Had a fab time in the hotel, nice clean rooms, service excellent , breakfast and evening meals outstanding ! Will book again as soon as possible

Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the shower and towel rail,did ask if someone would clean it,even offered to clean it myself if l had cleaning items.Reception said they would sort it.Asked 3 times ,but no one came . Meal & restaurant absolutely perfect as were waiting staff.

Great little hotel in a central location overlooking the promenade, beach and pier. Great staff, good food and drinks. We will be back on our next trip to the area. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed 3 nights room was fantastic very clean breakfast was great mails are fantastic very friendly staff they make you fill very well came we have booked to go back 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had the pleasure of staying at The Hotel Ocean, on a business trip. What a little gem, quality of the decor when you first walk in takes you back, as very stylish. I was met by a very pleasant young lady. Who was very pleasant and helpful. My room was very nice, and spacious and have got to say. the bed was one of the most comfy beds I have slept in. Evening meal in the Hotel itself, I found to be very good value and of a very good standard ( very happy and content), morning breakfast was of a very good quality and standard. Highly recomend The Hotel Ocean and will be looking to come back in the very near future. Thankyou

This was our second visit and wasn’t disappointed. Perfect location and spotless room. Staff were amazing especially Morgan who helped us out with mix up over breakfast times, what a star this guy is!!! Couldn’t do enough for us and accommodated us with a tasty breakfast even though we were late. Looking forward to our next stay here

An absolutely fabulous hotel right on the seafront. Very clean, comfortable and well presented and appointed rooms. Food both on the Bistro menu and for breakfast is of a very high standard. And the breakfast menu is vast. Great friendly and welcoming staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had a two night stay, the hotel is modern, clean and staff very attentive. Bathroom was small but well equipped. The room was well designed and had two comfortable chairs. The hotel has a good location for the the promenade and access to the town centre. The food was well presented and good quality, highly recommended.

Excellent hotel spotless comfortable. And decor is great facilities excellent meals brilliant can't say no more excellent place.

Had an amazing Christmas festive meal food was lovely portions big great value for money food very fresh £32.50 for 3 courses plus sorbet and mince pies and crackers staff very friendly and helpful will defo be back again

We had a delicious Christmas menu meal , which was absolutely lovely you could tell the food was freshly prepared & not “packaged” . Lovely attentive service! A wonderful treat & very reasonably priced!!!!!

The afternoon tea was the best I've ever had and I've had alot. So much delicious food and service was just class

We ate in the restaurant The Box Tree Bistro and wow it is absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are huge and great value for money. Would defo recommend 👌

Perfect stay I usually stay in Premier Inn's for work travel so this was a welcome change. Couldn't fault my stay. Lovely comfortable rooms and reception areas. You can tell a lot of pride is taken by all staff and the food was excellent. Great location for sea front and town centre. I will definitely be returning. Thank you so much Hotel Ocean

Didn't go in the rooms as local but had breakfast of pancakes with fruit compot & yoghurt 😋 which was lovely, great service as always , thank you xx

Bloody Amazing. I cannot find fault. Maybe parking, but the hotel provides registration for on road parking behind the hotel in Zone A, so not too far to stroll. The decor is amazing, clean and tidy. The Couple that run the Hotel are polite, friendly, welcoming genuine. Makes such a difference. Great Customer service. The room we stayed in, room 3, Sea View King was beautiful. Again clean and tidy. Tea, coffee and all the usual nice little touches. Plenty of space and an amazing Bay window overlooking the beach, what a vista in the morning sun, sand and sea! Breakfast is hearty and familiar. A full English and toast. But many other options too, eggs Royale , fruit salad, cereal - plenty of choice to start your day. I am often hyper critical but with this Hotel I am so impressed. Will look to return and I highly recommend a visit. Thank you so much.

This lovely small hotel is a great local run hotel in a great location. The staff are fantastic and nothing is to much trouble. Very clean and tidy and lovely food and coffee. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a stay in Great Yarmouth.

We stayed their for the weekend. The hotel was amazing and so beautifully presented and decorated including the rooms. The owner Tom, together with his wife and all the staff ensure their guests are well looked after. Probably the best Hotel in Great Yarmouth.

A beautiful night away for my husband's birthday at this gorgeous hotel. From start to finish it was A☆☆☆. The staff were fantastic, professional. Parking was a breeze just up the road. We will be returning to this gorgeous hotel. Thank you to you all.

An absolute gem with the lovely couple running it who seem more like friends. We had the sea view suite which was fabulous and as world wide travellers it seriously was impeccably clean and lovely extra touches. The breakfast was gorgeous in every way with great choice and quality produce cooked to perfection. Ocean Hotel keep doing what you are doing and we will see you soon. 👌😘

Lovely hotel, nice rooms. Great choice of breakfast and nice personal attention as only 9 rooms in total. Nothing was too much trouble and being adult only hotel, no screaming children to contend with. Would happily stay again.

We came to Great Yarmouth for a family wedding and stayed for 3 nights here. from the moment we arrived the new owners Tom and Megan went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. When we arrived only 3 days after they had taken over this gorgeous hotel we were so impressed with their attention to detail. The room on the first floor was a standard room but the decor was lovely and the bed very comfortable. We slept really well. The breakfast menu is really varied and we loved the full English breakfast, great quality produce cooked to perfection. Loved the relaxed approach to breakfast, nothing was too much trouble and we were not rushed. The bar is very well stocked. The restaurant is due to reopen and wish we could have stayed a little longer so we could have tried this too. By far one of the best hotels we have stayed in and if we come back to Great Yarmouth would definitely stay here again. Stay here, you won’t regret it.

Excellent location, right on the seafront. Staff could not have been friendlier, we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Lovely breakfast to wake up to.

Made a very late booking here and Matt was very accommodating to ensure we could arrive and book in late the same day. Room was perfect, clean, quiet and included everything we needed (decent quality towels can't be overlooked!). The included breakfast was also excellent, fruit salad, poached egg on toast and a full English. Parking also included.

Check in was good Room was nice The reason I give it 4stars is no blind in bathroom Although a frosted window but when the light was on and you was In the shower opposite accommodation could see you Breakfast we felt let down we could hear the waitress offering everyone else, extra toast , tea & coffee, black pudding but we never got asked Shame as it took a shine off the whole experience hence a one star Otherwise overall very good

Matt and Angie were impeccable hosts, their hotel is clean and well appointed, the room we had as a crash pad was just right. We had a tasty breakfast in their restaurant too! Thoroughly recommended. Thank you to you both for your generosity.

Was nice. Clean and tidy etc. just the parking is alot to be desired. I parked in a what I could only describe as a dodgy back lane next to an arcade. Was surprised to see my vehicle still there the next day
