Absolutely fantastic! We are visiting Lowestoft for a family holiday and had lunch here on our second day. What a find! The staff were lovely and the food was DELICIOUS! My nieces said their tuna paninis were the best they had ever eaten - high praise! We will definitely visit again before we leave. Thank you!

The staff do not know how to make the different coffees, I had an alleged cappuccino unfortunately it was nothing like it. The sandwich was good. It was quite apparent the place hadn't been cleaned for a significant period. The tables were left with used plates and cups and when cleared the tables were not cleaned or sanitised. There were dogs eating of a table and locking the table. It was disgusting. I will not be going back.

Sandwich was good. Coffee not very hot. Was supposed to be cappuccino but had no froth on top. Sat an hour in there not one was wiped after dirty crockery removed from tables. Dogs eating off tables was quite disgusting 🫣

After waiting 10 minutes to Order and 30 Minutes for food to arrive (seems to be standard nowadays) the food was excellent. The lady behind the Counter was very good but rushed off her feet. What were the other staff doing(youngsters). We had to wipe our table down and move previous plates etc to another table and in all the time we were there including eating our meal no one came to take anything away. The member of staff who brought our meals twice walked past the used plates cups etc when walking back to the cafe.

We have visited here a few times now, and have never been disappointed. The cafe is perfectly located, fresh and clean, bright and airy, with lovely friendly staff. Visited today, my husband had the full breakfast and I had cheese on toast. Both were presented exceptionally. My husband says that the breakfast was the best he’s ever had!! (I won’t take offence), and the sausages and bacon were cooked to perfection! He also has an unhealthy obsession with the Diet Coke!!!! It’s always served ice cold. The cheese on toast was an absolute dream! Very cheesy!! Cannot recommend this cafe enough! It’s a real gem and such a find! We will definitely be visiting again when we are next in the area.

Very pricey and rude staff , would I go to the cafe again if ever in the area absolutely not . It's a pity as in a lovely location

Came here with my sister and 3 year old granddaughter today My sister chose cheese jacket potato and I had the ham jacket potato I asked for beans instead of coleslaw they were happy to change I ordered my granddaughter chips and wanted to share my ham and beans with her My sisters jacket potato was not hot enough to melt her cheese and my granddaughters chips were dark brown and crunchy so overcooked she couldn’t use a fork I mentioned this to a staff member who really couldn’t care less about my comments I wouldn’t go back here in a hurry that’s for sure Very disappointed with our lunch

I thought I had found a piece of heaven in this little coffee shop until today, I ordered 2 breakfast and what a disappointment, the mushrooms had been deep fried, the eggs and bacon were very greasy, the sausage very dark on the outside yet okay in the middle, the tomato was burnt, I had to leave a lot of mine as I started to feel sick with the grease, I visit quite often and it's the first time it's been like this, the mushrooms are usually perfectly cooked, the last review I did I gave them 5 stars but sorry not this time, I know you were busy but your high standards shouldn't drop, I also can not understand why you only stamp the coffee club card once when there are 2 of us it's the only place I visit that only stamp once for 2 coffee's

The cafe is set in a beautiful location overlooking the broads, the cafe itself is a great place for the excellent meals or just a coffee/beer with friends. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly & I couldn't find anything at fault at all and would highly recommend a visit or two.👍 Lewis A Kingaby..

Food good staff very friendly. Our only complaint is that the tables need a good clean as they were very sticky. Our cups and plates were stuck to the table. The staff were just standing around chatting when they could have been cleaning the tables.

Went into the cafe for a coffee and cake with some friends last Saturday afternoon and the service I received by the two younger ladies was just lovely I wish I got their names , the cakes were delicious and it was an all round great experience and I will have no problems recommending this to other family and friends

Stopped here after we had been on the ferry ride round the broads. It was busy as it was lunchtime. The ladies behind the counter were excellent, so very organised and served people quickly. We had a lovely coffee, scone and ice cream, staff were pleasant, at the moment you can only sit outside, what was impressive is that when anybody left there table it was immediately cleaned by the staff.

Although we only had a cuppa in the Park Cafe, which was very nice and well priced. The surronding parkland, broad and environment is really a lovely place, and provides a great area for a stroll before indulging in the delights from the cafe!

If you like scones overcooked, instant coffee then this is the place for you. Tacky and outdated, heard it's up for sale and good job too. Needs revamping and bringing up to speed. Wish I'd of spent my money in one of the other cafes outside the park.

Although a local I had never been to this cafe until last week when I went for a late breakfast with three friends. It was a nice day so we sat in the outside area overlooking the park and broads.We all enjoyed what we had and found everything was of a high standard and good value.

Been here a few times now and have to say the food is amazing...especially the broads breakfast and lasagne...all the staff are so lovely and friendly..in particular Chrissy and Shaz... if you are in the area you really should check it out!

