Amazing food - out of this world. And amazing atmosphere. Front of house and the wonderful chef who pops out to chat about the food - it all makes for a wonderful experience. I love the range on the menu - it’s great for a date night but also for a family meal out and special enough for very special celebrations.

Had a dinner with friends and thoroughly enjoyed the food. We had made a reservation which turned out to be a misbooking on the wrong time but the staff were accommodating in the end and we managed to have a table.

This place has instantly been put in my top 3 restaurants for food as the food tasted amazing. Everything tasted fresh, they were generous with the portion size and the Service was great. I had the meat platter and the only thing I didn't really like on it was the Spanish Chorizo but everything else...Delicious!!! Unfortunately, the restaurant is quite small so it is likely you will be sitting close to others.

A Hidden Gem Worth the Trip Excellent food – the suckling pig is absolutely to die for. While the location is a bit far from central London, it's well worth the journey. The service is top-notch, attentive without being intrusive. This cozy, intimate spot delivers big on flavor and charm. Small and unassuming spot in Streatham, but it really packs a punch. A lot of the meat has clear South American influences, which worked really well. We had the Feast Platter and the Grilled Whole Seabass - both were excellent. The platter in particular was a standout. Massive portion, great quality, and full of flavour. Honestly, I’d struggle to name another meat-focused restaurant in London that offers this kind of value. The whole platter was just £75 and could easily feed 3–4 people. Huge fan! Can’t recommend it enough.

Lovely food and great service. The carabinero prawns were lovely, but I think they should come with complimentary bread to mop up the delicious sauce, as it is pricey. The seabass dish was a good sized portion, salad was delicious, fish was well seasoned but a tad bit salty. Good portion of potatoes. Definitely worth it and very enjoyable. Lovely cocktails. Everyone enjoyed their food and left happy!

Genuinely lovely food, basically faultless for the price point. It’s as good as it looks and the portions are excellent, no skimping. Meat cooked to perfect temp and was high quality. Service also basically perfect and the restaurant is cosy but lovely to be in. Will definitely be back.

Had a great dinner at Streatham Kitchen, the quality of the food, service and atmosphere of this little restaurant were great. A nice simple cocktail menu with a not so typical selection of classics is always appreciated! We had the seafood platter which was huge but with a great variety of products. The playlist was a little questionable but that kind of added to the experience in a way so not complaining! Would visit again!

It's the second time we're visiting this place with my husband and it never disappoints! Amazing meat platter with food more than enough for 2 and the rest for takeaway for next day or two! I also wanted to thank the staff for a surprise they organised for my husband's birthday making his day ever so special! Highly recommended and certainly my go-to place for very good steak!

Amazing, everything was so lovely. My friends and I loved it. Great table, such lovely atmosphere, food was the best. We had basically everything, including the suckling pig. Staff super attentive. Would definitely go again.

Fabulous spot and well worth a visit. Food was delicious and generous, and clearly prepared with love and attention. Small place with great atmosphere and friendly staff. Perhaps not one for the vegetarians, but if you’re a fan of top notch meat and fish, don’t hesitate.

The food was absolutely delicious 🤤 massive portions, plenty for lunch tomorrow. I’ve been recommended here by several of my clients and my expectations were very high, and it definitely lived up to them! Will definitely be back.

Really good place, a hidden gem! The suckling pig (need to order in advance) is special, as good as the one you find in Spain, better than Sabor. The fired baby squid is outstanding, surprisingly the grill lamb and roast chicken are top notch, both are tasty, the lamb chops are thick cut and tender, the chicken is smoked and full with flavours. Octopus is not bad, but not outstanding, steak is a bit mid-core, I wouldn’t come here just for the steak. They should clean those shrimps, cut the back, pull the vein. The quality of shrimp is good and fresh but the black vein on the back makes the shrimp taste bitter. Grill seabass is a highlight. Salad and chips are great. Nevertheless, I will always comeback for the sharing platters.

Really sorry I didn’t take any pictures but the food is amongst some of the best that I’ve had in London. Totally recommend the Pabellón Criollo and the Bavette. Oh, and the Spanish ham croquettes. 100% coming back, truly lucky to have a place like this in the neighbourhood. Thanks, Streatham Kitchen!

We ordered the Feast Platter and Seafood Platter, and a few starters. Both platters were impressively plated and delicious. Desserts were also great.

We looked across London for a highly regarded Steak restaurant and weren't disappointed! The food was delicious at Streatham kitchen, the service was excellent and it is a lovely small restaurant to eat in. And the Tres Leches dessert was the cherry on top! I highly recommend a visit if you can or are interested in good food. We hope to make the trip especially to visit again.

