The best restaurants in Welwyn Hatfield East of England

Usually lovely staff, but went there today to get a coffee; but saw a big guy getting coffee out from the coffee bin and reusing that, it’s sad that he is scamming people that don’t know how coffee is made. Completely put me off buying g a coffee today

It's a Costa, so food and drink is as expected, however, the staff in here are always miserable and too busy talking to each other to engage properly with the customer.

One thing was excellent the pizza’s arrived Hot! Well done

Honestly this is the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had in my life. It was so bad we returned all the food and got our money back. I really do not recommend going here. Everything is so bland and plain. Also the portions are tiny for how much they charge. Avoid at all costs.

Lovely choice of food & ales, plus reasonable priced. Has a nice outdoor terracel to watch the world go by

The service was very slow. We will not be returning any time soon. It took an age from start to finish. Ages to get seated, served drinks as bad served food. Staff didn’t seem at all interested or bothered about the delay.

This pub was a really good find. Served by friendly staff. There is plenty of outdoor seating front and back (lovely garden) with BBQ area, outdoor sheltered TV, and several cosy pods. Nice eating area in doors. Spacious bar area with plenty of drink choices.

Great job guys …. Yet again a tasty meal as when we need it . Yes !👍

We booked as part of the dine and stay package.we was a little confused on arrival as there was no one at reception and the place seemed completely empty. In the end I called a number and then someone came and checked us in. The room was very spacious however fairly unclean and could do with updating. We had a dinner booking at 7 and left our room and followed the signs to the “restaurant” where we waited for 10 minutes and again there was no staff, we had to go walking and try and find people . Once we were seated the service was fine and meal was nice.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE !!!!!!. I had a voucher to get a free kids meal when i buy a footlong so i showed it to the employee and he said yes this offer existed in this particular store, so i proceeded to buy a footlong and waited. i was told to pay by staff before the food was ready so i paid but just then the "manager" (bear in mind had complete customer attire no subway branded clothing) walked in to the counter and scolded the employee that he didn't add the offer to my order and since i paid i was told to come back and get this deal next time. I stood my ground and said you told me before i ordered that this deal was included in this store and now your saying i cant use is after i have paid. Eventually after half an hour of the manager fiddling with the cash register he told me he will include the meal for free as if i was begging for a free meal. The staff were completely unpleasant and rude from the get go speaking in their own language (probably about me).

Every visit here we have had a great meal & last night was no exception. We enjoy the poppadums & dips for starters then share 2 mains with a rice. One of the best chicken kormas in the area 😋. Staff are very friendly & prices reasonable with an extensive menu. No trouble getting a same day booking either.

Terrible. I have ordered mix kebab Large size.. look at the size of the portion. They charge £17 for this. On top of lamb was burnt. This is the first and last time order. Even the taste is not good.