My family visited Nicholas Everitt Park and Cafe at the start of September. The park is located on the South side of Oulton Broad with plenty of parking (some free on the road). It’s well looked after with a great kids play area and nice walks. The cafe serves a good range of food and drinks which are reasonably priced considering the location. Possibly only open from April to September?

Good food served here and reasonably priced. Good place to stop for lunch. Seating inside and out.can sit with dogs at outside area and always bowls of water for them. Great staff.

The cafe is a nice spot to stop while visiting the park. There are both inside and outside seating areas and some under cover of gazebos for shade in the warmer weather. There is also an outside kiosk serving soft drinks, ice creams and selling some children’s toys. The only negative for those with dogs is that you cannot take your dog inside the cafe to order food or drink, so either need to have someone with you or would need to leave your dog outside. The outside kiosk only sells ice creams and soft drinks and not coffees. It would be improved if food and drinks could be ordered both inside and outside but other than that, it is a nice cafe to visit.

My husband and I visited the cafe last week with our pooch. With blazing sunshine we were really pleased to find a table under cover. We opted for the Farmhouse platter to share with a side of chips. The platter was lovely , nice thick slices of home cooked beef , "proper" ham , pate arranged nicely with a side salad , chunky granary bread , coleslaw and a lovely chutney. The side order of chips was plentiful . The prices in the cafe were very reasonable and the service friendly and pleasant.

Fantastic cafe for breakfast, good coffee, would definitely recommend. Plenty of outside seating as well.

On Thursday 28 June 2018, myself my Mother and Uncle had lunch at this Cafe; we ordered 3 Cromer Crab sandwiches at £6.95 each. At first bite both myself and my Mother did not like the flavour, texture or smell of the Crab (my Uncle ate all his sandwich but it was not what he was expecting but he was very hungry). When I spoke to the lady at the counter and told her that we were unhappy with the sandwich she was very dismissive and said that the Crabs had been delivered the previous day and that she had sold 6 Crab sandwiches that morning (whether they had been eaten or not is another story!). As well as the poor quality of food, the customer service consisted of the counter assistant saying "Bless you" and reeling off how many had been sold that day - no apology or offer of an alternative was forthcoming. It is my opinion that the world-wide reputation of the Cromer Crab was compromised at this establishment, the day we visited.

Went here for lunch, drinks were nice but the food let me down. I felt like the tuna mayo sandwich was prepared in a rush and the pie wasn’t as good as I thought. Also, there wasn’t much hygiene awareness. Not really eager to come back here but could try other meals instead.

Dog friendly, lovely staff and amazing homemade Banana Loaf. Look forward to visiting again and sampling more homemade delights.

We've been visiting this cafe for about 12 plus years, whenever we are in the area on holiday or a day trip (we live 2 hours away), but often come to visit the goats at the nearby Pets Corner. There is such a large choice on the menu, and whatever we have ordered over the years, we have always been very happy with the portion size and the quality of the food. Yesterday my son had "catch of the day" fish and chips ... and the fish was huge! My daughter opted for a burger with added cheese, and the cheese was "real" grated cheese, not that cheap burger cheese like most places supply. My husband and I opted for the roast beef. We love their roast dinners! You get a lot of different vegetables ... yesterday we had organic carrots (I could tell they were organic by the taste), broccoli, cabbage, peas, parsnips and cauliflower. As well as the potatoes.

We visited Oulton Broad and after a nice play in the park for the kids and a run around for us we decided to stop and have a drink and a snack. The lady serving was lovely and really friendly. It was quite quiet and the service was good. It is an odd place, quite old fashioned, but it was pleasant. It had a nice outside seating area too, which was good to watch the world go by.

A friendly cafe with good service. In the middle of the park so you can nip in while having a day out with the family. A range of sandwiches, cooked food and snacks. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous value for money and a range of yummy food presented very carefully. I just wish they were also open in the evening. Lovely out door seating with views across the park including the bandstand.

Service was about average, but a little less chat between staff and more with customers would be good. All in all, 'Very Good' for a Cafe, but not able to score 'Excellent'. This is a fantastic little cafe! We had a wonderful breakfast with delicious sausages and the children demolished their scrambled eggs and toast. We sat outside with our dog and had lovely views of the park. Great stop for yummy home cooked food any time of a day, or just for tea/coffee, cakes and scones or fantastic ice cream!! Very busy with many satisfied customers.

Food and drink was great but felt uncomfortable as staff were talking about their boss and how they disagree with things they say so they do their own thing when the boss not in, e.g undercutting prices etc.

A cafe with lots of potential that's in the middle of a beautiful park. There was nobody in the ice cream shop and our simple order of coffee and cakes seemed to be a bit of a chore for the lady that served us. Whilst I was queuing I had the pleasure of listening to the same lady bad mouth one of the customers she'd just served. A great way to lose customers.

