Red Rooster in Barking and Dagenham

Today, I went to Red Rooster Dagenham to pick up food for my family, and I can’t believe how poor the customer service was. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this — I’ve been here before and hoped this time would be different, but sadly, it wasn’t. The same disgusting customer service. It was truly a horrible experience. I can't recommend anyone to go and eat there. When placing your order, they don’t even listen to you properly, and the staff are incredibly rude. Avoid this place if you value good service!

My first time trying and was surprised of how the chips and the chicken fillets were really fresh and delicious definitely recommend trying it out. The chicken wings were okay but nothing too special.

Bought family meal 8 pieces chicken and chips. And is very shame on you. Putting 6 pieces and two wings. And you guys cheating like this not first time. This is last time I'm visiting your shop. Shame on you

Terrible food hard chicken cold dry chips not worth the money at all

I went into the shop at Dagenham Heathway red rooster and asked for a portion of popcorn chicken the cost was £3.70 and when they gave me the box I opened it and there was legit 7 pieces of tiny chicken bites in there. Red rooster is a con. £3.70 for 7 little tiny chicken bites. This is not on. Someone needs to go down and check the store out. It’s filthy in there too. Flies flying round and a terrible smell too. Get health and safety down to the store asap. Cos the health criteria there is absolutely disgusting.

I buy a pizza but the pizza is not good in taste. The pizza is average not good so, recommended you not try the pizza.

They did wrong by us and then made us have to tell them off to get our money back, as for some reason we had to pay before receiving our food(not something they've ever done before!!! They did their best to not refund the money as I believe they didn't know how to do it on the card machine. We eventually got a cash refund.... Will never spend any money there again... Caribbean Fried Chicken is better anyway, the flavour goes all the way through to the bone, so you don't lose the flavour when you remove the skin.... AWFUL PLACE &STAFF!!!!

First of all the food is good. Secondly the online prices differ to the prices in store, whats that about? Also on two occasions my order has been incorrect. Food missing from deal ordered. Overall not great.

I ain’t gonna order from Red Rooster anymore. I always ordered family deals from Red Rooster which include 6 wings or a 1.5 litre drink. The drink was always missing in my order. It happened in few occasions. They promised to give me drink next time. They kept doing same. I don’t recommend them at all. They are deceiving customers. Their foods are horrible as well. Chicken pieces are greasy and unhealthy. In a word rubbish. There are many fast food shops around which are far better than this rubbish trash.

Used to be a regular customer here. Overtime the quality has gone downhill. Their Pizza's and Quarter/Half Pounders are still good but I've stopped getting anything else. I've been charged 10p for bags that I've never received on online orders. I've been short changed a number of times when I've sent children for collection on phone orders. Last couple of orders on Pizza's didn't include dips (used to be 2 per Pizza when I started going here) Pizza Toppings have reduced from 5 to 4 on online orders (Just Eat) Online prices are more than shop prices. Best to order via phone and collect and make sure you count the change.

Only place I’ve seen where they charge £10 minimum on card . Ridiculous how they can even do it . Not good business at least a £5 minimum this £10 a joke

I ordered today through uber eats and I asked to do not send me spicy wings and you send me spicy. I am allergic for spicy products. You do not consider customer needs at whole. This shows that you are not professional. I will not order any more from you.

The food wasn’t cooked properly and it had blood inside. Next day I got food poisoning and I vomit for 2 days. I think the chicken was expired or very old.

I would give it 0 stars if I could absolutely disgusted with the chicken 3 wings and chips for 2.50!! The shop has low hygiene! I recommend Top Dixie Chicken a nearby chicken shop!!

One of the most worse peri peri chicken I ever tried. Bought whole chicken I had one bite then thrown to the bin. It was tasteless flavourless only it was looking yellowish colour that is all. Owner should go around & try some othe place like griller in barking station. Disgusting food never again.

Omg its my first time visiting this store, customer service was good but omg the food was revolting!!!! The chicken was smelling so bad like it was old and gone off, i can't believe it how can they sell off chicken smelly chicken to customers, i ate one and rest in bin! Completely disgusted by the whole experience. Will not visit again and nor should anyone who is looking for a decent shop to grab chicken and chips :/

Horrible customer service and very lazy staff. They told me to wait for 10 mins for the hot wings but i ended up waiting for 40mins. Some of the food had already been Packed earlier so when i came home the chips were very soggy, i had to put them all in the bin. Do not recommend.

really disappointed. Ordered a lamb kofta. But instead got a microwaved lamb role in a rock hard pita bread. I will be taking this up with trading standards as misleading menus are unacceptable. Finally the guy on the phone didn’t realise I speak his language when he passed over the phone he said. Speak to this dog about his order. Is this how you treat your customers? I shall never order from here again. The saddest part is I visit them regularly

Had grilled chicken - was below average, some parts of the chicken not cooked properly. Staff appeared very disorganised and all I’ve the place.

Worst place to eat in Dagenham by far! The few times I have tried it the fries were old and refried a number of times Chicken burger was too salty and the bun was as hard as a rock

Bought a £2.70 'Chicken kofta wrap', it ended up being literally 2 mini seekh kebabs that you buy from the corner shops that costs £4 for 20.

