This was my first visit here. I came with family and friends and we all had a great tine. We had wraps and toasties which came with a side salad.

Last week I had poached eggs and toast which was a big mistake as their was loads of hot water within the eggs which turned the bread to mush. Late lunch with my friend and young son. We had a variety of dishes and drinks with mixed results: the panini was a succss, and the pasta was also enjoyed. I was looking forward to avocado and poached eggs on toast; unfortunately, the eggs are not free range, which is pretty standard, so all egg dishes were avoided. Please, Rendez-vous cafe, MAKE THE SWITCH TO FREE RANGE EGGS - this would be welcome by vegetarian and non-vegetarians alike. I opted for mushrooms and spinach on toast which was ok, but a little let down by the very salty spinach. Service was fine and friendly.

Busy place had to wait quite a while to get our lunch, but although it was worth the wait I have to say that there is so much choice of places to eat in surrounding areas Beckenham seems to of out priced itself for what you get.

10/10 end to end kudos! I was having a 50th birthday celebration breakfast with my husband and I can highly recommend and will definitely be coming back. My husband ordered Eggs Florentine and I ordered English breakfast which was cooked and presented to perfection. My husband ordered a Green Reviver smoothie and had to order another one as he thoroughly enjoyed it and ordered the mixed berry which went down a treat for him. I ordered a large Americano coffee which was the real deal. To finish off the breakfast my husband ordered a slice of fruit cake, and he was given a bigger portion as the left over was 1 1/2 slices so he took home a portion which also went down a treat. You will not be disappointed so if you have not tried this venue please give it a try. It certainly was value for money !!

I was invited to take part on GB News' "Peoples Panel on Sunday 4th June. The Venue for the outside broadcast was the Rendez-Vous café. I arrived at about 07:30am the the cafe was already busy with people having breakfast. I ordered Eggs Royale and a Capuccino. What arrived was the best quality breakfast I have had since my experience at La Belle Époque in Knutsford, Cheshire. The café style décor is pleasant and the staff absolutly delightful, the only negative being that I can't rate Rendez-Vouz with six stars on the Trip Advisor system. If you're passing through Beckenham and are feeling peckish or just fancy a coffee you really can't do better. There is limited on-street parking outside or there is a council car-park just a couple of hundred yards away.

Highly recommended by my friends, my first visit but not theirs. All our food was good and fairly quickly served, although I asked for ciabatta and got panini instead. Made do with that and it was fine. Just feel that they could have cleared some/all of our plates etc once we finished. In fact, I did start to ask the waitress to do this, but then felt guilty and told her it didn't matter. That was OK, but no-one asked us if we wanted anything else either. I wouldn't have minded a cake (though it was probably a good thing we WEREN'T asked!). It could have made the cafe a bit more money ... Anyway, a good visit. Particularly glad the size of the restaurant provided seating at the back so we could have a bit of privacy so we could talk easily. Hopefully we'll be back before long.

This is one of my favourite places to eat in beckenham so it’s not my first time here but it was my husbands & he absolutely loved it and will definitely be going back , the staff are friendly / polite and very attentive and the food is delicious! The portions are just the right size and value for money . Unfortunately I didn’t get any photos as I was too busy eating . You really won’t be disappointed , ENJOY !!!

There are a lot of coffee places in Beckenham and over the years I have tried most of them. I recently found RV and on the off chance went in for a coffee for myself and my wife. What I came out with was an amazing coffee with well heated milk and a silky smooth taste. Even my wife's oat milk latte (which can be tricky to heat the milk up to a decent consistency) was amazing. The owner takes real pride in his coffees and I haven't wanted or needed to look anywhere else as the service too was good and the consistency of the coffees great.Next time you're passing RV pop in and treat yourself to a decent coffee.

I have been visiting rv regularly for the last 3 months and it has become my go to for my daily coffee before work and breakfasts at the weekend when I have time to lay in and relax. sammy is always really friendly and makes us and our puppy feel welcome when we visit! always a sausage and a bowl of water out for our daschund! food is incredible as is the coffee. there are lots of coffee places in beckenham and I've tried then all as a long term resident and have settled here as my favourite. number 1 in beckenham for a reason!

Even during the lockdown it is always a pleasure to stop at this welcoming cafe to grab a takeaway bite with a drink. The shop has been rearranged and the internal layout is now putting in evidence the selection of pastries which has always been good at this spot.As usual the choice of sandwiches, panini and filled baguettes are always freshly prepared and they never sit in a display counter.I can’t wait until I can sit again after the lockdown to appreciate not just the food and drinks but the friendliness of the staff.Very much worth visiting to please the palate.

My boyfriend and I have frequented this cafe on an almost weekly basis. The staff are absolutely phenomenal, super friendly and hospitable. They have a huge breakfast and lunch selection, all available to takeaway, and to be delivered. They have scrumptious cakes and most of all, they are dog friendly! Would definitely recommend!

I opted for eggs florentine accompanied with a hash brown and side salad, together with a Black coffee. All food and drink arrived in good time, hot and tasty. Cafe was clean and tidy with good distancing maintained within Covid guidelines. Overall, a most pleasant visit was had and will definitely be returning here again very soon.

Me and my boyfriend always go to this cafe, it’s our go-to. The customer service is always amazing. They gave my boyfriend a free slice of cake for his birthday. Good to note: they don’t serve pork. They have beef sausages and turkey bacon.

Wonderful atmosphere with brilliant hosts Kate and Sam. They gave free sausage and water to our dog as we sat outside and they took our order. Brilliant fresh juices and great coffee. The kids said the American pancakes were as good as the ones we had in the states this time last year. Highly recommend both service and food.

Always worth a visit this cafe is close to where I work so I have used many times. Good food, coffee and hot chocolate (very tasty). They will happily suggest variations when ordering takeaway sandwiches, wraps & ciabattas. They do a really yummy wrap with falafel and salsa, try it!

I regularly pop in for my coffee and lunch breaks and today I was really pleased to see the new seating area by the shop windows.In fact, it’s now possible to enjoy the tasty food and good coffee directly facing the High Street.The combination of the food quality, nice service and the improved comfort really makes this place a special one in the area.

We absolutely love this place and we visit every couple of weeks for brunch. They are always friendly and welcoming, the food is always delicious and they welcome dogs (and always give them a treat and water which is so kind). The location is really convenient following walks in the nearby park.
