I received a filet of fish, I got my order the second time but through another customer who was given it outside in the car park, he then returned it to me opened. I asked for money back then I got my order. Very rude staff, can't believe the experience... It was like something from the benny hill show

Even in spite of their increasing prices, McDonalds staff have lost their welcome. Their one sauce per meal rhetoric is the only thing important to them now. After being served a shy portions of chips with a price tag of £3. The only thing left to do was laugh. The women at the counter are rude and arrogant. They talk to you as if they hold the keys to heaven and hell, when really you just need some barbecue sauce. I’ll never come to this branch again, ill drive a further 12 mins to go to the next one. Do not recommend, go see for yourself.

Mouldy wrap! Absolutely disgusting! Unwrapped the box to eat my BBQ wrap, only to see green spots all over the bread. Absolutely revolting. I've never washed my hands quicker. Never going there again.

I ordered 4 items through the app for delivery and when i got the order 1 item was missing. I tried to call McDonalds a lot of times and nobody was picking up the call. Very BAD service. Loss of money. My order number was 346 and the order was placed at 20:05:00 on 25/04/2025. It was not the fault of Uber as the packing from McDonalds was not opened. Very disappointed.

I use to be a big fan of McDonald's growing up as a kid, even went through the stages of Happy Meal -> Quarter pounder -> Big Mac. But the food they prepare today is nothing compared to what it use to be like, don't care what their adverts claim... No way all their restaurants serve organic unprovessed food. As for most McDonald's, no ones smiling when they take you're order, a lot of them are rude, probably because they're miserable. And dirty, maybe they clean the tables down a few times a day, which is disgusting because a lot of children are running around, touching things spreading germs. Not blaming the children, it's what they do. Parents, should learn to teach their kids some manners.... Won't even start on the toilets in these places. Oh! And their advertised pictures of the meals they serve look nothing like the photos! You can always tell if something has been freshly cooked, cooked from frozen or being kept warm until someone orders it. But it's cheap and easy food, never satisfied after having McDonald's... Actually last time I ate at this one, 2 years ago and got food poisoning. So thanks for helping me lose a kilo!

Ordered food, parts of the order missing and arrived stone cold. If I didn’t have a baby I would drive there and give them back there rubbish. I’m fuming 😤 this is fraudulent and the driver took over and hour.

Basic McDonald’s food and service as expected

Placed an order ..which at first was accepted ...then 15 minutes later was cancelled, no reason why and no one called me to offer a substitute or to say why it was cancelled. Tried to call them several times but phone just kept ringing out to voicemail. Extremely poor customer service !!

McDonald's is a solid choice for a quick bite! The menu has a lot of classic favorites, and the service is usually fast. It's great for grabbing a meal on the go, but just keep in mind it's not the healthiest option out there. Perfect for when you're craving something familiar and easy ✌️❤️

Just ordered a Mc Donald's Breakfast I asked for no sauce and my bun had tomato sauce scrapped out of the bun, disappointed

We came in today with a very large order and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Everything was packed nicely and super organised and they helped us out to the car! We are very thankful for the good service.

Never had any issues here at the times of my visits. The place has always been clean, a decent amount of parking and food is generally good. Any problems with food in McDonald's is generally replaced without hesitation.

I would like to know what time is the earliest I can park up and come into the restaurant and sit down to eat on a Monday morning?

Nice place in general, good food but service is a bit slow and not accurate. We had items missing from order after a pretty long waiting time.

Why do Maky D's not double check takeaway orders. I'd say 1 out of 10 orders is missing something which is only evident when you get home and dish up. Really grinds my gears.

Unfriendly staff, dirty dining area

This used to be my go-to McDonald's when I was in secondary, but I stopped going because of how bad the service was. This was until they made improvements and I saw the staff changed their attitude and this is now my go-to McDonald's again. The Grimace Shake was really good, the Wrap was perfectly cooked and the lettuce inside the Wrap was consistent, and the atmosphere of the place is very pleasant.

Food was nice, staff were helpful. Lots of parking was available but so many delivery driver were keeping motorcycles here and there.

Considering every time I order they get it wrong and I end up with nothing I asked for then trying to get through to them is a nightmare and their mail box is full shows they never answer the phone

I had the worst experience at McDonald’s on Ballards Road, Dagenham. I ordered a plain double cheeseburger and it came out horribly burnt. The quality was awful—dry, overcooked, and just completely unappetizing. I couldn’t even finish it. Definitely not what I expected from McDonald’s. I won’t be coming back to this location again. 1 star.

Disgusted. My order never arrived, only the drinks and not the food! If it was the other way around I wouldn’t care much but I’ve basically payed £15 for 3 drinks!!!

I've had multiple instances where drive-thru orders were missing one or two items, suggesting intentional shortchanging. When I brought this to their attention, I was met with poor customer service. Drive-thru times are consistently long (10-15 minutes), and the food often arrives lukewarm. I wouldn't recommend using the drive-thru.

mcdonald’s is perfect for a quick, cheap meal, especially seeing as it’s open 24/7. service is fast but not always 100% correct. the food is quintessentially fast food, but tasty; the limited edition menus keep it fresh year round. the parking lot is quite small, but it’s rare to not find a spot, however the limited space does make it quite tight to navigate. the drive thru moves efficiently but can back up when busy.

