We've been customers for years. We no longer live nearby but it is still worth the drive. The dishes/recipes are genuine Italian (I can tell as I am Italian). My Italian parents said the best pizza they ever had! But it's not just the pizzas; pastas and meat dishes are also mouthwatering and tasty. Luiz is a great chef and clearly knows his way around the kitchen (he lived in Italy). Barbara and Paolo are friendly and professional front of house members and certainly an addition to the atmosphere (good Italian music is also played). I have often enjoyed the seafood pasta, any pizza, and the marvellous steak in tomato sauce. Keep it up guys!

We went for my son’s 9th birthday and everything was great. My son loved the food and he is a fussy eater! He ate the tomato pasta with garlic bread. Six people came including three adults and three children. Two children ate adult meals and all rated 5*s. I loved the atmosphere and the chef and waitress were amazing and attentive. I ate the seafood spaghetti and I enjoyed it i would say 4 out of 5. The pizza looked amazing and the calamari are definitely the two that stood out and we all took a liking to. My seat did need a shake to remove a little mess and the table had minor crumbs. Otherwise the table was ready when we arrived as I called ahead. All was put right quickly and we all very much enjoyed the meal.

It was an absolutely lovely surprise Sunday lunch meal. Chef greeting tables, checking on food, really lovely, familly orientated business... my son said 5x that pizza was the best he ever tried.... real taste of itali in croydooooʻn. And now, after 7h... reheated food still tast amazing. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!

First time at La Terrazza and it was an excellent experience. The restaurant and the food is 100% authentic, the same as if you are in Italy, and cooked to perfection. Everyone from the waiting staff to the chef are friendly, engaging and attentive. A very varied menu, we tried pastas, lasagne and a pizza and everything was fantastic. We had a range of ages-from my parents to my son all dining and everyone said they thoroughly the food and the atmosphere of this restaurant. Highly recommended!

There is nothing to dislike about La Terrazza. Fantastic food in a small unpretentious restaurant, with service that is second to none. We had an informal family birthday celebration there and the owner (Luiz) went out of his way to ensure we all had a brilliant time. Fabulous menu, at affordable prices, with a great wine list.

Lovely restaurant, very good atmosphere and food

My friend and I came here for dinner, it was our first time despite being round the corner to her. We were not disappointed, the food was really very good and the price was excellent. The chef kept coming out to check everything was ok and he was so funny and cute! We loved it I would highly recommend. I had the seafood pasta for my main and my friend even commented that it’s the first time she’s ever seen me finish my plate! Nothing more to say :)

Delicious food with a good kids menu for little ones. The staff were lovely and service was amazing. The chef came out a few times to chat to us and joke around with our children which is unusual to find in restaurants these days and added to our wonderful experience. My husband enjoyed his lamb. I am vegan and they did not have vegan cheese, so I had a pizza without cheese, which would normally be rather dry and tasteless but it was fantastic. Price wise it was on the high end for a family of 4, so I would reserve for special occasions.

I came to La terrazza for the first time with my friends, i was served by Barbara, she was lovely and the service was 10/10. I had the lamb shank special and it was absolutely delightful and tender. The chef Luiz came to check if everything was okay, which made us feel very welcome! i will definitely be revisiting, thank you for the lovely evening!

Nice atmosphere and good service. We had pizas and carbonara dish. Pizas were ok, not the best ones in London, crust wasn't my favorite. Carbonara was tasty, could be a little bigger portion for the price. Overall good. We would come back for cozy and friendly atmosphere and pasta dishes.

Love the food! Calamari is my favourite. Not too thick and light dusted coating! Recommend here. Chef is lovely and remembers your face from previous visits. Warm and cosy place!

Incredible atmosphere, the chef is truly so personable and friendly. He comes around and personally checks on you and your food. As an Italian it made me feel like I was sitting in my nonnas kitchen. Waitresses and Host were so lovely and attentive. Visited 27/10/23.

This restaurant deserves its plaudits. The chef comes out to personally ensure the customers are happy with their choice of meals. The other staff are friendly and genuine Italian, as are the dishes. We were served quickly and the food was piping hot. Children were also accepted happily, and parties of all sizes, catered for. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I really enjoy eating out. We find a really good restaurant and it is added to our list of places to go. We visited this restaurant yesterday and it is now at the top of the list. From the moment we entered the staff we so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The Chef/Owner came to welcome us and we were treated like old friends from the start. The food was excellent, and I am fussy. I can highly recommend the lasagne....absolutely lovely! We will most certainly be using this venue moving forward. Thanks to all of the staff for a really memorable experience.

