The food is really good l, the service is good and I've never been disappointed with a visit here! I've had many family dinners here, mud week lunches and shops for tapas/ snacks and a coffee and the place is welcoming, staff are friendly and I'll be back time and time again

Velsmagende og lækkert mad. Rigtig rigtig god service fra vores tjenerinde. Hyggelig atmosfære. Eneste minus var at det trak lidt koldt fra døren.

We heard about them from friends that live close by. I am Spanish and I love Portuguese food so I thought we should give it a try. The menu is quite simple and the food was not bad but I think the price is a bit high for what it is. .. considering I can make some of the things at home. We went around 8pm and it was ok but a few minutes later, what looked like regular costumers, arrived and the place was super noisy. They put music so loud you couldn't even have a conversation... it felt more like a club than a restaurant. My friends told me that this is normal so I don't know... I particularly didn't like it. In my opinion restaurants should be a place to have dinner and a good conversation. You can have music but honestly this was another level, I could feel the floor vibrating. Not enjoyable at all, the food is not worth the bad environment.

Been back to this restaurant for my surprise the service and food have sadly gone south. I don't think I will ever be back. The beef dish has been downsized to half its size ,a quarter of its quality and kept its price. the service need to improve to say it was bad.The atmosphere was noon existent.

Food are superb very tasty. Definitely we back again. Staff very friendly and service is very good. We went for meetings friends and all of us coming out very happy

It has been soooo long since I had been out at a Portuguese restaurant for anything. I decided to try O Bombeiro in Harlesden for the first time for a late lunch and it didn't disappoint. Firstly, it's very clean and social distancing is maintained. Although the decor lacks imagination and, to a lesser extent the same could be said about the dishes, the quality and preparation of the food is very good indeed; these people can cook! I had a Portuguese beer whilst perusing the menu (£2.50), which although not extensive, has enough variation for the average diner. I started with a delicious vegetable soup (£3), followed by Dourada Grelhada (grilled Sea Bream) - possibly the biggest I've ever seen on a plate - with boiled potato, carrot and broccoli (which was al dente, as it should be) (£14) and a bottle of a white 2018 Dao (£18) and for dessert I had a Molotov (£4) - basically egg white whipped into a 'cake' and covered with salted caramel syrup and cinnamon - very light! At these prices it won't break the bank, especially considering an espresso coffee (bica) is only a quid and if you want a liqueur to go with it a Bagaso Amarelo (a clear eau de vie) is about 3 quid a shot, cheaper than most Portuguese Restaurants I've been to in London. Although not in a fashionable part of town, this comes with the obvious price advantage and, well, considering the food quality and portion sizes, you can't go wrong. Service is polite and helpful. Popular with groups and families too. Plus, there is the obligatory two TV screens with at least one of them showing Spanish and Portuguese football matches, good for the footie fan like me!

First time at this place lovely food and staff prawns were so fresh and served with a lovely sauce i would recommened this place i cant wait to return

Just came from lunch at this place and had a great time. Ordered a espetada de Camarões or prawns kebabs. Very tasty and well made. I will come back for sure.

Have been a number of times over the last 4 years since moving to the area. Have celebrated a birthday and anniversary. Food is delicious and hospitality is warm. A truly lovely family restaurant with honest food at reasonable price.

We stumbled across this hidden gem whilst walking and what a place. Live guitarist David Freire was playing and the atmosphere was the best we’ve felt in ages. Food was delicious and would def recommend the lamb chops!

The food here is delicious the service courteous and cheap. The sizes of their dishes are mind blowing.

Me and a few Portuguese friends came here for a late supper and we were pleasantly pleased. We had a mixture of fesh warm bread, butter, olives, Chorizo and pickles for starters. For mains we had steak, eggs, chips and gambas à bràs (prawns mixed with potatoes, eggs) and it was tasty. I would recommend this family friendly restaurant but be warned it can get very busy so may be better to book in advance.

