Absolutely amazing. This is a wonderful dining experience starting from the downstairs with cocktails and canapés whilst choosing from the menu’s to going upstairs to the dining area. The food and all the staff are wonderful. The open kitchen is fascinating to watch the exquisite dishes being made and delivered to the tables by the wonderful and friendly staff. Can’t wait to go again.

Went with friends who have dined here many times over the years. They always spoke of how fantastic this place was, we were not disappointed. On arrival met by the owner, taken to the bar for drinks. Service was fantastic and the inside of the restaurant was amazing. The food was excellent, taken to a totally different world.

What can I say apart from what a fabulous night! From ringing the door bell to being seated for our meal, the atmosphere and service is second to none. The whole time from arriving to dinning was wonderful. And my gosh, the food is out of this world. 100% worth booking and paying the lovey team there a visit. Special thanks to Mimi as well for the hospitality, and updates throughout the booking process.

Perfect as always. The only thing I don't like is the price, but you get what you pay for, it's great.

Thursday Date Day The experience started from the phone call to book to be told they were full, but then we received a message to offer a table following a cancellation, which was great of them. On arrival from the start, service was on point!! We were seated at the bar as we were early, the bar staff (mixologist) were very knowledgeable and advised on drinks. We were then led to a lounge area where we could relax and order our food with nibbles. We were then led upstairs to the restaurant where nothing was too much trouble. Amazing food. Amazing staff. Amazing experience!!! Great fine dining experience.....totally worth it Mr and Mrs Williams

An exceptionally unique dining experience! Our holiday companion booked Pamela’s for dinner and we were unsure of what to expect, however we were assured of good quality food and a great experience and we certainly were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were shown to a table in the lounge, provided with the menus and ordered drinks. Service is exceptionally professional and friendly from arrival to departure. The decor is most unique and very fun to take in. The upstairs dining room is more casual and I loved watching the chefs in the open kitchen. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Our vegetarian diner was slightly limited for choice and there was a blip with the main course, however it was handled and recovered very well (we were unaware when booking, however we have now been advised to phone ahead a minimum of 24-hours and special meal arrangements can be made in advance for vegetarian meals). The fish cakes and miso Salmon were very delicious and cooked to perfection. The duck legs had crispy skin, moist meat and a tasty accompanying Orzo pasta. All in all I would thoroughly recommend Pamela’s for a delicious meal with 5* service.

What’s not to love about this restaurant…great food expertly cooked and presented, great friendly service with a warm smile, great ambiance and decor, in fact everything was just a little bit special….if I could give ten stars I most certainly would. Attention to detail is the order of the day including any food preferences, allergies or intolerance. My husband and I are both vegan eaters although my son and his partner are not. Every one of us had superb food and the choices were fabulous. The cocktails were amazing and we had a really special night that will stay with me for a very long time. Definitely worth the extra cost for a memorable evening.

For a special occasion this restaurant is amazing. The best restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of visiting and I'm not exaggerating. Quite simply the best service from the minute you arrive and the food is incredible. Its pricey of course but you get what you pay for and for a special occasion I couldn't fault it. Fabulous.

This was our first time to Pamela's and I can promise you it won't be our last. We went for a special anniversary meal and it certainly was. The service was incredible, so attentive and polite. The food was exquisite. We had 6 different dishes throughout the meal and each one was full of flavour and tasted amazing. I highly recommend Pamela's for anyone wanting to go somewhere special for a meal, they certainly know how to do it and do it well. Thank you for providing the different vegetarian choices for us!

Had the best time here. The entire experience is amazing, I'd mentioned it was my mums birthday and they accommodated wonderfully. Some great alcohol free options too as I don't drink. The food was amazing and so many extra little touches made it really special.

This is a hidden gem that is tucked away.. this unassuming place surprises you as enter. Your met by stylish waitresses who serve you hor d'oeuvres whilst they take your drinks orders. The restaurant is Modern, glitzy, with contemporary art laced on the walls. But the crème de La crème is the sensational food.- It was exquisite!. The owner was also extremely friendly and told us next time remember there is parking. When you book , you just need to say you need parking and they offer this too. Would highly recommend for the experience-you are spoilt and treated.

Had the Pamela’s experience last night for the first time .... I say experience because that is exactly what it is, an experience. Picture this, you walk down a side road, not a particularly pleasant road, you find Pamela’s, you have to ring the bell for entry and from the moment you enter through the door, you are greeted with opulence. The staff are exceptional as is their service. The food is exquisite and presented with passion & knowledge. After our meal we enjoyed the cocktail lounge and of course a couple of cocktails, each made fresh and served with the extra touches ... it’s the little things that make the experience EXTRA .... If you ever find yourself in Great Yarmouth, this place has to be on your list of places to try! You’ll be glad you did ...

My partner and I have visited Pamela’s many times and every time the service is nothing short of impeccable. The staff are incredibly attentive, maintain a very high level of professionalism whilst being friendly, approachable and an absolute credit to Carl and Mimi. I have never had a bad experience, the food is always served to a very high standard and each dish is well worth the price paid. Of course, a trip to Pamelas wouldn’t be the same without cocktails. Their bar staff always produce a well balanced, perfectly flavoured cocktail that looks as good as it tastes. At the end of every meal, we are treated to conversation with Carl who ensures our evening was up to their high standards and we always leave with a smile on our faces post-chat. We couldn’t recommend a restaurant in the local area more than we could ever recommend Pamela’s. Truly an outstanding dining experience.

