I get my coffee from here as it tastes great, is well made, and I don't have to wait in a massive queue. Stopped for a few beers once, and that was decent as well. Staff are nice and normally have time for a quick chat.

I had the most amazing time at the Bennie green, lovely views of the Thames and also fabulous drinks made by the lovely Kaydee who insured we all had a great time !

Visited last week. Theo the Barman was brilliant. He had the champions league final playing on his laptop. Without him we would have missed the game!

Reljo is an expert bartender with a witty personality and a jolly nature, I have never felt more welcome going for a drink. Keep up the good work ! Can't wait to return as soon as possible for a slice or two of banana bread and five coffees !

I’ve known Theo a while and he recommended me to come visit this place. It’s a very cute converted shipping container serving a taste selection of local beers and great coffee. Would recommend to anyone in the area

Had such a lovely afternoon on Saturday having some drinks here. Theo and Relio were just awesome and really made a great atmosphere and great service.

Best place for coffee and cake on Southbank! Theo, Lucas, Kamil and Relio are exceptional baristas, with a great knowledge of the area and provide warm company on even the rainiest of days. Beany Green has loads of tables with covers and heaters, so you can take a leisurely seat and watch the world go by.

Nice spot for lunch. The food is always delicious. The coffees, tea and fruit juices are great too. Love this restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Had a few hours to kill in London while we waited for a train, found Beany Green. Great atmosphere, heat lamps kept us warm, Theo the bar tender had great banter and good service all round. Would recommend to all my mates.

Oh mate. The best coffee shop around Southbank. The quality of coffee is interstellar. Hidden gem and a haven oasis for coffee lovers and they’ve got seats with heat lamps!! Can’t miss this.

In London you'll find a personal favourite place of mine. The best place to buy coffees and fantastic tasting IPA's. I have been a regular for 3 years now, and I must say, this place gets better and better each and every time I visit. Since the reopening, the new team of Relio, Lucas and Theo have been extremely kind and welcoming to me. They greet me with a smile on their face whenever I visit. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a superb atmosphere and a good time!

Fantastic little takeaway spot just outside the royal festival hall. Great place to go for coffee to get away from hoards of people inside the building. Theo the barista working there was very friendly and welcoming. He tried his best to make an animal design for our son’s hot chocolate which made him very happy. Would recommend this place to anyone venturing into the Southbank area.

It's an outside coffeeshop made from a shipping container with not much seating (just two stools for waiting) but they truly do have the best coffee in all of London!

So glad to see the Beanies pop up bar back at Royal festival hall. Have stopped here for years for a cheeky beer on the way into town. It’s a fun spot and now they have proper seating which is an improvement. The tables in the sun are hard to get and there aren’t any toilets (use portacabins below or Royal fest hall). Hope this place is always there

A great place in the summer with some outdoor seating. Prices are fairly reasonable. I wouldn’t recommend for larger groups as there isn’t table service. We stopped here after London pride and had a relaxing drink to enjoy together and met some lovely tourists.

Lovely outdoor bar on the South Bank with great cocktails! Their Long Island iced tea is a personal favourite. Visited many times and have always been very happy with the drinks and service. There are two small seating areas, one each side of the bar, which can get full quite quickly. In the summer though I find it's nice to take drinks to go and stand by the river. The bar itself is a repurposed shipping container that is nestled perfectly below the Golden Jubilee Bridges.

Went for coffee and beers. Decent flat white and good choice of IPAs. Very friendly service. Not the best view of the river but nice little area that you can sit out at. Will definitely go back if I am in the area.

A little gem on South Bank. Stopped for one drink and ended up staying for the whole evening. Buzzy atmosphere and the bar manager made us feel so welcome we didn’t want to leave. Nice tables in the shade made the heatwave more bearable.

We went here for a beer before going on elsewhere and I have to say this was the nicest, friendliest welcome we could ask for. Happy people behind the bar, knowledgable about the beers they were selling and the Backstage IPA was without doubt the best beer I had all week, and I had had some other good ones. Sat in the middle of all the chaos going on around the area on a deck chair, chilling with a beer in the sun. You could not beat it for me. Not cheap but worth every penny. My go to place on a hot sunny afternoon next time we are in London. Definitely recommend.

A 'large coffee' is smaller than a regular coffee at any other shop, didn't have sweetner or semi skimmed milk, come on guys 🙄

Spent a lovely hour in shade, sipping cool drinks from this place. Nice to get out of the sunshine without having to go inside, so it’s a lovely spot if you’re lucky enough to get a bench. Good selection of beers, ciders and soft drinks in the ice bucket if you prefer. Right next to the Southbank Centre.

OMG!! Amazing coffee , I have never had a Baileys coffee before great suggestion guys , I had a rainbow lamminton which is basically a perfect sponge cake We chose well here , the girls behind the counter had brilliant positive personalities and endured our whinges about another venue that we had breakfast in previously that day, sorry about that ladies, you should know you are great listeners too. We had a couple of tremendous flat whites and hot chocolates here. The service was friendly (they offered a slightly cooler hot chocolate for the kids) and the drinks were delicious. I would definitely stop here again.

Great spot for a nice hot or cold drink. The prices are really good and it's great to sit and watch the world go by. They sell great cocktails, beer, mulled wine and alcoholic hot chocolate

Situated on a nice spot by the river by the Royal Festival Hall I found £3.20 for a pretty small coffee a bit steep even for central London. The latte could have been a bit hotter as well so not a very good experience all round unfortunately.

Great coffee amidst the options nearby, Lamington's that are calorific but OMG and the noise of passing trains but cool location. Go try!

Only here for a short stop to enjoy a glass of wine by the canal at little Venice whilst waiting for our canal cruise but it was a delightful spot to while away the time people watching The wine was very good and the staff and ambiance very pleasant Will return if we could stay longer and maybe enjoy the food on offer

Had a really lovely time at Beany Green! The drinks were lovely, especially the house chai latte! Brock was our waiter and he was so attentive! He made recommendations and was so warm and friendly! He definitely made the experience so enjoyable! He is a real gem! 😊

We were looking for a place to get a drink before dinner and although it was a bit cold to sit outside, this place just called to us! We had the best espresso martinis and they even did my son a hot chocolate that he loved. The bar staff were so friendly and laid back and it really was a little gem of a find.

My sister Bernie and I always go there for cocktails when we meet in London for lunch. Olivia, the manager, is a fabulous host. Olivia and the staff make us feel very welcome and special. The 🍸 cocktails are great too. Best place to drink in London, even in the rain!! Bernie(81) and myself(73) are called the Woo Who Girls by the staff. I wonder why?? The warm and friendly staff and great cocktails is an experience not to be missed. Deserves 10 stars!!

Easy one. Just in the right place, on your path, while walking alongside Thames river. Worth giving a try!
