Great stay better than looks great amenities great service lovely area nice view and stores.

Fantastic food, this is our local Chinese restaurant and service is always friendly and prices are very reasonable. Favourite dish is the Crispy Aromatic Duck with Pancakes, cucumber and Spring Onions. Staff are polite and friendly and make you always feel welcome.

The food was fantastic, two of the five dishes were really memorable, the rest was just really good 🤣 The views across the estuary are fantastic and the venue played up beat Latin music which really set it all off. I was well impressed! It's not a large venue though, so book early!!

Amazing service! What a lovely, attentive, friendly owner! He made our experience wonderful from the start. It was late as we had been to adventure island with our 3 children and I was apprehensive as to what would still be open at 9.45pm. So glad we found this place- food was delicious, well priced but what made the night for us was the kindness of the owner! We had fish and chips, sausage in batter and a side of mozzarella sticks- all perfect! Thank you 😊

Anson Court Care Home Review. We visited Southend-On-Sea yesterday with residents/family members and staff. unfortunately we were let down very last minute from another restaurant. Wish you were here was literally our live saver, trying to find somewhere last minute for 34 people is not easy. Jade, Lee and Lacey were just wonderful and they couldn't of been anymore helpful. As a big group with lots of wheelchairs we literally took over the whole restaurant. The food and service was amazing and we couldn't of asked for anymore. Once again ladies, thank you so much. We will definitely be back :-)

Fabulous ice cream, and friendly service, lots of choices the pistachio is to die for Highly recommended 🍨 You can buy tubs for your freezer too😉

Visited this morning with my family before we set off back to London after a short break. Food was extremely tasty and the service was excellent. If I'm ever back in Southend I'll definitely be visiting this cafe again.

We often have a meal at the Camelia. The service and the food have always been of high quality. However, that was not the case on our last visit.Our table was booked for 8 pm.We were not offered any drinks on arrival at our table.The wine glasses were quickly cleared away. We expressed the wish that we would like to order wine with our meal. A wine list followed shortly after. We selected our wine We told the waitress what wine we wanted. Our starters arrived. We finished these.When our main course arrived the waiter asked us if we would like a drinkWe explained that we had ordered some wine which had not arrived. We were told that he did not know what happened there.There was no salt and pepper on the table and we were not offered any We were very disappointed with the whole experience.

An amazing choice of Tapas on offer, and very well priced. Service was quick, despite it being fairly busy, and it was nice to be left to ourselves while we ate. The atmosphere was lovely with some nice summer-vibes music playing. Eating on the deck with the view out to sea rounded off the experience. Definitely worth a visit.

We stayed here over the weekend for a wedding. Firstly the lady on reception was so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were adequately sized for what we needed and the bed, perfectly comfy. 30 second walk to the sea front and carvery directly next door
