The best restaurants in Whitton Waveney East of England

Wow, What a fish & chip shop as simply awesome, Very friendly owner as very nice staff, Great prices & as for the fish & chips , 10 out of 10, I am some would say a fussy eater, Everything is spot on here & the curry sauce is just fab too, The is by far the best fish & chip shop i have been too thus far......

This bar and restaurant was very disappointing. The food was not good and the menu was really basic. The scampi was undercooked and all the meals we ordered were of a poor standard and came with piles of chips. A bit more variety on the menu would be good. Extremely disappointing and there are far better places in the area to eat.

The Wherry hotel is a beautiful restaurant and hotel. The views from the hotel are stunning a lovely place for a cold pint in the sun or having meal as the sunsets 😍

Absolutely freezing cold, chips like warmed up crusty afternoon left overs! Cold pie, cold fatty fish! Late delivery, SHOCKING.

A fabulous dog friendly cafe. Superb customer service from Daisy. The scones were delicious and George the dog lived his sausage.

What a joke ordered 2 kebabs and wedges but never received wedges we got chips instead for some reason so wasn't happy about that. Also I asked for no onions on one of the kebabs as my partner is allergic to them but both of the kebabs turned up with onions. I tried ringing them a few times from 2140 for 5 mins but no answer and my partner tried ringing but no answer but the takeaway doesn't shut until 10 pm maybe later on a Sunday but not sure so will not be using them again as money was wasted as had to waste a meal this is not right.

food was amazing! very tasty, arrived piping hot. great price. we were all very impressed and would highly recommend!

Requested a large chips but got given what appeared to be a medium sized portion and get this - they charged me £3.50 for it! I couldn't believe it. This is LOWESTOFT! Not LONDON! Stop ripping off your customers and overcharging! I won't be coming back.

We were looking for somewhere to have lunch as we were having a boat trip on the Wavely. Found this place. Well the first thing that greeted you was the smell of chip fat. We did not know the area and time was short, we went in and ordered two jacket potatoes (good quality potatoes however Luke warm on arrival, I also ordered a tea and a black coffee with milk on the side(a simple enough drink), however when it came it was a shot of coffee and a jug of milk I took it back and asked for it to be filled up with HOT water, this again was tepid. by now I had given up. (I will give the girl the benefit of the doubt with Black coffee) perhaps I should have said Americano. Last but not least I asked how much the cake cost (which looked as if it had been in the display containers for a long time) by the time it was passed to three of the youngsters (from me to you a bit like the Chuckle Brothers)!! I gave up. A place I certainly would not recommend.
