Really disappointed, we ordered 4 pizzas online and they were listed as 2 for £25, when we paid we were charged £56. The pizza was late and not very nice, plastic cheese, did ring up and left a message for a call back to explain why we were overcharged but no response. Would not return

The most friendly coffee shop in Saffron Walden. Always a great welcome. Delicious food and a good selection of cakes. Coffee always excellent. Would definitely recommend.

This has to be the best cafe (apart from Pav's stand in Bishop's Stortford) in the area. The quiche is to die for best I have ever eaten and all Pav's baked fare is so delicious. The cafe is quirky, food and drink amazing and service outstanding.

Before lock down, we used to eat out every now and again. Now, that's not an option, but Prepped seems like a great alternative. We ordered the beef chop for two with a bottle of wine. That was a salad starter, huge beef chop with chips, sauce, spinach etc and chocolate brownies. We checked that everything was gluten free because I am a coeliac and that was no problem. It was delivered to our door as described and it was easy to cook. Absolutely delicious. I didn't take any photos because we were too busy eating and enjoying it!

Lovely venue, open for dinner Friday evenings and Saturday lunch. Lovely venue in the nicest part of Saffron Walden. Fantastic service and a really warm welcome. Delicious bread followed by plate after plate of unusual tapas, my favourite was the lobster. Reasonably priced wine and very tasty desserts. Will definitely return and recommend.

Delicious chocolate vegan cake, great quantity of tea for one person, the oat milk which was given to me was nice and creamy! More importantly though the service was great. I walked past the shop initially but decided to go back because the young woman stood at check out desk made a point to smile at people walking by. Had a pretty rubbish start to my day so I went in to treat myself. A nice piece of cake, friendly conversation with the staff, and how cosy and cute it is in the shop combined put me in a better mood. Will definitely return to this establishment in future.

Fantastic food, the small plates and pasta were delicious. Drinks, especially the forest vermouth, were outstanding and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Great venue and highly recommend.

Would recommend the prawn casserole! Very tasty! Swapped to rice as GF option. Would love for the mint tea to be more fresh but nice anyway! Lovely evening with friends.

This is now a bistro called monteys, I had a chilli jacket and treated myself to a glass of wine. Both were lovely, chilli jacket filled me up till dinner and the wine went down a treat. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I will defiantly return

I went for lunch and had a goats cheese salad . It was delicious and massive! I didn’t know whether to eat it or climb it ! I thoroughly enjoyed it and was absolutely stuffed by the time I left . They were also really accommodating to be allergies and the staff were charming .

My favourite cafe in Saffron Walden. The owner is so welcoming and the staff are attentive. The menu is so varied and all delicious. Portions are generous and threat value for money. Always busy and a great atmosphere. Don’t miss out on his great place.
