Queens Fish Bar in Barking and Dagenham

Absolutely filthy and disgusting. Staff rude and food was awful. We asked for a certain dish and they gave it wrong and this isn’t the first time now. Absolutely filthy and unacceptable. Doner meat full of fat lumps had to be chucked away. Telling us they have meat already cut in pot for the day. This is absolutely disgusting so it’s not even freshly cut. Food was stone cold when arrived too

Ordered 3x sausage in batter,3x saveloy and large chips.....we live a 2minute car journey from here yet all our food turned up cold..... won't be using again!

Beautiful food , lovely fresh cod , lovely chips . Beautiful fresh curry sauce , gherkins and chicken & mushroom pie. Large portion of chips was enough to serve three of us. Beautiful

Had a fish and chips from queens fish bar they did not skimp out on the chips very well salted and lots of vinegar just how I like it the chips was made to order the fish was old fashion none of that extra stuff trying to be fancy hitting the the spot, this is what I call a good old fashion British fish and chips will come again 👍👍👍

Lovely chips and salad, chill sauce weren't that great. Donor kebabs were nice just a bit oily at bottom of tray. food delivered nice and hot and 20 minutes early. Was happy with our meal.

First order from here and the portion were generous and quick, hot delivery.

The food wasn’t great today, the fish wasn’t fresh & the batter was soggy in parts and chewy in others and the fish was a bit chew too, the curry m tub was only 3/4 full, chips weren’t great either, very unusual for this chippy

Food arrived just about warm, the chip roll is waaaay over priced at £4.50 considering you only get a handful of chips.

Ordered large chips online that were £8 !!!!! When they arrived with other foods , there was just about enough for two people , I will ring this place to ask why ???? But £8 on chips !!!!! Expensive, usually happy but not this time

So I ordered my food, 45 minutes later, I called up to see how long it would be roughly, however when the driver turned up, he started raising his voice and shouting at me for calling the restaurant to find out what time it would be? I’ve very not happy, the driver was rude and got in my face, absolute joke

I got the message that the food was on the way 20 mins before it arrived when it’s a 7 min journey on maps

Food was decent fish & chips were 10/10 but will say their abit scammy when it comes to sizes, Small Cod & Regular Cod (Meal Deal 3) are the exact same size so guessing a Large would be too, the pot of chilli sauce was that small that about 3 chips dipped in & it was gone.

food needs better description, I ordered fish burger with chips, burger came caked in mayo and I don't like mayo so couldn't eat. chips were nice and also onion rings.

lamb shish not fresh,hard to chew,pita bred not fresh too.All food looks like 2 days old .Disappointed

I've been ordering from Queen's for years as I live locally. The staff are great and the food is about what you would expect from a fish and chips shop. It's tasty enough and does the job of filling you up. The small portion of chips is a very generous portion. I would actually call it a large. That's how many you get! Unless you are ordering for about 3 different people then there would be no need to order the large portion.

Food had probably been cooked sometime before and kept warm as the chips were tough and chewie as was the sausage in batter, we also asked for normal vinegar and received onion vinegar which no one likes.

Lovely Doner kebab and chips, chill sauce not so good, but was happy with food. and delivery was on time.

I found a couple small hard peices of grissel bone in the kebab and almost broke my tooth on it and it was an unpleasant experience while eating!

I ordered at 19:25pm and it took over an hour and 10 minutes to arrive, when it did arrive i was told that my food was already here when it was not, when i recived my food it was lukewarm at best and was very spongey. Not a fan of

Chicken was overcooked and very dry . The batter on the fish was overcooked

ordered food given time 1900 to 1920 phoned at 1945 told was on its way still waiting at 2000 is 2015 now been called and have said food was delivered which it has not feel let down this is second time with same place sorry but wont be using this place again

Just finished my shift fancied fish and chips so went here.Staff very freindly,had to wait while it was cooking but well worth it,the fish was gorgeous,he told me next time phone my order through and they will get it ready for me to save me waiting around.Got to be said I was more than happy with everything goint to make this my local.Thankyou for a lovely dinner.

Fish and chips were both just warm and tasted like they had been cooked yesterday and warmed up tonight. Did not enjoy.
