Griller in Barking and Dagenham

I hate barking with a passion. I’d go so far in saying I’d love Putin to use the place as target practise. It has zero kerb appeal and is full of the dregs of society. However, this place is the shining beacon of hope in an overall disaster of a town. Food is delicious, I’ve never had a bad meal there. And a good price.

This place is so cheap for such good food. price is almost 50% cheaper than everywhere else that does peri peri!

Their grilled chicken is extra delicious! Seasoning goes all the way to the bone not just the top skin layer. If you get the chance to go there, get extra hot grilled whole chicken! Thank me later. And their service is good too

After a very long time, I had a decent peri peri burger and chicken. Compare to other chicken shop price was bit high but overall good food. Atmosphere was nice and tables were quite clean. I always like wash hand before eating and this restaurant do provide washrooms so its plus point. Highly recommended and will visit again.

Busted a joke about my joke portion of chips on how it was like a kid's portion, and the lady replied "yes 6 wings and chips. I think my English was too fluent for her so she didn't get it

This is a lovely place where I have Dinner most Friday Nights as it’s next to Barking Station. Wide variety of food to choose from such as Nando’s & KFC style Chicken, Pizzas, Burgers, Chips etc. Food is very nice, of a large portion & well presented on a China Plate plus proper metal Knives & Forks to make it feel more like a Restaurant than some cheap takeaway. Very reasonable prices plus very clean with nice seating areas.

The taste is there but the chicken pieces are tiny! No leg pieces were provided in the 8 piece option i ordered.

this place is a disgrace, i would never recommend anyone to come here. all the food is frozen. if your looking to get ripped off and have a awful lunch this is your place.

You should have "mini bucket" dish over there. In a less price you will have a good portion and testy chicken wings and pieces (10 Pieces big, two chips and drink).

Good value for money. The Big piece chicken is the winner here as it tastes similar to KFC which I'll give them credit. However it's only getting a 3* as the fries were mediocre and the spicy wings were below average. Would come back though

Wanted to order lamb chops at the restaurant, the girl who took the order was lovely but the chef at the back didn't want to cook the lambchops and was laughing, telling me they ran out..evethough the girl was saying they have it. Terrible service

Came here today with my boyfriend hoping for a nice meal. Instead we were faced with undercooked skinny fries and a burger with NO FLAVOUR. I have also been on the toilet ever since, feel like the world is falling out my a*s. I am not impressed and would not recommend. Customer service was appalling and the workers sat in the back playing music the whole time. No customers when we walked in, should’ve been a sign for us to head back out.

Ordered the value box of chicken pieces and chicken wings for the first time. The flavour is there but it was just waaaaaaay too salty. Could not enjoy it at all. Also, found it a bit rude to give two back pieces where there's barely meat on it. I don't mind any chicken piece but to give two back pieces I thought was taking the piss.

I'm really disappointed by ordering food from the restaurant. Today 10th march around 8.15 I orderd some food by phone...there was a girl who was collecting order.she wasn't concentrating when I was ordering. I was saying something but she was saying something else.then when I collect the food she didn't give me right change even the fries was missing.

This restaurant is awesome and roomy, the meals was delicious and the prices were very economical. quick, efficient service and very amiable staff. Highly recommended.

Horrible, Horrible Service! Do not ever order for delivery from this "restaurant'. Our family ordered a family Fare which is 10 pieces of chicken, 10 wings, fries and drink but what we got was 6 pieces of chicken and 6 pieces of wings with no drink. There was a price diffrence of a little more than 10 pounds between the two orders and the lady had the audacity to tell me to order chips if I want the rest of my food and drink sent to me. Not to mention that it was the wrong flavour than we had asked for and she was yelling at us. I used to come into the store but thats me done! Never again! Be careful of this restaurant!

They well deserve to be rated 5* ... I don't mind wiping my table some times as long as the food is delicious 😊 , also they're very polite. Me and my family keep finding excuses all the time to stay and eat @ the Barking Griller. Thank you .

Tried their takeaway a couple of times and found for the price not very appetizing in flavour. There are a further 5 chicken shops within a max 2 min walk from there serving different price points. Nandos higher end, KFC next door mid tier and opposite a few cheap independent chicken and chips places. Plenty of options for more value and taste.

!!Be careful if you have any allergies !! I have order a smoothie today, it tasted absolutely like pure syrup so I asked the lady how did you make the smoothie and she lied that there was no syrup, what if I’m Allergic to it I’m sure they don’t want to get sued. I haven’t received no money back, she didn’t make another one she just said ok if you don’t like it then go as well as she was giving bad attitude and the need to argue when I just asked how it was made. If the place would have a little bit of good customer service they could thrive in business as food is alright. Also all place is dirty tables are never being cleaned you might find few cockroaches on the floor. Disgusted by the lady staff member rude lier. Disgusting. I hope management will take the feedback will teach their staff how to make smoothies that don’t taste like 100% syrup.