Wow wow and more wows, who would have thought this restaurant existed down a back street just off the sea front in Great Yarmouth. Booking is an absolute must as you can't just turn up, the downstairs cocktail bar is very upmarket modern with some delicious cocktails along side some yummy canapes and bar snacks. The food is out of this world in the upstairs restaurant our group sat at a table just in front of the open kitchen where all the magic happens. The waiting staff were very knowledgeable and everything was done in a classic restaurant style and the owner was on hand to have a chat and keep the staff in check. Pamela's should be proud of what they have achieved in a town that struggles to provide high quality restaurants, 5* from our group and we will definitely be visiting again. 07.04.2022 Another absolutely fantastic dining experience the food and service was 5*. Love the atmosphere in the bar for pre dinner drinks and then being escorted to our table by the attentive staff. Duck pate to start, ham hock (the meat just fell off the bone) for main and a chocolate dessert (the name escapes me) which was light but very chocolaty. A must if your in the area.

Fabulous Christmas get together with some friends. Hadn't been for a long while but the service and food was just as excellent as we remembered. Couldn't fault anything at all. All of the staff are so friendly as soon as you walk through the door they make you feel so welcome. As remembered the food and drinks both looked and tasted amazing. Will definitely be returning...and not just for Christmas.

Wow what a great place for a special occasion .Service was very professional staff very attentive. You start your experience with MiMi greeting and seating you in the lounge area to look at the menus while sipping a cocktail .Then it's up to the restaurant for the food experience. Nothing is rushed so allow plenty of time to enjoy .The food was delicious and well presented .After the food back down to the lounge for liquor coffee and petit fours and disco .Well done to all the staff a great night .

Went with my boyfriend and family for my birthday meal. Staff where so attentive, it felt like they were constantly looking after us and we were the focus of their attention, like no one else was there (although there was). The food was absolutely amazing, brilliant taste. You could see the kitchen and the kitchen staff worked in silent, allowing you to enjoy your fantastic meal. The drinks I had were the best achoholic drinks I have ever had. One drink I had with lychee's juice in it, tasted so fresh, it seemed like I was having the actual fruit! (It was so fresh it felt like the fruit was going down my throat!), I then had the Hubba bubba shot, now normally when I smell a smell and want to taste it I can't, but this shot was pure delicious bubble gum, I have never tasted a thing so perfect and precise to the smell. 10 out of 10. It was also my birthday meal and they treated me amazingly, paying attention to detail. I had a brilliant night and hope to come again at some point in the future

I had the pleasure of dining at Pamela’s a couple of weeks ago with a large group of friends. The experience, service and food were exceptional and I would definitely book and return again if in the area.

Food is perfect! Good quality produce, cooked and presented to an extremely high standard. Staff wait on you professionally but extremely friendly. The restaurant is extremely clean and decorated In a unique but pleasing fashion. It is the perfect dining treat you could wish for. If needed ask about parking 😉!

Great atmosphere for a date. Everything was absolutely perfect with a little surprise for our anniversary at the end of our dinner. Restaurant is a bit hidden among the roads and it is required to ring the door bell to be welcomed in. Maybe not suitable for kids.

We stayed in Great Yarmouth for a few nights and wanted to go to a nice restaurant and Pamelas was recommended, luckily for us they had a last minute cancellation. From the minute we walked in we were treated excellently by Mimi the owner and all the staff. The place, decor and furnidhings were lush, and the food was 👌. It was a tad expensive but you get what you pay for. We highly recommend. Thank you Julie

Went there yesterday having been recommended. Their website states they're open. I tried to make a reservation but no one answered the phone. Myself and partner walked for miles to see if we could get a table but it was closed. No one answered the door...no note on the door...was very disappointed.

What a gem! Wonderful surroundings, staff very polite and knowledgeable. Service is attentive without being obtrusive. Both the wine and food were excellent. I would highly recommend, and I'll be going back for more!

Wow what can I say a wounderfull service and the food is yo die for the meals are a bit more expensive then mist restaurants but every bif of the good and exfpirencd is worth every penny I defantly recommend for that verg special occasion

We went to Pamela's on recommendation ..so 6 of us gave it a go.... appetizers..WOW starters..WOW Mains..WOW...didn't have room for the lovely looking desserts... atmosphere great....service great!!!! You must book in advance, well worth the trip from Colchester.

Outstanding experience and a wonderful Sommelier ! There isn’t really much more to say other than if you can get a table here you are in for an amazing experience. Make sure you make time for this and take the tasting menu along with wine pairing and just sit back and enjoy the ride!

Initially getting to the restaurant, you have to ring the door bell to get in, greeted by warm smiling staff, than you're directed to the bar and sitting area where you're given the menu, order your drinks first than order your meal, once they're ready you're taken upstair to the dining area and shortly after your foods are served. The meal was delicious. The staffs are all polite and cautious all through. It's a little pricy, but you get what you paid for.

Amazing. Superb We finally got an opportunity to visit Pamela's. As my partner works evenings it has been a long time coming. Everything was superb. When we walked in, we could not believe that we were still in Great Yarmouth, the service was absolutely fantastic in my opinion. Secluded away from the hustle and bustle of Yarmouth.From time of arrival and being met at the door to departure service given by all the staff was professional and friendly. Décor upon entering is comforting and decordant. All dishes served are presented to a very high standard and a picture on the plate. A lot has been thought about in flavour combinations and textures which makes every mouthful an adventure and thoroughly enjoyable. For the service and quantity of what is served a great dining experience, which I'm sure I will be taking advantage of in the future.
