The best restaurants in Nelson Great Yarmouth East of England

Came first a spot of light lunch. Was busy but served quickly and got our food quickly. Staff friendly and prices extremely reasonable!

Very great location, center, close to attractions, restaurants, sea nearby.

Monday Evening around 6pm Advertised as open lights were on but when we went in we were told that they were open to hotel guests only 😞

Wonderful From the moment you press the bell to the end of dinner it’s a fantastic experience. Beautiful cocktail lounge with extensive menu, delicious food and a lovely ambience. It’s so apparent how happy the team are, as their love for their restaurant shines through. Highly recommend

We visited for the Jane Austen Afternoon Tea! It was fabulous and well priced! The atmosphere and music gave it that extra added regency touch.

We have dropped in for excellent espresso and Portuguese pastry on many occasions when visiting Yarmouth. The customers are mostly Portuguese but the staff have good English and are efficient and courteous. No credit cards,cash only. Remarkably good value. They do simple snacks like filled rolls too. Very clean and fresh place.

Great salmon and cream cheese bagel and the best cup of coffee in Yarmouth (the son in law’s an aficionado and he rates it that highly, so that’ll do me) Really friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Top notch!

Visited today and was very impressed! Ordered a tuna toastie and decaf tea. Was charged £1 less than expected, which might be because I didn't have cheese in the toastie, or maybe because I had decaf tea rather than standard. Either way though it was nice of them to take some money off. Lovely food and beautiful setting overlooking the waterways. Upon leaving the guy asked if I would like to take home a couple of free fruit scones as they needed using today and they were soon going to be closing, which was so kind of him. Had one when home and they were delicious. Thank you SO much, excellent service and generosity!!!

Great friendly pub. Good beer prices, great staff Steve is great. Locals all talk and you’re made welcome. Not far from the Time and Tide museum. Well worth a visit.

Brilliant spent lots of money very impressive, everything for the family and the bowling outside a bonus

Absolutely amazing meal was had at Chicos tonight, steak and prawns cooked to perfection, the most amazing lemon butter sauce!!! My son had a Pizza it was a deep pan pizza cooked nicely served with corn peas or beans, with a desert of jelly and Custard, overall absolutely amazing!!!

First time visiting this cafe. Was wonderful surprise. Breakfast was home made and amazing. Went in around 10ish. When breakfast came out I was amazed at portion size and value. I’m fussy and it’s a close competition with hemsby cafe breakfast. I’ll have to try again to commit. Well worth the visit! Well done guys

Very welcoming and nostalgic cafe , extremely clean and we enjoyed the pancakes, lovely experience seeing and spending time with the cats .