Best food in Streatham hands down. Massive Portions for very good prices. Great staff too. We have been here several times and have never had a bad experience. The Seafood and Meat Platters are massive and amazing quality. The Suckling pig is absolutely divine and the roast potatoes that come with it were insane. The Chicken tenders are some of the best fried chicken i have ever eaten. The Burgers tend to be on the rare side for whatever you order, but as a rare meat eater that doenst bother me. And if you dont have the tres leches for desert you are missing out (it is huge though).

Food was rather average, unfortunately I did not find it special in any way. Surprised with all the high ratings, can't really trust Google review ratings these days. Price also on the expensive side, for the quality of the food.

I have booked this restaurant for my husband’s birthday meal for our family last weekend . We often struggle to find a restaurant that produces incredible food for us pescatarians as well as for the kids who are meat eaters. Streatham Kitchen is one of the best places to get perfectly cooked meat and seafood. Our waitress , Barbie was very friendly and super attentive. Lovely atmosphere and they are dog friendly which was an added bonus for us . This was our first time visiting Streatham Kitchen but certainly will be returning soon.

It was a superb dinner !!! We share sea food starters stars like octopus and batatas bravas and tuna canapés and for mains we had a beef and pork board out of this world . For deserts they made a mean version of tres leches that was fierce . I highly recommend.

The best hidden gem of London! I’ve been waiting to come back for a long time and it never disappoints. The best prawns in London, always pre order the carabineros. All the protein is top draw. And the starters are to die for too! To top it all off, Chef K is the most humble in the game. Keep it up my friend!

We visited the restaurant mid week. It is a small joint as others say, with tables crammed in. The team are also very slick so our turn around was barely over an hour, which is disappointing when you’re spending £100+. That said the food was stunning. I never order steak out as most places cannot serve it well but seeing bavette on the menu (which is what I cook at home) I went for it. It was AMAZING! Great food 🤩

I had seen a review of this restaurant on IG and thought the food looked delicious. I was not disappointed when my friend and I visited in person on a Friday night. It was busy and due to the restaurant size the tables are quite squeezed in together making conversation difficult at times. When the food arrived though, all these tiny misgivings were set aside. Delicious food, presented attractively and portion sizes are generous. We had the buttermilk chicken, octopus and grilled fish and couldn’t finish our mains Service was quick and attentive. Prices are reasonable for London… I will def be going back with more friends..!

Excellent meal last night. Had the meat platter for 2 and it was huge. Great meat and perfectly cooked. Came with corn on cob, chips and a very good salad. Finished with the Venezuela cake which was fabulous. Staff were friendly and professional.

The owner/manager has a manner and is awfully rude. They are hard to deal with. Food was ok, but would have enjoy it much more if the owner/manager did not ruin the dinner.

Good atmosphere and decent food, fair prices!

Food was good , well marinated octopus, prawn dish was really nice , meat was ok , not amazing but good enough. The main problem was the service , I mean those young guys probably doing their best but the service was poor unfortunately. My wife call the waiter 3 times for cutlery and he didn’t hear us I guess then I have increase my voice to call him which was a bit unpleasant.

This is a review from November, the food was delicious, hands down the best food I’ve had in Streatham. However, when the waitress served us the platter, she spilled lots of the juices from the meats all over my new t-shirt. At first she realised it and completely ignored it like nothing happened and walked away. Then I had to call her back and tell her she spilled the meat juices all over me, to which she replied , “what do you want me to do? (In a sarcastic way) it was an accident” and walked off. not the slightest apology. Because of this rude waitress I will rate the experience a 2/5. However, the younger waitress was much more polite and she even offered me a free tequila shot and apologised on her behalf before I left, doesn’t exactly compensate but at least she acknowledged the error her colleague had made

I visited Streatham Kitchen to celebrate my one year anniversary rather last minute. There were two hosts: Monica and another gentleman I didn't get the name of. Both were very polite, professional and friendly. We ordered the seafood platter which was just delicious, the seabass being the star of the show. The platter was enough for two, maybe three if you're starving but it was all very tasty and I'm looking forward to returning

My girlfriend and I have been here three times, and every visit was amazing. The food is always so tasty and perfectly seasoned. We’ve had the meat platter twice, which is great value for money and more than enough for two people. Another time, we tried the octopus and the burger, and they were both delicious! :) Three visits, and we loved it every single time! It’s quickly becoming our favorite spot in London. We’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!

