The best restaurants in Clarence St Albans East of England

Another fantastic meal at Laurel House. Everything was absolutely delicious. The kids all had burgers which they loved and I had chicken which had an excellent peri peri kick! The chips are amazing!!

Lovely Hotel restaurant which I have never visited before. Although our visit was a sombre occasion the restaurant was beautiful and the meals and staff were exceptional. I would recommend The Belvedere for any special occasion!

Great food and the waitress was truly amazing, nothing was too much. So a big thanks to Alida and the rest of the team for a wonderful dinner!

Nice selection of meals with non vegetarian, vegetarian and vegan options. I enjoyed the mackerel open sandwich with bettroot and basque cheesecake. There is always plenty of greenery with the lunches. Loved the iced coffee too. A wide range of anges observed there.

Would give a 3.5 if I could, got upgraded to a 4 in the end by the kids. Good points - clean, kids liked the cookie dough desserts Bad points - constant stream of delivery drivers which makes the wait seem longer when you’re dining in. It took too long at night for just 2 desserts, but loads of delivery orders went out instead. Also, no kids portions. £8 for a cookie dough dessert means, for a family, you’ll just share what your kids have (as the portions are too big for them so they’ll be wasted), rather than them having a small portion and you choosing your own.

Lunch while reading a newspaper. Absolutely lovely neighborhood café serving a small selection of tasty food, by attentive staff. Also excellent cheese and deli produce carefully selected.

The absolute creme de la creme of takeaways in St Albans. You cannot beat Plantopia for food quality and value for money (especially with a cheeky promo code). Honestly, top work guys. We will keep coming back again and again and again!! Up there with Mildred's as my favourite ever Vegan food - but without the hefty price tag,

Had a lovely latte in the snug overlooking the park. Comfortable chair. The staff were genial and helpful. Toilets were clean. Found the time in the restaurant relaxing.