Great steaks, kebabs, fish and very reasonably priced. Plus the house wine was delicious at on £13 bottle. Generous portions well cooked and friendly atmosphere.

We went here for lunch with our friends from Portugal. We all agreed it was a really super lunch with good quality food and very generous portions etc. We had a selection of starters seafood and chorizo etc which came with some excellent bread for dipping in the lovely sauces with garlic. We were advised to only have 2 main courses of grilled octopus for 4 people and this was plenty, the maitre de was very honest with us real quantities etc. We enjoyed the bottles of vinho verde which were very reasonably priced. The bill was so reasonable that we could hardly believe it! We will definitely be returning here its a great place even if first appearances might be deceiving!!!! Definitely recommend trying it if you like well cooked and prepared Mediterranean food.

My family and I had a lovely meal here tonight. The cod was spectacular, the pichanha (sirloin) was phenomenal, the service was very professional and courteous. We all enjoyed our meal. The dining room is very nice, white table clothes, with green napkins, very modern and elegant. We will return!

Will definitely be back. If you are looking for a tasty steak, I would definitely recommend this restaurant! Best medium rear steak I ever had in Harlesden! Amazing!

Terminamos comiendo en este restaurante inesperadamente como planes han cambiado y otros restaurantes locales no atractivo a pesar del viento y tiempo húmedo fuera. El ambiente era cálido, amable y acogedora. Otros comensales parecía ser asiduos disfrutando sus comidas. El servicio era amable y apropiadamente oportuna. Tuvimos la pechuga de pollo con patatas fritas y la comida estaba deliciosa! Patatas fritas bañadas en aceite y no el pollo sabía como si justo al lado de la barbacoa! Parte eran generosos y con todos los condimentos adecuado. No teníamos innecesarias interrupciones de preguntarnos sobre la comida o sobre nuestra satisfacción y no los intentos de presión a tener otra copa de vino. Había dos pantallas de televisión con el fútbol en pero no insoportables o ruidoso de ninguna manera. Durante la comida pudimos tienen conversaciones sin injerencia de personal y este fue muy apreciado. Las comodidades de las habitaciones de descanso estaban limpias y todo en orden. En general, buena relación calidad-precio, un ambiente encantador en la noche y una experiencia agradable. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante si estás en la zona.

Great local eaterie in Harlesden NW10. Scottish Sirloin Beef, Maderian Style on a Rosemary Skewer. Fab Grilled Prawns in garlic and herb butter. Homemade chocolate mousse, espresso. Job done. Excellent value - do try! Booking advisable -especially weekends.

Ambiente agradable y sabrosa comida. Si tengo que hacer un comentario constructivo en cuanto al servicio al cliente por favor camareros nos dan un poco de sonrisa, yo sé que ustedes no están increíblemente bien pagado, pero al menos tienes un trabajo y tengo que decir que estás haciendo muy bien. Pero sonrisa sería sin duda una gran ventaja para mí para convertirse en un cliente habitual.

Excellent and delicious food; very friendly staff; family friendly. The "Feijoada à Brasileira" was delicious. Strongly recommend.

Can't fault the service, always treated like a part of the family and nothing is too much trouble. At weekends always book as always very busy. Generous portion sizes.

Loved the food, full of flavour, brilliant atmosphere, friendly and very professional staff. First time there and was made to feel like a valuable costumer. Definitely worthy of many more visits.

Simplesmente a melhor comida Portuguesa em Londres, ambiente acolhedor e staff mt simpatico e prestavel... um polvo a lagareiro formidavel e uma picanha mt bem confeccionada, para nao falar da cataplana de peixe que comemos ha umas semanas atras que estava simplesmente divinal... o unico senao a apontar foi a porta, estavamos localizados perto desta e cada vez que alguem entrava ou saia vinha um frio terrivel mas que foi um pouco atenuado pelo aquecimemto junto a nos... PARABENS pela qualidade e pelo atendimento prestado...
