I have been twice this food place bad experience cold and old food .

Had chicken kebab tasted awful, my wife had pick of the chicken. It gave her dioreha straight away. The chips was old not fresh.left it all chicken and the chips. I had lamb donner with pita. It was awful.left most of it, as it was uneatable. This used to be a good place but alas no more. Stay away!

As far as I'm concerned, the best takeaway restaurant I know! in Barking and surrounding areas! It looks very clean here, the sandwiches, fries and doners are very tasty and the staff is always very friendly! big compliments!!

I had food from here in the past and it was good, however had chicken and chips from here recently. It was poor. The chicken was dry and tasted old and the chips tasted old and reheated. My stomach did not feel great after eating their food. I will not be returning.

It turned out to be a fiver because I didn't want the can. The good thing is that the fish was fried to order so I had to wait. It was a small piece of fish that delivered which I'd rather have than something not nice but cheap and a big portion that I wouldn't want to finish. Everything was perfect in the sense the oil was clean and there was no oil lingering on my fingers. Fish was tasty and flaky with skin attached while the batter was light and moreish with an appetizing colour. It was definitely comforting having some good fish and chips which really made my day.

I just picked up fish and chips and wish I hadn’t. The food is old and kept warm in the warmer. Tasteless fish and dry overcooked chips. I won’t be returning. Just wasted my money here on something I didn’t even enjoy or finish.

Omg I am not kidding. Just bought a chicken pie with other stuff from here and the pie smelt like rotting meat. Couldn't believe what I was smelling. Nearly vomited. Looked for the date on the packet but had been scratched off. Offered me a replacement. ERM DEFINITELY NOT. 🤢

This is a pretty decent restaurant which serves fresh food. Although they take time in preparation but the quality is always good with decent prices. Staff is professional and friendly. I usually eat their fish and chips and they are the best ones you can find in Barking!

Nice place with friendly staff, price and portion size is alright.

Been here fee times, they served cold Donner all the times and chicken donner has that skin on it on all the pieces and they sell can drink for £1.20 when it says on the can not to be sold separately.

Got two chicken doner and chips medium and the quantity was so much very generous portions for prices. The guys are very respectful we will come again.

Years ago this used to be my favourite take away shop due to price, size portions and taste. Now the meat is over cooked, super dry and feels old when chewing. I also believe i got served 2 shish less as they didnt have enough in the counter and never saw them add additional ones to the grill. I won't be coming here again.

Have been coming here over 15 years. Never once have they disappointed. Amazing taste good prices can't go wrong.

Go if you want the worst fish and chips of your life. I’m pretty certain it’s not cod, the food was so oily I felt sick and still do hours later. Never trust a restaurant that sells, fish and chips, fried chicken AND donner. Just avoid at all costs

Tried this chippy with an open mind and an open mouth. All in all an enjoyable experience, for me can't say the cod enjoyed it. Sat outside in the sunshine. Bit posh with the plastic knife and fork. We'll worthy of a 4

Disgusting overcooked cod tasting like rubber I asked for a freshly cooked piece and got a piece that must have been cooked an hour or 2 before hand and its the 3rd time it's happened hence to say I won't be buying there again

Best Fish and Chips in Barking and at a good price!

Hello everyone, I was here today to raise a complaint with them cause I got some food a chips for my children that it was pathetic despite me reminding the guy is it fresh ? He said yes yes just cooked them Now. When I reach home which is around 4 minutes from this filthy shop , the food was cold as Rock , the sausage was hard as cooked yesterday my children didnt even touch the food . So I try to raise a complaint with them they start talking Rubish no it not possible and than they are saying what can we do if it not selling ? So I said to them chuck it why you want to risk people lives ? He said ok I will not serve you ? Lol that was there answer once I thought to ask them show me how ? Than I thought let me expose these people as they are closed by Helth and safety for no reason ! It because of this food and services they provide . Shame on the boss of this shop .

I’d suggest everyone to NOT to go to this place. I went to buy a doner kebab from them and after receiving the order, I saw a very disgusting thing happened in there. There was a guy cleaning the counter top behind the till where they hang and heat the whole doner, and the guy cleaning the shelf sneezed without covering his mouth in front of the whole doner kebab they serve. To protect yourself from illness don’t going there. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!

I used to go here in the 90s under previous ownership where you could get a decent sit down Sausage/Pie or Fish n Chip meal at a reasonable price on a plate with cutlery. Now under new ownership and it's inedible. Sat down to a 2 piece chicken and chip meal, served in a cardboard box with a wooden chip fork. The chicken was cold and pink. I left most of it apart from the chips. Felt sick after. A shadow of its former self.

Love their food and the service is great but I must say that I went there last week to be confronted by a member of staff who was extremely rude, threatening and patronising, he needs to go otherwise you will lose customers, rest of the staff are lovely but this guy spoils it, LEAVE

Was told theres a 10 minute wait for the fish to be cooked. Had to wait outside in the cold for over 30 minutes. Food wasn't hot and chips were stale, thrown in the bin. Not my first experience like this from here. Never again. Best avoid this place

Absolutely excellent aint been here for a while but came back and it was as good as i remember it. Try to come here every week. Prices are very reasonable and service first class. Highly recommended.

Very dry chicken shish . No flavour at all . Also had a dodgy stomache and diarohhea . Do not recommend .

The only classical fish and chip shop left in Barking town centre and an institution. Many others have come but not lasted however Top Deck remains. The chips are proper chippy style ones with the ability to douse in vinegar and onion juice. The battered fish is fresh and often fried in front of you when you order. Further into the shop there is seating in cosy booths if you wish to fine in.

Went to get savoloys and chips for me and my wife and what was served was the poorest quality chips and savoloys that looked like they had been on display since they opened the shop and this was 8.30pm when I was in there, the portion size of the chips was so small it wouldn’t have fed me on my own let alone me and my wife do your self a favour and walk round the corner to ripple road to get your chips better portions and better quality

Love eating the chips from this place, very good staff and very polite people, especially the Fish and chips is excellent for a good price of £3.50! I recommend this place!

I don't recommend this restaurant. My first meal in the UK was there and I was shocked when I ate the chips as it was different in shape and taste. The bread rolls were not fresh. Chicken were fine.

Absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever, the staff think they are being funny by offending customers. It's not funny - you're losing customers and will continue to do so. This place used to be good but it seems management changed or something. Won't be ever coming here again. I would never recommend this to anyone, go anywhere else in Barking! I also found a hair in my chips, but the customer service was so horrific I don't even care so much about that and just threw my food away.

I ordered rock fish it was so smelly and tasteless.. I cudnt even take a bite.. And dumped it.. My experience was really bad

Best fish and chips for the best price! Ask for medium ,large is almist for two persons. The chips aren't the frozen one!

Love to eat in here after work. They've got a quiet tabled area in the back if you don't want to use the takeaway out the front of the shop. Food is always piping hot served quickly and priced very reasonably. Service is by friendly staff who are professional and on the ball.
