Hello, The food was really tasty. It was cooked on Point. The price of the food was very cheap. It is a good place to have your food if you don't want to break your bank.

Great meal, all 9 of us had a great time. Food is always full of flavour and generously portioned.

Dining at The Oasis was like taking a culinary trip to Lebanon! I was amazed by the authenticity of the food. The kofta was succulent, and the shawarma was seasoned beautifully. The baklava dessert was the perfect ending to the meal—sweet and flaky, just how I like it. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the service was impeccable. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Service was generally polite, though there were noticeable delays in getting our orders and refills. We felt like our server was juggling too many tables, which might explain the slower service. The Oasis has a lot of potential, and perhaps my visit was an off day. The setting is fantastic, and I’d be willing to give it another chance, hoping for an improved dining experience

I recently dined at Oasis Restaurant, and it was a refreshing experience. The welcoming atmosphere and stylish décor set the stage for a wonderful meal. Incredible value lunch menu. I come here every week now and the service is really good and the lunch menu has great variety, would really recommend the halloumi and honey on pitta bread.

This is a great find. Good food, full of flavour and huge portions. Everything arrives piping hot by great waiting staff who are warm, friendly and polite. The meat is all halal. A fantastic atmosphere for lunch or dinner.

In a Chinese restaurant in St Albans district, the roast lamb is the most outstanding.

It didn't taste like middle eastern food. They didn't know how the drinks are to be made. The food lacked taste, service was bad too. I have stayed in middle East for the past 16 years and I literally had tears in my eyes when I tasted the food cause it was that bad. Do not recommend!!

Food very late, therefore cold. Mistakes with the order.

The meal is very small, all of it is salad, there is no chicken, even the pieces are small, for a very high price. I will not return to it again

I am going this place from Milton Keynes since 2017 for family meal and office party.went this week but received very bad service.As I am allergic with Normal soft drinks and last time I went they gave me coca which upset my stomach so this time I take zero Sprite with lemon which they don't serve in restaurant.i asked waiter I don't need drinks but you charge me for drinks and give me ice instead of drinks as you don't serve what I need. She said manager said it's not allowed and keep away your drink and eat food without drinks Obviously this something which I not aspect as a regular customer.i think she was new as I normally see other waiter. But most annoying thing is manager is not in restaurant and sitting in next door shop and waiter go to that shop to get instructions. This is something not good customer service of this is restaurant policy then at least manager should come and explain nicely to customer by himself. I end up paying good money but not happy at all In whole restaurant only one waiter and one cook so delayed in food which makes food cold Definitely not going again as they don't treat customers with respect.

Only went in to inquire if I could pre book a table seems a very nice place to eat

I have been coming to this restaurant for years with both friends and family. The food is delicious at all times. My favourite is the warm homemade bread cooked in the wood fire oven. I always go for the classic king prawn dish which if filled with amazing flavours.

Excellent food, received out take-out on time by the till. The place however is in dire need of a refurbishment. I would not recommend for a seat in.

Food tasted good, but two of the foil packs had broken open in the bag, so everything was covered in hummus and yoghurt dip (so we hardly had any of them). Ruined some of the other food unfortunately, and was incredibly messy. Shame. We enjoyed what we could eat, and what wasn't left all over the delivery bag

Had a nice dinner this weekend, However, definitely recommend management to improve the service/staff attantion, for a quiet day it was so cold in customer service and staff were keep arguing, i actually lost my energy. Luckily when food arrived i gave my concentration to my food. And tried to not let them to mess my dinner.

Visited this place passing through town. I was looking for something quick to eat so I ordered the lamb shish wrap for just under a tenner. I had to spit out 4 pieces of the lamb which was just pure gristle, I'm not sure what cut of lamb it was but my last bite had a small bone in it. I also specified no onions and it was loaded with red onion. I won't be eating from here again, it's a real shame because the place looks good. Disappointed.

Lovely food, huge portions and really reasonable prices especially the lunch menu. A local favourite. And the staff are always really friendly and accommodating.