Lovely place, but double-check your order via drive thru. Mistakes do happen during rush hour..e.g you order hot chocholate u get coffee. Aside this lovely staff.

Atrocious!!! Always less or half a bag of chips, don't even offer sauces for nuggets. you ask , and the staff make out like they are losing commission to giving sauces for nuggets and no extras for the other 3 packs of chips. So dry chips, it is then, I guess.

For months now almost seems they have got rid of everyone that knows the job properly and have all new workers there that don't have a clue food is always cold you get more chips in a happy meal then a larg chips theres not been 1 time in the last few months iv been there and them having my order correct it's always wrong I wouldn't recommend this McDonald's to anyone

Extremely poor quality of service, not providing the correct dips and putting sauces in food items that were not asked for. I don't know if the staff at this establishment think ketchup is the only sauce that exists, but when asking for sweet and sour sauce ONLY, and no ketchup in our burger, we received a plethora of only ketchup and that same sauce in the burger. It might be beneficial to retrain staff and open their eyes to the world of such condiments as mayo, curry sauce or perhaps even sweet and sour sauce, but that might be too much to ask of them

Every time we have ordered from here it's been incorrect. Missing items again! Do your job properly.

A reasonable size restaurant with place for kids parties buy is always quite busy. Staff is polite and well trained. Overall a tidy and a very good store.

Very well kept, clean and tidy. Food was fresh and hot, only complaint is the atmosphere is very sterile now.

Will always get your order wrong or miss items

So I'm not really experienced with tech. I had vouchers to use up which I've taken off food I've purchased. Half went through, half showed already redeemed after I got messed about on self service. Slim manager with brown hair and beard refused to give his name or assist even though he said its already been redeamed whilst giving half my order to me which he also said was redeamed. Waffled and said he can't help with the other items. I haven't even used them before. Customer service was lacking. If I had used them before why would I have them to hand in. Won't be using this venue again. Have preciously messed my orders up which I never complained about but now it sadly seems like just a trap to get customers without care.

The car park and Drive Thru layout is a bit confusing, particularly at night. Last time I was there, 2 cars in the Drive Thru queue had collided, and the drivers were holding up the rest of the customers ! More lights in the car park might help

Joke of a McDonald's, staff couldn't give a f... about the work and leave u sitting there for ages while they talk to eachover. Food is always revolting and cold by the time it gets to you. Never fill up things outside of the counter because they can't be bothered. Nothing new though this McDonald's is known for being terrible , just a shame they never actually try to make it better.

Worst McDonald ever!!! I had to wait 30 minutes For a cheese burger and a mayo chicken and my kids were crying because they were hungry and I had to go three times to ask about the food. Very unprofessional and unorganised

McDonald's wad good and it was clean

on delivery they are great ,my daughter has allergies ,and they read what I've ordered and deliver it .on take away they usually get it wrong and I have to go in and get it corrected.no bun means no bun .also no cheese doesn't mean 1 cheese instead of 2 .

The food isn't up to scratch, big Mac wasn't hot enough also couldn't add extra sauce as an option also the chicken nuggets are very bland no flavour a disappointment! If I'm getting fat off this food I want it to be delicious lol.

Didn't like the burgers much, and the chips, they just not what they used to be. But that's something I noticed in other macdonalds, unfortunately.

Would someone please explain why my partner was refused access to the disabled toilet by a worker named Kerry? After explaining to her that not all disabilities are visible and asking for her name, was he then free to go. Someone should tell Kerry to stop stereotyping disabled people as just people in wheelchairs.

Ordered and waited nearly an hour and 40 minutes baring in mind we live about a ten minute walk from it,delivery driver changed 4 times as order was still being ‘wrapped’ absolute joke no staff answering the phone either so NO customer care given…will NEVER order from here again or any other McDonald’s in the future

It's a standard McDonald's with a huge wait because it's not actually fast food now.

Quite surprised at all the low scores although it does seem most of them are for McDelivery and drive thru. Quite like this McDonalds, service is a little slow but that's OK. The restaurant looks clean. The lady doing the the deep clean today was very thorough. Think most of the staff are friendly especially any contact I've had with one of the male managers who seems eager to please. Food is standard McDs so no issue there. This beats the worst McDonalds in the area, Cook Road, into a cocked hat. The only gripe I have here is the parking. Take today for example. There is ALWAYS a McDelivery scooter parked on the yellow hatching of the disabled parking space and both spaces were taken up by McDelivery cars although they did move when it was indicated we wanted access. Annoying when there were plenty of "normal" parking bays.

Expensive, the pickles are thicker than the burger. Back in 1996 they used to sell hotdogs BRING THOSE BACK AND THE McRIB then ill be happy.

My order was 2 toffe latte and the staff give to me coffe latte. I said to him and he made another 2 coffe latte. Again wrong.😠😠😠😠.

Got our pick up order wrong and missed off 2 x Double Cheeseburgers. Tried calling and no one bothers answering the phone. Luke warm food at best, nothing tastes fresh, just tastes like its been sitting around too long. Don't bother.
