Had a shawarma wrap, Baba ganouche and potatoes. Potatoes were good but the wrap was plain with little flavour and the Baba ganouche tasted off

My favourite lunch spot in Brixton!

I used to come here almost everyday for my lunch, the quality started amazingly and has just declined from there. I've had slightly uncooked chicken a few times. But today I had to wait almost 30min for 2 chicken wraps which were not the best and found a little piece of metal in one of them. I'm very disappointed 😞

Comfort food goodness abounding. Falafel had a perfect crunch with soft tasty middle. An array of pickles. Decent pita. Friendly attentive owner.

Tried them thru 2good2go and can't recommend this business enough. Portions were massive for 4 quid, the biggest I've had. Tasty too and freshly prepared. Didn't feel like leftovers whatsoever, salad was crunchy and juicy, hummus was amazing, rice was good. Only chicken meat I had some issue with but it's personal preference: I like my meat juicy when shawarma is a dry meat. It was ok. Had a small talk with the owner as well, please support them.

Pretty unbeatable value compared to all the other places Brixton village. The staff are also super friendly and sweet The chicken shawarma wrap is £6 and was delicious. All the usual salads, generous amount of shawarma and in a large wrap. The falafel wrap is only a 5er! They also do a lunch platter 7 days a week, for £10 comes with shawarma, rice, salad and other bits of mezze. Again probably the best £10 you can spend in Brixton village.

Good food, big portions, cheap prices, lovely people, local business, what's not to like? Only thing to know is that there's only a few small tables, and none indoors, but the outdoors tables are covered and have heaters. Top tip: get the fries! 🤤

Such amazing food, freshly prepared by the lovely chef Fatima. Had the best sambouseh ever and the rest of the main courses were also absolutely yummy. Such generous platter for such a reasonable price. I had the chicken shawarma and everything on that plate was faultlessly delicious. Don’t go to other overrated restaurants in the city with their tiny decorative portions and overrated prices. Dine at this place and you won’t regret it. . My daughter and I were so happy to have discovered this little gem place and we shall be coming back very soon again. Very highly recommended. Wish I had taken photos to show.
