Subway in Barking and Dagenham

We had a lovely meal here for our lunch with personal recommendations right for us. We have tried Chicken Tikka and Veggie delight. Both were delicious and staff was so polite and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I would highly recommend my friends to try at this place.

Don't go there full attitude they are showing to customers. They are making reports to the drivers also after making them long. They are very rude.

Very bad service.they will take the order eagerly but will not provide what you asked for. Unhappy with the hygiene found long hair in it.

They need to be shut down I got stake footling sandwich and it gave me food poisoning I vomit twice in the night after eating this sandwich and gave me very bad stomach pains as well as diarrhoea I was sick for 3 days avoid at all cost need to sue them

Ordered food when arrived no tomatoes on salad, footling missing 5 items. Rang shop told them 4 times the problem tried to blame driver, bag was sealed so driver did nothing. Then after explaining again I was rudely as What's Your Issue? Disgusting way to speak to customer. My Issue was order not done properly. Will not go to this shop again.

Asked for ham and with salt and pepper, when it came the whole thing was covered in salt and pepper no ham . Never will be ordering again!!

Uber eats order, arrived the sandwich is ICE COLD. Literally ice cold. Not toasted or anything. Contacted the shop and asked. They said it's my fault for not saying to make it toasted?!? It's Subway never have I ever heard or seen anyone take a cold sandwich. I said there's no option showing if I wanted toasted or not. Quickly changing his words, it's my fault and they tell customers to make a note saying to make it toasted! Guy said my problem not theirs :/ Ridiculous and excuse making. You can see they have been stingy with the fillings but not the salad. Honestly a waste of £18 if I knew they do this then I'd just had a bowl of cereal at home.

I just came in to get cookies and when i ordered, the woman at the till gave attitude. I did not appreciate it. She asked me “youre just gonna get cookies?” in such an attitude and sighed. If you hate your job, i beg you just quit. it was around 5:12pm on the 1st of April 2024.

The staff are incompetent and can’t hear properly, absolutely no customer service and skimping on portions when it comes to the vegetables and sauce. If I could give it 0/5 I would, absolute dump.

Thrusday at 07.05 am we ask for a coffee but staff said, coffee machine not yet ready, need another 10 minutes!!!.

I had a terrible experience at this subway. Only one staff member was rude and unhelpful, staff member wearing glasses he was soooo rude he always misbehave other staff members are helpful. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve always enjoyed my subway wherever I get it from. I placed an order on the 2nd September at the Heathway location for collection, excited to eat my subway, I noticed the bread was much toasted than usual but I still tried it, it tasted burnt not how my usual order would taste and I also found hair in my food. I ended up throwing the food away. I complained through JustEat; where by their process states 48 hours. No one has gotten back to me. I’m highly disappointed about the service and no response.

Why do you not toast the sandwiches!? What is going on, every time I order my sandwich its not toasted and its cold. This time the cold drink was even wrapped with the sandwitch!

Man went to the next customer before finishing serving me, all the salad was going brown and the man told a toddler they was not aloud to sing inside the shop as they dont allow music. It was awful service, environment and unfresh

Very poor serve without cap in head. Its horrible. This bangali guy was very rude with me when i want to scan subcard. Its looks like, i am not getting my reward, if i am use my point, its going very bad for them but why???? They didn't allow to scan my subcard and told me, its not working. So whats the reason for buying food and getting point. I thrown my subcard on dustbin and i will never visit here. I am really upset.

Staff take their sweet time with your orders and are condescending when you ask simple questions. If you don't want to talk to customers, maybe don't get into a customer facing role.... Also, everytime I try to redeem points from the subway app they come of with creative excuses why I can't. They'll happily chat to the uber/deliveroo drivers though 🤷🏽‍♀️

Wrong order delivered nothing at all like what we ordered. Tried to contact them wrong number on ever site I tried so had to go to the shop waste of time having a delivery might as well gone up there, had to anyway

This has been horrible. Haven’t had subway in quite a while so decided to order some with someone else. The food took 1 hour to make 2 sandwiches and it got delivered cold and with a lot of missing items… the sandwiches was soggy and the nachos looked like dog food.

Ordered from uber eats today. First time trying subway and the food came with mold on it and was stale! A whole £20 meal had to go in the bin because once people saw my meal was mouldy no one trusted their food was fresh. Complete health and safety risk! Complained to ubereats and they only sent back £4.49 despite the risk to health and safety. Will be avoiding at all costs in future, knew there was a reason I've never tried subway!

Poor compared to other locations

It's located 2 doors away from Dagenham Heathway Station, on the left. This subway is very small, there is just enough room for a few people to stand opposite the counter and there is a small space to collect your drinks.

If i could give it no stars i would. Very horrible set of bengali men that thought i didnt understand what they were saying in Bangla. I wanted a particular type of bread that was new on the menue. The man said there was none left so i got the cheesey bread instead. Another customer came in after me and asked for the same initial bread i did. I could clearly hear the bengali man who served me saying there are very few left on the very bottom shelf. The other bengali man pulled it out and served the customer after me. I decided not to say anything at the time after a long day of work on a Saturday. But, i was appaled by their service. I will not be visiting this place again. I think its very rude when any restuarant workers decide to speak in their mother tongue. I believe its important to speak in English so that customers are aware and in the loop of their order.

Food isn't actually that bad, it's what you would expect from a fast food restaurant. One time I went there with my family and they were rude to my mum, but I went back there a few more times and the staff were more friendly. Sometimes there can be some secondary students causing a wreck though. I’ve heard that there was a fight that happened here and police were involved.

Good food, however the layout and lining up queue are a bit backwards.

Effective. It’s got good customer service and I came there at a 7:30 in the afternoon. The food is nice and tasty but I’m not going to give it five stars because during rush hour (4:00-6:00) it’d probably be crammed due to it being near the station. Lovely staff however, they were very nice. (big beef melt is godly)

A really small subway next to the train station and the main road. Quick service, nice staff. Would not recommend eating outside as there is rubbish everywhere and it doesn't look very clean. It is what it is, that's what you would expect from subway.
