It is a nice place to chill and eat.

First time visiting here, had a three course meal and it was fantastic! Food was great! Service and staff were superb! The terrace bar is a great place to go for meeting up with friends, or if it's just you and your partner for a quick drink and a quick bite to eat. It's a good size for parties and functions. Definitely will be going here again!

Hired for my 30th Birthday, really lovely venue and the staff were great, defo would book again, I just wouldn’t book the buffet as what you get for the money isn’t great, other than that was a really good night and would recommend to others. Thanks for everything.

We hired The Terrace Bar for a birthday party on a Saturday night! Staff very friendly&helpful and the drinks are lovely especially the cocktails! Lovely atmosphere, party lights and sound system was great for music, the pool table and shuffle board were a great addition! Would recommended this venue to anyone!

We decided to visit on a weekend to Southend and had a great time! The food and service was great, Rachel and Wayne were so welcoming. Played pool and shuffle board, had a great Sunday lunch. Definitely recommend to anyone!

We hired The Terrace Bar for my husband 50th birthday party and it was fab!! Everybody had such a great time and all commented on how lovely the venue is and how amazing all the staff were. I came across this venue whilst looking for a venue for my 40th birthday and I am so glad I did. I had the best night the venue, staff and food were all amazing. Everyone was so welcoming and anything I needed to know regarding music etc were all answered quickly. I highly recommend this place for anyone needing a venue for an event. I will be back for another event they host as was the best night and we loved the freshly made cocktails thank you all xx

Wow, what a lovely place! Have recently visited this establishment twice, once for the Psychic night, and to watch the brilliant band ‘The Heaters’ last night. I have to say it’s a gem. The staff are lovely and attentive, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and electric last night! There is also a beautiful outside terrace to enjoy the sunshine and eat/drink. Will definitely be going back!

We stumbled across this bar Saturday evening on the way through town. What a special find! We sat in the beautiful terrace on a hot summers eve and felt we could be anywhere in Europe. After a while we went and joined in the dancing inside to live music. Staff were great, venue was lovely, we’re planning on making this to a regular visit.

This is an amazing venue! Held my 21st birthday here. Accommodated my family & friends with an amazing team, provided us with professional bar staff and a beautiful location where we could enjoy the best environment for my gathering. Rachel, Wayne and Paul were very accommodating throughout the whole process & created an amazing & safe environment/atmosphere for my guests. Thank you again! I recommend this venue!

Waited 50mn to get our food: salad and pita bread from the supermarket, frozen pizza ? The salad didn’t even have any taste !

We had the cod and chips and also a Sunday roast the week before the food was banging and staff are amazing too

My first visit - as DJ, to this modern hidden gem of a venue in the heart of Southend near Tomassis, playing at a Singles Night. Ideal for private party hire with a good layout, large central bar, and convenient seating on a raised area allows you to be part of the party but also be able to have a chat. Quiz night there last night great venue.

Absolute hidden gem of Southend. Perfect for a family outing, a quick passing by drink with a friend or a date. Wonderful atmosphere and great staff and the food was fantastic and very well priced. I've always headed to spoons or the Alex for a stop off but this will be my new go too!

I have been here a few times since the new ownership and I have always found the service friendly, helpful and professional. We all enjoyed food from snacks to full dinners ant good prices and they’re very accommodating to your requests and happy to have big groups. I will be back and definitely recommend a visit here.

It was our first time here for lunch, and we found it by chance as it's just off southend high street. Great staff, food was lovely. Breakfast was great and my mum thoroughly enjoyed her bacon sandwich. Very reasonable prices. Lots of events being advertised. Will certainly be back.

We had a lovely evening at the terrace bar for dinner and drinks and were entertained by Tobias Smith who was really good. Lovely, chilled and relaxed atmosphere. Both Rachel and Wayne were excellent hosts. We will definitely be back.

Great restaurant / bar for us for lunch. Wanted something a bit lighter and a bit healthier than the standard fish & chips that everywhere else in Southend seems to do and the Terrace menu has a broad range of good, well cooked food to offer. Friendly and attentive service too - so it deserves to do well. Convenient location just off the High Street.

Delicious Sunday roast - portion size enormous, great quality and amazing value. Staff really nice. It was a bit quiet when we visited.

Very clean and inviting .staff were very accomadating to your needs.Roast dinner is the best we've had in the town so much so we are going to book our Christmas meal there for 12 people. Definitely recommend.

Great menu, almost too much to choose from. I had the flat iron which was a little tough to get through however everything else we had on the table was amazing, even the coleslaw. And as for the dirty fries…..filthy!😍 We will definitely be back!

Had a lovely afternoon here today ...tapas so nice ..service excellent.rrally friendlysyaff...very laid back and we were able to sit outside in the sun in comfy chairs ..perhaps some relaxing music in the background would have enhanced it buy overall 10 out of 10
