The best restaurants in Yaxley and Farcet Huntingdonshire East of England

Ordered from here a few times now and the food is always incredible. Just had my first just eat order and food arrived in good time and at the right temperature, the quality was no different from a burger from the hatch. So glad they are now on just eat.

Good value breakfast (excellent sausages!) Nice friendly place, clearly popular with the locals. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again if I find myself in the area.

Tuve una comida para llevar de Taste of Thailand hace un par de semanas y estaba absolutamente impresionado por la calidad de la comida! Honestamente la mejor comida tailandesa que he comido. Las tortas de gambas para empezar eran increíbles - enorme y lleno de gambas y los rollos de primavera eran divinos. Mermelada llena de relleno, extra crujiente sin un toque de grasa. Compartimos pollo con albahaca, almohada de langostino rey tailandés, curry de langostino tigre Panang y arroz jazmín para principal y todo fue perfecto. Las gambas en los platos eran enormes - jugoso y perfectamente cocinado. El servicio a la hora de ordenar y recoger fue eficiente y amable. ¡No puedo esperar a visitar de nuevo!

Regular customer - starters were lovely, as usual. However, the mains (Manang Ko Khasi) were EXTREMELY oily. Way more so than ever before. I hope it's just a one off mistake, so will give the benefit of the doubt. However, if it's the same next time I will have to look elsewhere.

First time ordering from here and I was pleasantly surprised. The shish kebabs were delicious, meats cooked nicely, salad packed separately to keep it fresh and cold. The garlic sauce was amazing - tastes like actual minced garlic and yoghurt, not some chemical stuff you usually get from kebab shops. The chips were nice and crispy. Really liked the food and will be ordering again 👍

At last, we are delighted to have found a decent cafe. We thoroughly enjoyed the freshly prepared food. One of the best fish and chips I had for a long time. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Thank you

A party of eight of us had booked for the Sunday evening buffet, upon arrival we were offered a free drink as part of the 12 days of Christmas promotion and asked to order poppodums they arrived quickly and eventually after a wait of around 20 minutes the drinks arrived. After a further long wait we were served starters which ranged from onion bahji’s sish kebabs and samosa’s the sish kebabs were like rubber and all starters were highly spiced. After a further wait of around 30minutes we were eventually asked to choose our main course from the buffet, which again apart from an insipid chicken korma was again highly spiced and for those in our party not liking highly spiced food offered little choice also the rice had obviously been left out for some time due to the hardened state of it. After we had all sat down with our main course we were then asked which nan breads we would like only after a member of our party had prompted the staff. A second round of drinks were ordered but arrived about 30 minutes after ordering!! The problem seemed to be there was a large party upstairs who were being afforded far more preferential treatment than we were being afforded they were obviously either friends or part of the owners family. The waitress who was trying to attend to us had obviously been briefed to attend to those upstairs first, and this lack of attentiveness coupled with the poor selection of food on offer particularly to those with a lower tolerance for high spiced food and lack of atmosphere made for a very disappointing experience Will any of us return? the overwhelming consensus of opinion was a resounding no.

The carvery plate is clownishly small and more expensive than anywhere else.. the lack of options were disappointing.. and the staff were rather rude. This place has fallen off massively and it’s a shame that I can’t recommend it.

Despite giving driver instructions on notes he was still lost and food was extremely cold when it arrived. He didnt even try calling to get directions when i clearly stated if theyre lost they can call for directions

An often busy outlet with long queues, however there is always an infectious smile from the staff especially Erin and Zoe. The shop is stuffed at the back of the Spar shop and there is poor phone signal at that point in the shop making the Subway app slow to load. Their ability to make a tasty fresh and enjoyable sandwich is great. Thank you for providing the food to get me through the afternoon albeit a bit to regularly.

The most disgusting fish and chips I have ever eaten. I have felt so sick since eating it. The sausages I wouldn't even feed my dogs.. chewy, nasty meat. Soggy chips with the odd uncooked chip added in. Normally I wouldn't leave a negative review but it was so awful, I felt obliged to let others know to avoid!!

Popped in for a quick bite after footy. Unfortunately there was no food on the go that day which was disappointing, hence the score as obviously we weren't able to comment on food due to this. Managed to have some pretty tasty crisps that were recommended by the bar though! The pub had a homely local vibe to it, but we were welcomed well, even finding football on the TV for my son was a nice touch of attention as he was in his kit! Will have to go back to sample the food now.