I realise that it’s not easy on a Saturday night to get everything on time. However I did order extra early in the hope we’d get our order closer to the ordered time. 5-10 minutes late would have been ok

For several years, this place has consistently exceeded my expectations. The Arabic restaurant offers delicious and perfectly cooked mixed grill meats along with a variety of other authentic Arab dishes. I adore the spot for its genuine Middle Eastern decor and cuisine.

Lovely little restaurant, decorated beautifully in Mediterranean style. Very delicious food. In starters hummus is always favourite. For tge main meal we ordered a pizza and Oasis platter of 2 with rice which was enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. At the end when we ordered tea, baklava was served with it which was on the house. Their clay oven and diffetent decore makes it more attractive. Their kitchen is open and visible from the dining hall where you can see your yood cooking. I would love to come here again and again

The food presentation is good but precooked and reheated, service is bad and the shop looks nice.

First time for take away of the Special mixed girl. The portion delivered for take away was not relative to the cost when considering we have had the same meal in the restaurant many times, unless of course this has been tampered with before delivery. Dissapoited

Friendly service, no booze which was fine. Food ok. Nothing exceptional or memorable. Best dish was prawns starter which had a bit of spice. Went mid week and was pretty quiet.

The food is COLD by the time it gets to you. This is either if you pick it up yourself or you try to get delivery. JUST EAT takes easily an hour to be delivered by which time it is freezing cold. Oasis dont really care and say its not their problem. Sadly it is because I really like this place but I also dont like cold food that has been sitting around. :(

How can make an order and everything was cold ?! Chips cold and plain! Calamari was stone cold! and halloumi was rubbery, very disappointed and to think I gave them a chance after I placed an order yesterday and it didn’t arrive! Will not be ordering from here again.

I am in the area for two days and this place had been recommended to me. Oh my. The service and food were exceptional. I had halloumi in pastry to start and sea bass as a main course. Photos, IMO, don’t do justice. I truly cannot recommend highly enough. To each and every member of staff and to Sami for recommending, I thank you again 🙏❤️

I travel out of my way to come here and it's always on point. Only reason I give it low secure is there is little or no customer service skills here from the young girl working at the counter. She needs to going a training course

Had a nice experience at Oasis St Albans. Food fresh, tasty and affordable. Sells no alcohol but has a few mocktails to choose from. Will definitely go back.

Best Arabic food in town bit expensive but worth it

The food at Oasis is absolutely fantastic! The top-notch service and reasonable prices make it a standout choice. The ambiance and atmosphere on the high street are truly enjoyable. It's a place I love going back to, where I can indulge in delicious food while experiencing the best environment. Highly recommended!

Oasis' mixed grill is always tasty and their homemade bread definitely has a "homemade" feel and taste to it.

The food here is wonderful particularly the grills- would recommend trying out. I have been a few times and the service is on the slower side (so don't go in a rush) but the food is worth it!

Ordered a chicken shawarma with a orange juice food was nice and the staff was friendly as well. The food came at the right temperature and the way they make there fries is very well cooked which is nice.

This place was 45 min ride for us. Service was friendly and warm. Food was as expected from a Moroccan restaurant. Not enough bread provided with the cold mix starters. Music was a bit too loud for my taste. Found it hard to hear people's conversations. Table space was a bit small for the dishes. Found a mosque right next door to pray maghrib.

Food is absolutely delicious; a solid 5/5. Service is a bit haphazard because the waiters are clearly very inexperienced, e.g if you ask for say a fork, a coke, and a menu it’s take 10 minutes because three separate trips would be made rather than just one with all three items :-)

Cannot mistake their food ever. Consistently cooked very well and the prices show that the owners of the place care about the community and want to thrive here. As we drove past we noticed this restaurant. We parked outside and popped in for a light dinner . The food we had was really tasty and freshly cooked for us. Would totally recommend this restaurant. Thank you .

