The worst experience ever, took over 45min to get a sandwich Disappointed with children’s box , it said cake ,what kids eat date and walnut cake etc ,no fruit or anything like that 20 min after ordering they came out and said they didn’t have what was ordered Won’t be going back soon Wasn’t even crowded

The 2 girls on the front of house took my order for 2 drinks and a cake. Bearing in mind the place was empty they forgot my order. I went to remind them and they had the gaul to ask if I had paid. They then bought the order over. No apology. No milk for the tea. Really disappointing.

Stopped in for a coffee at the museum’s cafe and stayed for lunch. It was so good we returned twice more during our week’s stay in GY. The dishes are hearty and generous and the details have been considered. For example, the Portuguese artisan bread is delicious, and served with herbed butter. Fantastic range of food and desserts, and proper coffee!

Beautiful small cafe by the Time and Tide Museum in Yarmouth. An excellent alternative to fried food offered on the seafront, a five minute walk away from the Sea Life Centre. Menu offered a variety of food and FINALLY somewhere that has moved with the times re children’s food and doesn’t assume that chicken nuggets and chips is the staple diet of for kids for every meal. Toddler fresh food offered includes basic sandwiches, homemade soup and half a jacket potato with a variety of fillings. For adults this may sound simple but perfect for little ones finding their taste buds and comes with appropriate cutlery whether to be used or played with. Food for adults is amazing. Very tasty homemade food but far from dull. Ciabattas with freshly cooked bread, burgers (vegetarian and meat), quiche and salads and the deserts/ cakes. Essentially, the best lunch out we have had as a family. This does not disappoint. Please don’t go because I want a table every time I’m in Yarmouth ha ha!

My family went here after our visit to the time and tide museum. In this uncertain time I like to support independent ventures rather than chain. I’m so glad I did the whole experience was very pleasant and enjoyable. The options were very good and catered well for my sons, one who is vegetarian and one who can be quite fussy. We felt safe in relation to COVID-19. The waitress was polite and attentive. The food arrived fairly promptly and it was delicious with all five of us saying this and that is unusual for a whole family consensus. My youngest even asked when we can come back. I had the full English breakfast which was the best I had in a long time. My daughter had an omelette and she said it was the best she had as well. The environment was nice although a little chilly due to the window being open but understandable due to COVID-19. It didn’t taint our experience. I would highly recommend this place.

I discovered Kingsway Sandwich Bar in Hemsby when I was staying there for the week with a friend. I thought it looked a lovely little place that I would like to try out sometime during the weeks stay. After going past a couple of times on the way for a wlk through the village and the other catching a bus at the stop outside, I did eventually go in on the Thursday after having a walk through the village, on quite a wet, overcast day. Inside was a friendly welcome from Sky, the owner, who, as I found out, has only been there since April, which was a pleasant surprise, as the place seemed quite popular from the people I'd seen popping in during the week, and really well established, for a new business it has really made it's mark, and a great one at that. After looking over the lovely selection of baguettes and bakes (pasties/pies) I ordered an old favourite, cheese and pickle, with a selection of salad. Prepared in front of me by Sky, with a lovely fresh soft baguette, a lovely cheese and delicious pickle, with a nice tangy bite to it, the baguette was superb, delicious and really filled me up after a long walk around the sights of the village, such as the park and churchyard. I took my takeout order and went back to sit in the park. I can't wait to go back to Hemsby in the new year and I will certainly be back to the Sandwich Bar when I'm there. 10/10