Thats my local grill place and i love it...chicken is yummy and wraps are fresh only their chips smells old sometimes thats why am giving them 4 star,but overall is not bad at all

i love my grilled food and griller has so many healthy options. i usually have the grilled chicken, but i thought id try the fried style burger and it was much better than chesters and dixy. i was very impressed at how tasty the fried style burger was

Tasty decent food well priced. But table needs regular clearing and staff need customer service training. As you can do a take away it serves its purpose. You might stop going to Nando's after a visit to the Griller.

Never purchase the 2.99 chicken biryani as it is very bad in taste and no taste whatsoever ever better to buy the biryani opposite the station at Kebabish. I was very upset with this taste and texture of rice!! Avoid at all times!

Awful customer service. The first impression of a business is the most important. This restaurant needs to train their service staff on how to properly welcome a customer. The lady taking my order lacks basic customer service skills. While looking away doing something else, she greets with a disinterested and slightly rude ‘YES?’. No smile, Is that a way to welcome a customer? What a shame. Zero marks for service. That same staff was eating chicken near the tills while I waited my order. Very unprofessional. I ordered one of their burgers, it took over 10-15 mins to arrive. For a burger that is very slow and poor service. Mine was the only order they had at the time also. There’s a lot of loud talking in the kitchen while my food was being prepared, several men and women talking very loudly in a foreign language. Again, not professional and very unhygienic to be opening mouth so much around food preparation areas. The other girl on the tills was talking directly over the food tray to announce a customer’s order. Terrible. Even though the burger finally arrived and it tasted fine, the lack of customer service ruined the experience. Please train ALL your staff in this restaurant.

Worst experience ever, fillet burgers where awful, dry, tiny and burnt. I wouldn’t say it was a breast Ofer at all!!! Looked processed! The popcorn chicken for my little girl was burnt and dry, chips where old and cold. Waste of my money. The lady was rude and didn’t even try to understand my genuine upset! However another member of staff gave my daughter warm and. It burnt popcorn. Avoid they really don’t care. Go next door to KFC. I can’t believe I walked out of their to try these guys out 😡

Food was horrible. Floor is filthy hasn't been clean in a long time. Ordered a kebab meal and was told once I took it back up that it was frozen then put into the microwave!! Man was cooking loads of chicken and putting it into freezer clearly to microwave when ordered. Avoiddddd!!!

Never again... bought my food and asked to be eaten in. I received my food in boxes for take away. I told the staff again that I am eating here but she keeps watching her bollywood shows and told me to sit down and eat from the box.... Food was disgusting which makes it even worse. Salad was old and chips was even worse. NEVER AGAIN .. Don't even try, it's not worth it!!!

Right next to barking station so it is good for local commuters. I found the chicken briyani was decent, the rice wasnt as good as i expected however the chicken was delicious. Service was fast. I reccomend it to commuters who have spare time.

Stranded in Barking due to train issues and being very hungry, this is the first place I encountered so decided to give it a go. It's supposed to be all grilled, so a but healthier than similar places and the taste was good - or perhaps I was just very hungry?! All in all, it did the job!!

I was going home and i wanted something to eat, i went to griller wile i was odering they were very friendly, I don't eat spices and i asked the member of the stuff and said no problem, I got the food very spicy, I went to the counter and told them it is spicy and thy started to argue is not spicy and i said ok no problem and left the food on the table and went home for fare more better food. I am in this business for 25 years and this was the worest i have seen no one asked why i left the food on the table. I will never go back there even for free. Customer service the worest ever i hope they will learn for they business!

Amazing food atr affordable prices. I wouldn't say its a superb ambience but a very good option to have a quick meal after a long working day. Very clean and basic environment to have a nice meal. Quick service too

Extremely rude staff. Would not want to serve me when i sat down waiting for my good for 10 mins. Called me over while the very rude waitress was on the floor and made me get up to get my own food. Foods misleading to the pictures. When ask same size of size on pic, was asked £2 extra. No salad given in meal and was charged £2.50 as well. Staff rude as hell.

Biriyani is nice here, we ordered few times, and every time it went well. Food is tasty, they are extremely fast to deliver and a good varieties are present. It is a value for money also. The ambience could have been more restaurant like, which I feel is not, and hence I always prefer take away!

This restaurant offers grilled food at reasonable price, the taste needs a lot of improvement. The cleanliness needs to be improved.

Had home delivery they left rice out. We called explaining we had someone that was allergic to chips and that rice was their meal.We didn't want money back we needed meal. They never turned up. We rang back to be told "driver has been stopped by police". Outcome hungry and no money. I'm NOT HAPPY!

Although food is not bad but you have to wait ages to get your food. Usually, i try to order in advance. May be they were best halal pizza maker in Barking but now they are not doing anymore for last few months. I can recommend this place if you have time👍

Griller chicken is exceptionally good, they offer 3 levels of heat through from mild to hot, it is extremely tasty, great quantities and because it is grilled not fried it is also much healthier, never greasy.

Good service and a clean looking restaurant. However, poor quality food. I ordered a chicken burger - cold bun with an tiny chicken piece in a gigantic bun.

It's too bright, too loud, full of plastic, but it was quick and the pizza was great - the base was just right, and the toppings nicely melted - price good too.
