The Woodgrange Cafe in Southend-on-Sea

Visited this morning with my family before we set off back to London after a short break. Food was extremely tasty and the service was excellent. If I'm ever back in Southend I'll definitely be visiting this cafe again.

Had a mega breakfast for about £7 while getting my car repaired nearby. It included 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, beans, hash brown, fried slice, slice of bread & butter, mug of tea. You have a choice of potato (hash brown, chips) and of hot drink. Cooked fresh. It is small (about 5/6 tables with more outside in the warmer months). You can park for free in Kensington Road (near the tyre place) or on Woodgrange Drive. Nearby there is a Lidl, bakers, charity shop, pharmacy, a curtain shop and a couple of hairdressers/ barbers. It's a short walk from Southend East station.

Este es un café totalmente auténticos, así que recuerda la de los cafés en los 60s y 70s en el este de Londres y Southend. No hay toque de modernidad (afortunadamente). Recto - pero hablando personal muy amable. Si quieres estás tro 'no vayas a una falsa estás tro 'cafe - cuando la realidad existe aquí en Kensington Road. El aparcamiento no está mal. Tienen una buena taza de té y un auténtico desayuno británico, le llevará atrás en el tiempo

Been here several times, great food , great staff well worth a visit, very good prices, you won't leave hungry , breakfasts are great value for the money

I love this café! The friendly staff always produce a very delicious breakfast for a great price! :-) Perfect for a Sunday morning hangover haha!

This place is fantastic! I've had many an English Breakfast in my time but this one tops the lot. Great food, good value and wonderful hosts. Definitely give this place a go, you won't regret it.