It was okay, not poor, but not outstanding either. I think the sheeh kebab needs more working on and needs to be more dense. Food was average. Will try again to make sure that it is a 3* and not nothing more

I ordered for collection, I feel this is a problem caused by both Just eat and Oasis; I selected the option to collect as soon as possible. The restaurant accepted and I was given the time of 18:15 to collect the food (20 minutes after placing the order I arrived at the time and they had not started cooking my order. I understand that they may have been preoccupied with previous orders. However, there should be a system to accept the order but set a realistic collection time or they should not have accepted that time for me to collect it. I ordered swordfish- on the just eat menu it says that all the fish come with salad and the option of either chips or roasted new potatoes. There is not an option to select which on. Therefore, I wrote in the notes section/ request/ message whatever it is called when placing an order on this app I asked politely for the potatoes. When I received my order and opened it I was given rice. Rice was not even a option on the dish? The rice was cold and tasteless. The food was ok. The standard delivered is no where near as high as the flavour and quality as when I eat in the restaurant itself. The staff was fair and pleasant. However, there was a lot of miscommunication on their end.

Been to the oasis a couple of times, the food is amazing, staff are so friendly, can't do enough for you Its a really laid back atmosphere and the food is fresh, takes a little time to cook to perfection, if you want fast food go to Macdonalds

This wasn't meant to be a visit! We ordered a meal through Just Eat, which got collected, but never delivered. When we rang to check what had happened, I spoke to Mohammed, who couldn't have been more helpful. Although we had to go and collect it, he sorted us out with a delicious replacement meal, and even comped us a bowl of baclava. Birthday meal saved from disaster, and now we know to order direct in future, and will be deleting the Just Eat app!

Absolute disaster averted: Complete fail from the Just Eat driver, who collected our meal on time, but never delivered it. We contacted The Oasis, and spoke to Mohammed: He couldn't have been more helpful, and sorted us out with a replacement meal, which as ever, was delicious!. 100% will be ordering (direct) again, but never going to bother with Just Eat.

Lebanese pizza was 🔥. Chicken shawarma wrap also delicious. Easily the best Middle East food I’ve had in St Albans

Been here a few times for various reasons and hasn't disappointed. Many would turn away at the fact they don't serve alcoholic beverages but don't let that put you off. The Oasis more than makes up for this in the quality and presentation of the food. The menu has an excellent mix of Middle Eastern fare from hummus to tagines. For many of my visits, we have opted to get the Oasis Special Mixed Grill (see the image) which if you're a meat eater is the perfect remedy. It comes with a great selection of Lamb and Chicken cooked in various ways served beautifully on a platter with salad and your choice of chips and rice. The meat is well seasoned and the chips crisp and delicious, a true delight! In terms of smaller plates, the selection of cold starters which are some dips (hummus, labneh and babba ganoush) served with freshly baked pitta bread is the perfect way to whet ones appetite. Everything here is so moreish. One time we tried the walnut stuffed pickled aubergines which were out of this world and highly recommend. Summarising, the food is great and they have many unique dishes you may not find in your usual Mediterranean/middle eastern restaurant. They also have a fully sized wood fired pizza oven which can make exceptional pizzas and middle eastern flat bread dishes. The service here is what you'd expect, you feel looked after and the food arrives in good time. You don't need to lift much of a finger here. It is also worth noting that this place has a wonderfully delightful interior with a large water feature in the centre of it all. Feels like you're in a Moroccan coffee house! It is worth noting that this place does an excellent job of blending A La Carte dining with 'small plates' sharing style dining. You can do both! So if you're in the mood to share, get the mixed grill and dips, if you're not, get a Tagine or one of the main meal dishes. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Delicious Moroccan and Lebanese fusion food. Everything was delicious in particular the Moroccan Sausage starter and Lamb Tangine main. Small and cosy place, beautiful decor and ambience and the waitress was highly attentive. highly recommend.

The food was all cold. Very disappointed.

After 1hr 15mins (was told it would be here within 30 mins) I called the restaurant. The owner told me that I was “lucky” that they were still there that late. I explained I ordered the food a long time ago, and he continued to talk over me in Arabic making little sense of the situation and ended with my putting the phone down. Eventually, when the food arrived, it was cold, soggy and the worst lamb I have ever seen. It was just a mass of fatty cartilage and gristle. Barely any of it edible. Not a cheap place either with main’s costing £15 each. The best part was the rice, that was okay. Bad service, bad delivery times and most crucially, bad food.

Favourite spot for the family to dine in or take away. Staff are always friendly and food is good and great value.
