Indian Fusion Kitchen in Lambeth

I don’t often leave reviews but I felt compelled to do so this evening to save anyone else getting sucked into these positive reviews. Ordered a take away this evening and given a 45 minute wait time. After an hour wait I called the restaurant and was told that the restaurant were told waiting for the driver to come back - confirming that my food was ready but just sitting there getting cold. The food finally turned up another 20 minutes later (total wait time 1hr 20 minutes) and lo and behold - cold rice and soggy onion bhajis but they aren’t even the worst but. The worst thing is that the chicken is tough, dry and flavourless. 3 different chicken dishes and all of them taste like reheated, old chicken in mildly flavoured sauces. Save yourself the annoyance and frustration and order elsewhere.

I’m a big fan of this place. Fresh cooked Indian food and super helpful staff. Best Indian in the whole area. Delicious

I’ve tried many many Indian takeaways over the years and this is hands down the best, the food is excellent, always comes on time and the guys in there are lovely. Would give more than 5* if I could :-)

Had my first food from Indian fusion kitchen tonight and it was delicious. Different flavours throughout and it was enjoyed by all In my family. We had the lamb Rogan Josh, chicken Madras ( ohhh hot but not too hot!) A lovely aubergine dish, sag paneer and rice with a naan, it was all fresh and tasty. Met a lovely man there called Abbey, and we had a laugh too!. Cheers!.

The food is outstanding! Chicken is not dry at all, it’s very tender. Highly recommend the madras if you like a bit of heat. This is my new go-to spot. Also: the people who work here are so friendly and nice.

Efficient delivery and friendly delivery driver. Coconut rice was lovely and the chicken samosas also great! Unfortunately the Chicken tikka delight was fairly bland and also a bit of a watery consistency which is a shame as everything else was very nice. Generous amounts of chicken which did taste nice but the sauce was no good. Considering the curry was priced at £18 I was expecting more.

Absolutely fantastic as usual. This is the only Indian takeaway we use. the food is great... we eat here several times a month and they never disappoint. great choice of vegan dishes too. Outstanding!

food was OK and got a complimentary side, which was nice. Didn't enjoy the snarky comment about my address when it was dropped off.

The food was delicious and the owner and server was so personable and sweet. He was more than willing to accommodate my dietary restrictions and when we told him we wanted to get take out to go eat in the park nearby he sent us with plates and silverware so the experience would be better!

A group of us met up for a beer at the Bullfinch Brewery next door and ordered food from here. Great food, great service and great price all with an excellent selection of craft beers

This is my go to curry place. Excellent takeaway. Really good Jalfresi and Dhansak. Good veggie options. very friendly service. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I ordered from here I believe last week for the first time and the food did not disappoint! They even gave me a vegan dish free of charge to try and the vegetable free side dish was so nice. the food just taste so healthy, not greasy at all. For the price I can have this for two days which is not bad. Today I'm buying again just to see if my taste buds deceived me lol. The delivery man from shop was very nice and great customer service. This will be my new Indian take out from now on.

This place never disappoints. The vegan options are amazing and the portion sizes are generous. we are enormous fans of this place and eat from here at least 2-3 times per month. just outstanding! highly recommend

Incredible food!! My veggie curry had fresh, good sized pieces of veg, and was delicious. I was asked exactly how much spice I wanted and everything was cooked gluten free as I can't eat gluten! I loved my meal and can't wait to buy food from here again!! Am already recommending to all my friends 😍

absolutely amazing as usual. The dhansak is wonderful and their vegan options are just superb. (the vegan tarka dhal is one of the best I've tasted!). We order here regularly and get occasional freebies as well which is a lovely touch.

The food is fantastic... ive said this in previous reviews, but the food arrived very quick (driver was very friendly), portion sizes are generous and the flavours are amazing. I can't see us ordering from anywhere else. this is the best Indian takeaway in the area.

Been living in South London for 29 years. More dishes are required however this restaurant is truly outstanding and being a food critic do not praise easily. I did not see the delivery man but my wife informs me he was immaculate with a bow tie , the whole experience was magnificent. I am keen to order more varied dishes , I have no doubt that this will turn out to be the finest indian restaurant with one of the most varied menus I have seen in over a decade. Simple things like the salad was so so fresh and the free poppadoms tasted like they jumped out the pan about 30 secs prior. For my wife who took delivery to comment " What restaurant was that" told me this was something special. I am looking for any negativity but I cannot find any. Can't wait to reorder again. Thank you

every meal has been outstanding (I think we've had 4or 5 in as many weeks!) What a fantastic place ... I'm actually running out of ways to say how great Indian Fusion is. totally unbeatable. the only downside is that I have to go to the gym more often so I can eat here regularly!

i had to call restaurant asking on whereabouts of my order. when you paying for service and delivery, be nice if restaurant showed some care, instead of just taking money and not offered some sort of appology.

Every meal we've had from this place has been fantastic. I only wish I'd discovered it sooner. Far and away the best Indian food around - good portion sizes and amazing flavours. Just perfect. Can't wait to order again!

Indian Fusion is awesome. Great food and value but what's really nice is they always have a chat and are up for a joke while you're waiting. Never had a local Indian takeaway where food quality is so good for the price

Ordered twice now and both times they have berated me for not using cash (I know why. I don't care), and got my bill total very wrong (Intentional. I do care). This time it's because the 'prices on the menu are now out of date'...but they gave me the menu earlier that day. Really don't like scammers and I won't go here again - a shame as the food is decent

Third time ordering from here and it was just as great as ever. Really good portion sizes and tastes amazing. Partner who is vegan says it's the best curry they've ever had. So happy we found this place. One of the best.

This is easily one of the best Indian takeaways I've had for ages. My partner is vegan and they think the Quorn dishes are fantastic. The Ceylon and the dhansak are personal favourites. Rich flavours and very good portion sizes. Delivery was super quick. There are lots of cheaper alternatives locally, but the food is exceptional. Great option for a treat dinner. Highly recommend.

Just had another excellent meal from these guys. Really rich flavours and it's fantastic that they offer so many vegan dishes. The Quorn Ceylon is top, so is the chicken dhansak. great portion sizes as well. can't recommend highly enough!

For the price this curry was terrible, water and bland, same with the onion bhajis. The order was cold by time I got it. Wouldn’t order again

My partner is vegan and the choice available for vegans was really good. One of the tastiest meals we've ordered in for ages, and we'll definitely order again. My non vegan food was delicious. The tarka dhal is out of this world. It's not cheap, but I'd rather pay more money for good food like this. Highly recommended.

Food was not at all impressive

It's take away only i think... There might be one table but it's more of a counter with a kitchen than a full restaurant. The man who runs it is so kind and helpful and gave us a special vegan selection of curry. It's a fantastic neighborhood curry house and i recommend it for a takeaway.

Received a leaflet for 15% off so decided to 'cheat' on our usual Indian takeaway and it was the BEST decision! I called to place my order and the gentleman I spoke to suggested I amended my main to a chef special which was divine - full of flavour and colour. Highly recommend.

Didn’t get what was advertised missing items in my order

The byriani and veg curry were very tasty. But the saag paneer was not nice - the paneer tasted sour and unfresh. And the tofu Kurma didn't taste of anything, while the tofu was like waterlogged, squishy sponge... Sorry.

Ordered last night from here, took about an hour and a half to arrive. My chicken tikka was rock hard and chewy. The naan bread was a greyish colour and tasted dry. Not pleased to be honest. Had a stomach ache afterwards, really disappointed. £43 aswell and it wasn't up to standards.
