Nydelig mat/drikke. Super service og veldig koselig. Rimelige priser. Sunn og god mat, smoothie, fresh juice, bagel, crêpes, gresk yoghurt med bær, toast, kaffe, te.
I’ve tried several Vietnamese restaurants on Kingsland Road and this is, by far, the best. Cosy space, friendly and efficient service and the food… amazing! Spring rolls, Pho, vegetarian option and claypot rice all to die for. Try it out. You won’t regret it!
One of the great experiences of dining out in an intimate way! This place is unique and wonderful. Situation is on King Street nearly opposite Tesco. Tiny but wonderful restaurant. Banglador street food, other Indian food and English food. Beautifully designed, it has comfy gorgeous pink chairs. Beautifully designed interior. Best thing is the food all freshly cooked to order. Absolutely delicious food and very good value indeed. The cooks could not be more friendly and helpful. Dog friendly which is important to us. Last visit they gave Bosco a plate of rice free. Another time when it was raining they said stay as long as you like after your meal so as not to get wet. A unique experience which I would recommend to everyone.
Absolutely love the food here 😁 just had the best curries etc yet, everything is great. 10/10 ***** can't best this place. Family have been using for over 20 years, won't go anywhere else. 🙏🙌🙌 Yum 😋
Wheatfield Way Travelodge Kingston upon Thames Central, England
During my recent stay at Travelodge, I had the pleasure of encountering an exceptional staff member named Waqar in the restaurant. His commitment to providing outstanding service was truly remarkable. Waqar's attentiveness and friendly demeanor made every dining experience enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, making personalized recommendations and accommodating special requests. His professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction were truly commendable. Travelodge is fortunate to have such a valuable team member like Waqar, and his exceptional service added an extra layer of excellence to my stay.
Recently went there after being reccomended by a friend, the fish was delicious and the chips was the best part. The employees were welcoming and very nice to us and they served us quickly and had smiles on there faces. Will definitely be visiting there more in more recent times to come.
I had a burrito bowl on my first visit. Delicious and filling! Staff is very nice, too. I will definitely have lunch there again. Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten Free options available!
MORE THAN A BAKERY-A CAKE LOVERS HEAVEN, VEGANS WELCOME AT COUGHLANS, ADDISCOMBE
COUGHLAN’s Bakery on Lower Addiscombe Road is in the suburb of Croydon. It has been there since 1937 and seen a lot of changes. Not only does it make lovely fresh Artisan bread, but it has also changed itself into a restaurant that specialises in providing vegan food to eat. In good weather there are tables outside.
What our family like about it is that none of the inside tables are ever wobbly and that there are free newspapers provided. The place is clean and bright.
You can sit in the brown comfortable bucket chairs for a long time with just a cup of coffee and read the paper from end to end. You will not be bothered by the extremely friendly staff. I sat at the end near an old fireplace which is a quite pleasant and quiet place to be.
One makes orders at the counter but the staff brings your order to the table.
There is easy access to the toilet should you need one, but you must show a receipt of purchase in order to get the key! This keeps it out of general use and therefore very clean and well looked after.
Around the beige and wood decorated walls there are black-and-white photographs dating from the early 1900s and showing the changes of scene that have occurred in the locality. In contrast written on chalkboards are funny messages relating to the cakes.
And what wonderful handcrafted quality cakes you can get here. Order your special ones for birthdays and other special occasions. I saw samples of some. There were cakes in the shape of Spider-Man’s Face, a football complete with scarf, a plate of cheeseburger and fries plus tomato sauce, football badges, cricketing themes and to cap it all -Thomas the Tank Engine which looks as if he could drive off the table!
Chocolate lovers this is heaven. They make cakes which serve 20 to 30 people which are dripping with chocolate and every kind of chocolate bar. For the vegans there are 4 choices available-also with chocolate!
We decided to try somewhere local instead of trudging up to london for a fine dining experience, for once. And we were not disappointed.
We live quite local so this isn’t a hassle to get to, but it’s not obvious how amazing this place is if you don’t live nearby.
This restaurant has only been around for a matter of months but was packed by mid-evening. We had dinner reservations for 6.30pm and were given a great deal of attention and enjoyed a lovely evening with the taster menu being an absolute pleasure to eat. From the very start the green bean croustade and potato with garlic were divine. The next few courses were all standout - but must make mention of the bread and marmite butter (wow - could have eaten two loaves and what a revelation the butter was!!) and the lamb course was utterly delicious. The scallop was inspired - didn’t think I’d like a cold scallop but it was incredible with the brown crab sauce. For a tasting menu we were surprised how full we felt just as they brought out the English Strawberry desert which was also just divine. The care and thought put into the menu is lovely all using locally sourced and farmed food. We will come again. Special mention to the staff/ladies who served us they were so knowledgeable and lovely and helpful.
