Beaches Guest House in Southend-on-Sea

Great stay better than looks great amenities great service lovely area nice view and stores.

We stayed here for the night a few weeks ago and loved it! Jo and Buzz were very welcoming and friendly (not to mention accommodating as we'd had to cancel a previous stay due to ill health) The room we stayed in was very clean with lovley decor, and the attention to detail in the room left me stunned! Breakfast was delicious, I highly recommend the eggs benedict! There really was nothing i could fault this guest house with. If we come that was again, this will be where we stay!

Stayed at Beaches for the first time as we were reccomended by our friends Owners are lovely very welcoming and friendly, room was very clean and has everything you could want, we were at the front of the building so the sea view was great Breakfast was really nice too Cant fault it for the price, will be booking again for our next visit john

Well what a delightful find ! Amazing boutique hotel /guest house . From the moment we arrived the hosts were so friendly and couldnt do enough . Our room was immaculately clean with a nice airy decor. We choose a room no 4 with a very nice long balcony with table and two comfy chairs . The weather was amazing as we sat and enjoyed the estuary views . Our bed was so comfortable and the shower was hot and spacious . Our room was a delight to relax in and we especially enjoyed having coffee on the balcony watching the boats bob up and down . We managed to park easily outside with no parking restrictions . The breakfast was very up market and included in the price . A fantastic choice on the menu. I choose the eggs benidict with salmon and poached eggs it was so amazing . One of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time . The breakfast room is a lovely setting in a very light spacious conservatory with a lovely ambiance . I would definitely 100 % recommend and we will be returning again . My score would be 10/10 I Couldn't fault Beaches at all . Great value for money with a fab breakfast included . The hosts clearly have a passion for the love of their job ! You won't find better along the Southend seafront.

Really happy with my stay at beaches guest house! The room was perfect, very clean, comfy and had everything we needed. I had a great night sleep and breakfast in the morning was tasty. Everyone was super friendly. 100% recommend!

Absolutely perfect stay at Jo & Buzz's guesthouse. Very comfortable and clean, beautiful stay. Breakfast was delicious and they catered very well for my food allergies that I made them aware of in advance. Very caring hosts, very helpful. All staff were very cheerful and happy to help. Parking outside is free and easy to find. Our room was comfortable with a lovely balcony and sea view. Thankyou Jo & Buzz for a really lovely stay and lovely chats. Jo and buzz are amazing hosts they really do deal with anything you need, rooms are great with views over the beach it's so relaxing I highly recommend rooms 4 and 5 as they have the sit out balconys

Rooms, service and breakfast all perfect. Lovely amenities from Bramley. Jo and Buzz are wonderful hosts. Attention to details with almost everything! I was offered a cup of Jasmine tea for breakfast as I told them I was originally from HK. Wish you all the success!

The level of attention to detail at this lovely guesthouse is second to none. From the high quality finish of the rooms, the spotless facilities and flawless customer service provided I could not recommend the Beaches enough. All of this was topped off by an amazing breakfast. Jo was the perfect host and nothing was too much bother and the communication prior to our stay was spot on. The Beaches will now be our go to spot when we come to visit down this way.