Made our regular weekly visit to La Terrazza tonight - food great as always but learnt that our good friend Paelo has left 🤔 There was a bit of a delay on the food but the restaurant was busy even at 6:30pm Let’s hope that things don’t change too much 🤔

We have been coming to La Terrazza for several months now and from the first day we have made feel extremely welcomed and had a wonderful dining experience. The staff is extremely attentive, friendly and courteous. The chef, Luiz, makes a point of welcoming and thanking all guests. Food is excellent, with great ingredients and an ever changing specials menu to keep every visit new and fresh. I couldn't recommend La Terrazza more. Make a point of visiting!

The food is delicious, there are specials every day. The Tiramisu is the best I have tasted ❤️ There is an open kitchen and you can see the chefs at work. The waiting staff are attentive and delightful 😊 A special place 😍

My family are regular customers at La Terrazza. It is - by far - our favourite restaurant in the area. We had dinner here this evening. The food was, as always, delicious and prepared to a very high standard. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was, as ever, cozy and relaxed. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Amazing service Chef made us a mushroom arancini from scratch which wasn’t on the menu and was absolutely delicious. Starters, Mains, Desserts did not disappoint. We would highly recommend this Italian Gem.

Fabulous, fresh-tasting food, with welcoming staff and a lovely atmosphere.

Decided to take myself on a date last night. This little gem is within walking distance of my house. Before lockdown it was more of a pizza takeout/delivery joint. Now it has blossomed into a little slice of Italy right on my doorstep. Lovely rustic and cosy ambience with red and white checked tablecloths, whitewashed walls, and simple wooden tables and chairs. The menu is extensive with plenty of choices of pizza and pasta. I elected to have the Quattro Stagione pizza, which was delicious. When my meal was brought out, the server apologised for the delay. I hadn’t even noticed there was a delay as I was simply enjoying sitting sipping my wine and enjoying the lovely Italian music being piped softly through the restaurant. The hosts were warm and welcoming and the chef kept coming out of the kitchen to check on me. They even gave me a complimentary glass of wine to compensate for the delay that I hadn’t even noticed. Left with my spirits lifted. First-rate experience; I shall be back.

My family and I had a really lovely meal for my birthday: great food, friendly staff and excellent service. They taught my niece how to make ice cream and let her bring out my birthday cake, which she loved! Would highly recommend :)

Easy 5 stars had an amazing meal with my family, waiters were really attentive, the chef came out to talk to us and check we were enjoying our food. Could not fault it, also amazing limoncello cocktail.

Kind and personal attention from staff and chef/patron makes you feel welcome and puts you at ease. The food is great, and fairly priced. The standards are well done, there are interesting specials, and for the first time ever I tasted arancini that was actually delicious. (Ah, I get it now! Never saw the point of it before...) Good quality wines, not aggressively priced. Very recommended!

We were a family group of seven, including 2 small children, and we had a lovely time. The food was excellent, the staff are just lovely , so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble which made it a really fun family lunch. We will back again very soon

Pedimos como prato principal uma carbonara que estava maravilhosa e pizza de presunto parma com burrata, de sobremesa tiramisu, todos estavam incríveis! This is a little gem, the staff are extremely friendly and attentive and you can expect a very warm welcome, they are especially welcoming to children and the chef goes out of his way to make the kids feel special. The food is first class, fresh and beautifully presented, his was our third visit but are determined to work our way through the entire menu.

Hi, ate here based on other reviews with my 80+ mother and brother. We had a lovely meal. Tables were well spaced out, staff were friendly, the chef came out and had a quick chat with us. Food was well presented as well as delicious and plentiful. Would definitely go again if back in town. We were bought up in West Wickham, but I now live in Devon and brother lives in Spain so first time in 4 years we were together in West Wickham.

The very best in Italian cuisine. Small and homely with a welcome that tells you how important your patronage is to this happy band of culinary wizards. It like dinning with family, never rushed and always a happy experience. If you have never eaten here I guarantee once you have you will again and again and again. A hidden gem of a restaurant. Really nice atmosphere with the chef personally greeting all the customers. Really authentic food. Felt like we were in a Sicilian trattoria. Bravo!

We enjoyed a wonderful family lunch at La Terrazza on Easter Saturday. We were made to feel so welcome and they went out of their way to make my very elderly mother-in-law feel special. The atmosphere was very homely! The meal was relaxed and not rushed and the food itself was superb. We would definitely hope to come back for another meal again in the future.

This is my local Italian and there is nothing to fault about it. Food is really nice and the pizzas some of the best I tried. They really use high quality ingredients. Paolo has a way to make you feel at ease as if you were family making for a great atmosphere. I tried other local Italians (and one of them which I would not name was an authentic nightmare), this one is the only authentic Italian in the West wickham /Shirley area.

Really good Italian food. Staff were very attentive. Pasta is just amazing. Turamisu was great too.