I've been here twice and both times the food was not so good. The chicken was way too salty.

The food was absolutely terrible. The chicken wings were joined and hard to seperate, the breadcrumb was soggy, the coating on my drumstick was very soggy and easily fell of the chicken. Worst of all was the chicken fillet burger, it had a horrible taste, and again the breadcrumb was soggy and tasted really bad. The chips had barely any potato in them. The customer service wasn't great either, the staff who served me had a rude tone and attitude, and was very stingy with the sauces when I asked for sauce, only gave a sachet of ketchup for my whole meal.

Went there to get chicken. Asked for 6 bits at £5.99 and was paying by card. Charged me £6.00 to which I pointed out, that even though it only a penny more the price is £5.99. Instead of correcting it the person argued it saying it only a penny and it on card. Guess this is a new policy as I thought they had done this to me before which is why I made a point to check price. It is only a penny but if they doing this to everyone it adds up.

Awfully presented food. Staff are filthy! Dirty clothes and appearance. So slow too and very hard to understand.

The staff is very friendly but unfortunately the food does not taste that great. The tower burger tastes cheap, the bread bun falls apart, the chicken patty, a watery Cheap replacement for a actual chick fillet. But the worst part is the chicken wings with are so small that it worried Me if it was really chicken. It tasted slightly uncooked near the bone and had a unpleasant smell. I was really disappointed by the food only to end with a belly ache in the morning.

Ordered delivery through online website, easy to use, no problems Arrived 50 minutes later, so slightly later than quoted All of the food was cold, not good, had to microwave 3 spare ribs missing, when i phoned the manager he said they didnt do ribs anymore, so he said he just put extra chips with the order? Also ordered 2 cokes and they sent pepsi Plus chicken shish was very spicy and my partner couldnt eat it And chicken nuggets were tasteless The only good things was the spicy hot wings and spiral fries once they were reheated Overall disapointed

ordered chicken shish kebab, they gave me kofta kebab, when I noticed my order wasn't right I told them, instead of apologising and changing it or explain they ran out or whatever, they tried to argue that i was wrong, in the end i demanded my money back, they refused until they noticed I wasn't going anywhere and wasn't going to back down but before I left the guy said "you people always complain" that was the first and only time I was there, probably racist or something

Second time We have used this establishment and can only say worst the second time ordered plain chicken burgers and were given zinger burgers my teenage son has food intolerance and was severely sick after eating here. The staff are rude and also tried overcharging me .Avoid

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered family bucket to which I was told would take 40 mins for delivery. 40 mins later called to find out will take another 40 mins. I explained I live 5 mins drive away only, to be told then I should just come collect it then. How rude. If I could come collect it I wouldn't have asked for delivery. Stupid people.

Part of our order was missing, they said they would bring the missing items, they bought back some, left half. Couldn’t be bothered to ring again, as it’s pointless trying to explain what’s wrong, the fillet burgers were awful, the salad yellow, order d from here yesterday, today I’m ill! Never again. Late delivery, food not hot, items missing. Called the restaurant to advise chips were missing, staff laughed and told me the driver has gone home, but next time he will see what he can do. When I asked for a refund on the missing item I was told to contact just eat. When I spoke to an advisor at just eat, they spoke to the restaurant themselves and was advised that there were no items missing! Luckily, just eat care about their customers and have resolved the situation with a refund. After all this, the food we did receive was average at best.

My food came, it was late and the food was cold. They tried over charging me. Not everything I ordered was there. When I phoned up, they said they would bring it. I waited for twenty minutes, but it didn't arrive. So I phoned them up again, they refused to send it and told me. If i wanted it that much, I should go and collect it. I shouldn't have to go and collect it, it should be in with the order. He was very rude on the phone. Never ordering from them again. DISGUSTING ATTITUDE!!!

I called up the restaurant and asked for my chicken wrap to have no lettuce, when it came it had lettuce and was cold. Pizza was burnt. They didn’t put no drink in with my meal nor ketchup in which I had paid for. They obviously do not read orders properly as this has happened to me a few times.

So I ordered and selected a specific time for delivery. Then I found out it got delivered 1 hour early when I was out with my kids. Called the shop he said he had 10 orders and sent them all out. He raised his voice and did was not apologetic but did offer to deliver again but that's just wasting food and time. So food was obviously a little cold, especially chips. There were supposed to be 3 grilled chicken but got 2 grilled and 1 fried. Got spicy grilled wings which were the size of my thumb and I didn't choose spicy. And both of the grill burgers were salty and all the grilled chicken were burnt, had charcoal. Oh and they raised free delivery by £3. Don't think I'll order again.

Food quality was meh. Fried chicken and popping chicken tasted weird. Chips were nice but cold. The restaurant forgot two items in our order so we called to ask them to deliver as we paid for them, they seemed unbothered to deliver and sighed down the phone and simply said ‘oh, it’s here’ and continued to say there would be a very long wait for the missing items. Disappointed. Still haven’t received the items so they made no effort, considering we literally live two minutes away.
