So happy I discovered this hidden gem! It's tucked away on a quiet street near a park just 5 minutes walk from Russell Square Station. Great vegetarian options- I had the moussaka and it was delicious. Lovely spacious seating area inside and a table out front for sunny days. Big shout out to Benis who made my experience extra special! Will definitely be coming back.

Sit back and order your dinner, with the radio playing in the background, you can already feel like your in Istanbul proper. Then the food comes hot and ready to enjoy, I regularly come here with my son because of the excellent dishes served and the easy going staff - I often feel like I've saved myself the airfare!

I love afternoon tea but whilst enjoyable it can be somewhat repetitive. It was so enjoyable to have an Indian flavour twist. Everything was really tasty and enjoyable. The setting overlooking the Thames along with the excellent service provided by Sonsl added to the experience. My favourite was the Dahi Puri.