This is a nice place to have a coffee and scone,they was both fine and it was a really nice location to sit and watch the boats on the water and children playing in park. The staff was pleasant and attentive. Did not have a meal but looked at food going out and it looked good, will come back for a meal.

Went for a day out with the wife and daughter, was a very busy day as there was a power boat racing event on the broads. Upon entering the restaurant the que was very long, the staff managed well and we're always demonstrated that they enjoyed what they were doing and it seemed customer satisfaction was one of their main concerns.We ordered the Sunday roast, the meal was very satisfying and more than enough forOne.

This is not the first time that we have eaten here. The Sunday Roast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We decided to eat inside this time but we have eaten outside before. We went on a Sunday and their was live music opposite the cafe which was very enjoyable.

This is a lovely cafe next to the Everitt Park . Well worth a visit just for the ice cream alone. Suitable for all ages

Lovely park located by the Broads, excellent for days out with the kids! However, don't let your dogs off the lead if they love water and you don't want to be taking home a soggy dog!

We waited and waited while waitress ignored us while washing down work top and eventually gave up and went elsewhere. Will never go there again.

Visited this venue whilst at Everitt Park with daughters and grandchildren. Children wanted to sit upstairs but no windows that we could see and very warm and a little uncomfortable; admittedly it was a hot and humid day. Tables were sticky to the touch; probably due to the cleaning chemical used to sanitize them. Food was reasonable although two of our party had a ham salad and the ham, although plentiful, had a lot of fat. Those of us that had chips found them dry but acceptable. There were 8 of us sitting at two tables joined together but the basin containing, the sauces, brought with the meals, only included 4 sachets of vinegar and 4 of salad cream. We did ask for more but were only offered two more sachets of each. One of our party was required to ask for more. This would not have been such an issue but we had just spent over £44 in total. A saving grace was the friendliness of those members of staff with whom we came into contact with. All in all we had a reasonable visit and the attitude of staff saved the day just gaining a V Good result. Would go again if in the area but would carefully consider our menu options.

Ordered 3 meals, 2 came wrong. When we questioned the waitress, we were told she doesn't know what was ordered, she just gets the slip sent through. Not the friendly helpful attitude I was expecting! Offered to sort 1 meal out but not the other ( I only ordered a toastie and got a sandwich instead, no big deal but didn't offer to toast it for us) Food was good for the prices, nice to sit outside and look at the park on a summers day. Would visit again if asked but wouldn't choose to go there again, customer service is nowhere where it should be. A shame as it let itself down

Lovely place to sit on a nice day, views of the broads and boats going past. Service and food was very good. Not busy when we were there so plenty of free tables some of which are inside and some covered by gazebos outside with glass screens around if its windy. Long time since we have been but we thoroughly enjoyed it.

We were down the park, thought we would have lunch. The food was exceptional, the staff were very friendly. The best roast we have has out in a long time, we will be returning very soon.

We went into this cafe hoping to get some lunch but they had absolutely nothing that was gluten free, not even the obligatory prepacked gluten free cake which would have done. So we walked straight out. If one of us can't eat then none of us are going to eat there!

Lovely to sit outside where dogs are welcome ,good food and cakes, clean and welcoming no loud music which is a joy these days . I have enjoyed my visits

Took my three year old niece here for a treat. First time I've been and I was impressed. Very traditional decor with horse brasses, painted plates and photos of Wherry Boats. We had muffins, a chocolate and a berry one. They were really tasty and huge. The tea was very good as well. I thought it was a tad pricey at over £8 for our order but it was a one off treat. There seemed to be a good choice on the menu. From roasts to afternoon tea. And a veggie choice as well. Would visit again.

We live close by so have been there a couple of times, each time we wasnt impressed so now we use the other cafe which is by the bandstand. The first mentioned cafe, we ordered our meals. All the meals came except for mine, there were 7 of us. When almost everyone had finished i asked if mine was going to be much longer. I was told that i must have been mistaken & eaten it. Another member of staff came out with our order slips & said one had fallen down behind something & hadnt been cooked. There was no apology from the lady who had basically called me a liar!! We wouldnt eat there again.

This great little café serves everything from chips to high afternoon tea to a roast dinner. Great service, lovely home cooked food and a lovely view over the park. Plenty of sheltered outside seating too.Do try the ice creams from the little shop........ they do an amazing array of toppings!

We were getting hungry so as we were on the park to let the children play on the swings etc. we didn't have far to go. There was a good selection to choose from. The young lady that served us was really happy and helpful. The meals were great value for money, being old enough I had a pensioners special, which came with a dessert, for just £4.95. Living not far away, I will certainly be going back.

Myself & two friends had a very reasonably priced lunch here. £4.95 for a main course + ice cream dessert, for senior citizens.. Comfortably sheltered outside area, overlooking the Broads, pleasant staff, even water pots put down for dogs. Ideal for all ages and pets.