Very nice experience. The black beans and plantain tasted wonderful. Nice to try a traditional Venezuelan dish. Keen to go back and try other items on the menu as well.

The reviews aren’t wrong, this place is a gem. Food was absolutely delicious, with the mains complimented by lovely side dishes and colourful, tasty salads and sauces. Portions are very generous and good value for London. We didn’t have a sharing platter but they looked amazing and huge! Relaxed friendly service and nicely buzzy, but not too loud atmosphere. Highly recommend. Too busy enjoying the food to take pictures!

The team kindly hosted our Friendsmas lunch for 12 on the weekend. The service was friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious and great value for money. Will be back and would highly recommend.

A restaurant that charges you £3 for a small tomato, £8.95 for 6 little balls of unidentifiable "mush" (we ordered the Spanish ham croquettes) and happily permits you to purchase a second bottle of vino then says "your time's up" leaves a bad taste in one's mouth .......

What can I say other than this place is amazing. My wife's brothers partner saw this on Tic Toc in the USA and added it to her wish list when they visited us in October. It was outstanding, an absolutely must visit. We went for dinner and had the, prawn and chorzio, holumi fries and spring rolls for starter between 4 of us. we then had the feast platter (recommended for 2 to 3 people). We could not eat it all, it was huge, the meat was of exceptional quality, served hot and juicy. 1 T bone stake, 3 lamb chops, 4 Chicken Thighs and two sausages, with a large salad, fries, slaw and dips, amazing. Our waiter and the hostess were amazing. The only small issue we have was being in the back room near the kitchen where the atmosphere was not as good at the main restaurant. More than compensated for by the deliciuos food.

atmospheric place with delicious food

We had my Brother in Law over from the states this week and his partner had seen this restaurant on Tick-tock. Very glad she did. We had a great experience here, the food and service were truly great. The place was full to bursting on a Tuesday night which speaks volumes in itself. The service was amazing, our waiter was always checking in that everything was good but not intrusive at all. We had three starters between four of us, the croquettes, hulomi fries and the Chorizo and prawn dish, all were very good, the prawn and chorizo was scrumptious. We followed this with the big meat platter, piled high, cooked to perfection and loads to eat. The only reason I have rated the atmosphere a little lower is that we were seated in a small back area by the kitchen and consequently it felt a little less vibrant than the front of house. This did not change our view that we will be coming back.

This restaurant is awesome, if you can sit in the front and don't have to order delivery, but if you can't, the likelihood is you won't have the same experience and with delivery the restaurant will either not be available or even if it is, your order will be cancelled within 40mins when it gets too busy despite scheduled delivery. We love this restaurant and love it to be local, but we have been let down too many times now to order again, hence the missing star

We go here fairly regularly, and the food and service is always exceptional. This is a place where everything on your plate and in your glass has been thought of carefully to make it as tasty as possible. They take care of people too - most recently I spent my 40th here and the whole team made it really special. I’m looking forwards to many more visits, and I can’t recommend Streatham Kitchen highly enough! Thanks a lot!

We had a great evening with awesome food and great service, I recommend to book a table it can get busy... The service is great we had Jack and Monica looking after us , thank you guys I really appreciate it. We choose a table at the back, it felt like a private room we absolutely loved it 😊. The restaurant decor ,the music and design all come together and compliment the dining experience.

This review is months overdue, but I had an excellent time at Streatham Kitchen. I ordered their bavette steak medium and it was absolutely exquisite. Cooked exactly as I requested and the meat was perfectly tender and intensely flavourful. It came with fries & corn which I thoroughly enjoyed, and I finished off the meal with their excellent brownie & ice cream. Highly recommend a visit to this great restaurant!

Excellent food and great service too.

I am confused as there are lots of 5 star reviews. We paid paid 130 pounds and barely got anything. The platter says 2 to 3 people !! 1 portion of chips between us?? Which is a small size for one person. 1 steak, 1 sausage, 1 black pudding, and a small bit of chicken. And 3 lamb chops Tasted OK. Very disappointed. You can dress it up as nice as you like but that is bad value for money. Edit: I see you have responded by saying you served us 2kg of meat Which is clearly a lie, looking at the picture i have attached. Obviously not 2 kgs of meat.

Huge portions. The scallops and the chicken burger were good. The service was attentive and friendly. I liked the decor.

