Moss and Co at Broadlands in Waveney

This is not a review regarding food ( as you will understand after reading) I had reserved a table for Mother’s day lunch but unfortunately my mother of 96 didn’t feel to well on the morning, so I had to cancel, at very short notice, the booking was for 1pm and made the cancellation phone call at 9.15 am, understanding it was Mothering Sunday and you may have to had turned booking away and never took covering deposit from me, i offered to pay a cancellation deposit per person which I think would have been fair as on one of there busiest days of the year 🙏🤞but the lovely lady I spoke to said this was not necessary and which I think regarding the hospitality situation at the moment was impeccable, But the final comment was that wishing my mother well and hoping she well feel better soon which was so kind and sweet Customer Service At Its Best North Norfolk/ Burnham Market could learn a few things from your attitude

We visited for a special birthday celebration we were seated and the young man took our orders, we ordered the Sunday roast and my daughter ordered the ‘Bucket’ of southern fried chicken, when the food arrived it was very lack lustre service and very few pleasantries, I have never had a Sunday roast in a bowl before, the food was ok a bed of cabbage, 3 little roast potatoes 1 skinny carrot 1 skinny parsnip and the beef was so chewy, the food was ok just not very much of it, my daughters ‘bucket’ of chicken consisted of 3 skinny goujons lots of fries and the smallest paper cup of slaw it just was not worth the money, all in all very disappointing.

We had our Christmas party for 64 people The food was delicious and all came out hot and together, they catered for special dietary requirements, very impressed with the service, . All aspects of the evening from start to finish were excellently managed by Abbey and her team. All Staff were friendly and so helpful. I would recommend for any party occasion.

We held my daughters 40th birthday party here. All aspects of the day from start to finish were excellently managed by Abbey and her team. The food supplied for the buffet was fantastic and very very generous. We were well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble, and it was a lovely atmosphere that was warm and welcoming. It made us feel relaxed and at home. I would recommend the team and venue to anyone. My daughter was over the moon with her birthday party. We, as a whole family, would like to say thank you to Moss and Co, and to the team at Broadlands.

Very disappointed.ordered fish and chips which was okish but not worth £16 The batter was wet underneath and not cooked long enough.the mushy peas were cold.My friend also had fish and chips and hers wasn’t up to standard either her peas were also cold.We did complain to the waiter who said he would tell the chef.We had to wait for condiments to be put on the table ages after the food was put on the table.

We went here today for Sunday breakfast Upon walking in, there was a couple at another table. No staff members about for a few minutes. Although we could hear a lot of noise coming from the kitchen area. When someone finally came through, we were able to place an order for breakfast, not Before the the other in there complained how long they had already waited. It then appeared that there order had not been put through. They were not happy and then asked for a refund and left. When our breakfast arrived it was delicious and plentiful We felt there was no atmosphere today, maybe some music on in the background Have visited before but today we were disappointed with the service.

Went to the Marina in the morning, then fancied some food. Went across to the Broadlands pub for some food and heard some shouting at the back of the pub. My partner and I were put off from eating there after listening to a woman shouting at a staff member which is not professional. No idea about the food, but not spending money with staff acting like that.

What a fabulous evening we had last night in the function room for my dad’s surprise 90th birthday. The food was lovely & nothing was too much trouble for Abbey & her team. Thank you all for making it a memorable night.

We were meant to meet someone for lunch elsewhere but it was closed for a wedding. This is a very pleasant place to have a relaxed lunch. Nicely cooked and generous portions.

Fabulous lunch for friends birthday bash. Salmon with green beans, followed by roasted pineapple with raspberry coulomb s and coconut sorbet and several g&t’s. Reece was friendly and efficient as well as Paddy, the chef , serving excellent delicious food. Par excellence. Only gripe were the outside benches as people of a certain age prefer chairs. 5 ⭐️

We went there or Sunday lunch for two weeks running. The food was delicious and presented really well. There was plenty of it and we could not fault it at all. The chicken was really tasty and the beef was extremely tender. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Another great dinner exelent service took five of my family there they were very impressed great place to drink and eat 👍

went to there race night it was so well run and the staff were so fast at there service at the bar had food on the night abbey the manager was so good at her job a very good asset to moss and co .cant wate for the next one keep up the great work and thank you
