Absolutely lovely gastro pub, delicious food, superb selection of beers/Ciders/wines and a decor that looks like it was designed by an interior designer... Wonderful helpful staff and the beautiful dog Poppy is the star of the show
The prices have drastically increased over the past couple of months for dinning in, the service charge is now also automatically applied to the bill which wasn’t the case before. We have been coming here for years, it’s been our go to Indian Restaurant including regular takeaways at least once a month, but as a family we won’t be able to afford to anymore as it’s now very expensive which is a shame.
I’m a huge fan of the Melissa in Edgware so I thought to try out the harrow branch. The food was decent and tasted fresh and the service was generally good. But the staff need some additional training. I had a pram and was alone and coming into the restaurant the waitress could see me struggling with the pram but stared rather than come to help me by opening the door. The same happened on the way out. Again, I wouldn’t be too bothered if they are busy but only 3 tables were dining. The staff were just standing on the side but no one helped me. That left a bad taste in my mouth and I would not return. I think they are also pricier than the Edgware branch.
Really nice local restaurant, great service, very friendly staff and tasty food with lots of classic dishes and a few interesting unique items on the menu!
I live close by and will definitely be going back!
Beautiful and unique restaurant, wonderfully decorated. The food was of the greatest quality, we had the lamb tagine, it was divine. All the dishes were so fresh and full of flavour. Thank you!
No doubt food is good, fish was crispy just like how I like it, fish cake was done to perfection aswell but the portion size of the medium chips is a total rip off in comparison to how much you pay. If compared to other chippy's the medium portion is not even close to small from other shops, hence 3 stars, wouldn't come again as I feel it's not bang for your buck
Un gran restaurante tradicional en el West End. La comida es de alta calidad y las mesas colocadas a una distancia razonable que permite conversaciones de negocios sin temor a escuchas.
Located just up from Bromley South station we came for an meal on a Saturday evening, first ever visit, and found a table surprisingly easy.I say surprisingly because I'm not sure why this restaurant isn't more busy. The service was spot on, friendly, efficient and fast. The menu choice was very good but obviously the pan Asian theme runs throughout, quite alot of dishes use some form of chilli ingredients. The food itself was very nice, absolutely loved the sesame prawn rolls and soft shell crab though. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.
*Second visit*
Still great, still had the same starters, but for main I had Thai green prawn curry this time, absolutely gorgeous. STILL worth checking out.
*Third visit*
Still brilliant. Lovely food, great service, good prices.
Just had the best breakfast at The Big Bites Cafe! The food was amazing—super tasty and fresh—and the staff? So friendly and on point. Definitely my new go-to spot. Highly recommend!
