Queens Fish Bar in Barking and Dagenham

I've been ordering from Queen's for years as I live locally. The staff are great and the food is about what you would expect from a fish and chips shop. It's tasty enough and does the job of filling you up. The small portion of chips is a very generous portion. I would actually call it a large. That's how many you get! Unless you are ordering for about 3 different people then there would be no need to order the large portion.

Just finished my shift fancied fish and chips so went here.Staff very freindly,had to wait while it was cooking but well worth it,the fish was gorgeous,he told me next time phone my order through and they will get it ready for me to save me waiting around.Got to be said I was more than happy with everything goint to make this my local.Thankyou for a lovely dinner.

The food arrived quickly by Uber Eats & was piping hot. I ordered fish fingers and chips for £13.80 and was disappointed the 'fish' fingers were actually mashed potato with very little fish. Very expensive for what was essentially fish flavoured croquettes

Place is a joke Donna meat out of a old tin like rubber..says 8 pound on the bored and got charged 9.50 saying ohh price went up...scum bags

I have been to the shop I have paid 10£ for the meal but when I asked to add the drink he said that you have paid for wrap and chips you didn't mention that you want a meal the drink was included in 10£ but he said if you want it pay more. they are like hidden thieves

The best Donner kebab in Dagenham. Only problem is that the chilly sauce needs to be more spicy. I will be back next week. I've also had the fish and chips and they was cooked while I waited.

Just visited on Thursday 9th March at 18.30 to order a large lamb donner, the guy working there had attitude for no reason. Not gonna waste my money there when the service is that appalling from just ordering my food. Will go somewhere else, thanks.

Ordered 2 Doner kebabs tonight. Meat was over cooked or its cuts from this afternoon. Pitta bread was hard like it was out of date. Won't be ordering from there again as it went in the bin.

Delivery took more than 1.30hours just for one fish and chips and curry sauce. I am never ordering from this place again. After 1 and hour they have cancelled the order. This place needs to shut down asap.

After an hour cancelled our order, no explanation why and especially after an hour!!! Literally such a joke, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Life wasters.

Food wasn’t cooked properly, found pubic hair in my burger and when i told the staff they got extremely rude about it and done nothing about. WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND

Never had a problem with the food when ordering normally comes within 30 minutes and is lovely and hot.

Chips are moulded together the fish was covered in oil and it was cold Shame normally nice

Just picked up a small portion of cod and chips for my mother, both the cod and chips seemed huge and the cod was very tasty

Absolutely terrible service , waited over an hour and 20minutes for a delivery. Called the restaurant twice was told driver on the way waited 20 mins still nothing.Called back again for the same excuse and phone was put down on me. Children waiting so cancelled as got to 9pm and refused to wait any longer. Very poor customer service.

One of the rubbish burger I've eaten from them call Meal 9 and online it shows the price £5.30 and they charged me £8 for that empty rubbish burger there was no cucumber no tomato no onion just single leaf of latus really disappointed and same with my wife order they charged her £1.50 extra plus made fries with old oil.

Second delivery in a row with food missing. Let it go the first time because we have been ordering from them for years. Second time told them we wanted a refund and to collect the food as it's not on making us eat half a meal cold. Turnt up over half an hour later and with the missing food and told us there was nothing wrong with it being cold and we can eat it! Refunded after arguing we me! After years of ordering we wont be ever again, really gone downhill.

Just don’t understand why that woman is so rude! Won’t be ordering from them again.

It was a bad experience as soon as the food arrived as the delivery man was very rude and had the cheek to literally chuck the bag of food on the floor at my feet. When I said to him that he could have just handed it to me he tried to claim that he has to place on the floor. If that’s the case then he should have been wearing a mask and should have placed the food on the doorstep instead of standing directly next to me and then chucking it by my feet. After that we then open the bag to find all the food and wrapping was saturated in oil. The chips tasted like they were reheated, the fish was soaked in oil, the burger was extremely greasy and the mushy peas were watered down. We are extremely unhappy with the service and will never be ordering again and will never recommend anyone else to order again either.

Ordered and paid for at 8pm called 9.pm was told it's on the way he was Very rude on the phone told him to cancel order then turns up at 10.45 pm told driver to take away make sure you pay cash don't pay before not easy getting money back won't if not happy with service

Absolutely rubbish . Had to wait 90 mins when told 45 . Wrong items and soggy food . Never use these as got attitude when rang up to complain.

Numerous items missing from order adding up to over £10.. then no answer when tried ringing them about the issue. Disgusting customer service. Annoyed is an understatement.

Best in Dagenham. Sadly the last 2 occasion I have been in there the chips have take a nose dive not cooking them for long enough. Just have to find another shop after going there for years.removed 4 stars

Ive been ordering from here a while and call myself a regular customer.I have a mobility issue and the fish bars to far for me to walk to so when i order, i normally order for a delivery! I would also like to say that the owners know who i am when i call up.My last delivery was for a chicken shish but when it came it was pink inside and wet.It was clearly under cooked.I called the shop to inform and to my horror,was told by a woman that i was a liar,the food was cooked and not to call for any future deliveries as i would be refused.Disgusting....😲....She needs to be trained on how to speak to customers ...i was appalled.

As far as I'm concerned it is the best chip shop around. Fast delivery. Tastes great. Highly recommend.

Best fish and chips on dagenham, I have tried faircross/horse sea and few more, none of them have this lovely taste some times I’ve got them oily and with bones but never happen with queens fish bar, thank you