Ok I’ll start off by saying I do feel a bit bad writing this, as the food quality was exceptional and the staff were lovely, and they allowed my dog in too, ….but unfortunately we left feeling ripped off and hungry. First off, don’t advertise a “sharing platter for 2/3 people” when you’re providing one basket of chips and a couple of different type of tiny sausages … which I had to cut up in to three measly slices for all of us, like a mother to a baby … The friendly waiter said the chips is “at least for two people”….brother you literally get that same basket of chips with a meal anywhere you go. There’s three of us here…. I mean I get it , overheads are through the roof these days, electric bill and rates sky high, ain’t easy, but how much does it cost to provide a couple extra sausages and chips ?? Logically speaking as well surely if you see there’s three men … a sausage for each, no? Not asking for much? So that platter was £75 ,that is 25 quid a head, and for that you got less meat than you would buying a single mains somewhere in Chelsea or Kensington. And that’s other thing , we are not talking fancy location, this is, let’s be honest, a sh*t hole part of town, and I’m saying that as a local. They’re clearly getting enough custom because of their high rating - which is why I came too. But I think given the prices, the rating is too high. Hence my review. Shame cos like I say, lovely people , lovely food, just ref ugee camp-sized portions. …we all got home and had to go on Uber Eats… Edit: Have shared my thoughts with friends and it appears that I’ve probably been a bit too nice about it… that was not 80 quids worth of meat in any universe..royally shafted! And I’ve seen other pictures of platters and they are far bigger. Have they only recently reduced the size ? Or were they low on meat that evening and we got unlucky ? They did they simply not like or trust us? Would love an answer.

Food was excellent, having two children with us we weren’t offered a children’s menu until the adults wanted to order! Also asked for table water several times but it never arrived, staff weren’t attentive and we had to ask for more drinks and for plates etc to be cleared. It’s not a cheap place but the food was excellent, suckling pig was amazing. But service in general was lacking.. having said this I would still got back as it was our first visit, to see if this was the norm..

My birthday meal was such an amazing time from starter, main and dessert. Because we enjoyed some of dishes so much we ordered more. Every dish was flavoursome and the presentation with perfection. The squid was the star of the show - never tasted squid SO tender, and full flavour. I was amazed, but not only the taste but how it was presented on the plate. Could tell the chef consider every detail. Highly recommend the dessert too I was blown away how well is complemented the food. Lasty, our waiter was awesome. He was attentive and friendly and gave us recommendations - we couldn't fault the service. 5/5 stars!! Highly recommend making the trip you won't regret it.

Amazing food, service, atmosphere and patience as our family started the night complaining that they wanted to go somewhere else but thankful we stayed and ate at Streatham Kitchen. Sweet potato chips, king prawns, salad and steaks were excellent.

This is the best meal we’ve had in London and maybe one of the best meals of my life. Everything in the plate was exceptional even the corn which I don’t normally like. The meat was absolutely sensational I cannot wait to come back.

A fantastic restaurant. The food was really delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked. All served with sauces, dips, salad, vegetables and chips. Everything you could possibly want. The dessert which was a lovely end to the meal was also great. Recommend the leche dessert - it was something new for us and delicious! The staff were really helpful and welcoming; the staff did everything they could to give us a great experience. The platters are generous! Everyone ate very well! We had a great time.

We preordered the suckling pig and it was the best I've ever had: crispy skin, tender meat, beautiful gravy and potatoes. We couldn't finish it and it was still good the next day.

Honestly the best steak I have ever had in the UK. It was unreal and unmatched. Salted to perfection and the sausages were insane too. I have thought about that every day of the week since 🤤

We help our Supper Club at Streatham Kitchen last Sunday and we pre-ordered the Suckling Pig for the group. We had some calamari, halloumi and the cerviche for starters, to accompany the pig we had the bavette steak and the pulled pork with stewed beans which was delicious. The show and presentation of the meals were top notch and we thoroughly stuffed ourselves. If you are looking for a little bit of theatre with the pig then this is the place, they also have other meat and seafood platters. A beer and bottle of wine set the meal perfectly.

The best dinner you can buy in Streatham. Small, perfectly executed menu. Generous portions and friendly efficient service. Wine list is small and unremarkable, but the food more than makes up for this deficit. Not many tables, so booking is probably essential.

Can easily rival the best in Central London. The location is less than ideal, but the food more than makes up for it. The chef is a culinary master. Every dish was excellent. Generous portions so come hungry. Was busy on a Tuesday so book ahead. Service was friendly and considerate. Hope to see this restaurant proliferate to new restaurant branches. Can’t imagine how good the burgers are and look forward to coming back.
