An absolute must. Amazing food served on time and piping hot. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We had the the pepperoni pizza and cheesy garlic bread and it was that good we went back for dessert! The Nutella dessert is 10/10! Thank you to all the team :)

this ice cream van is horrible. i payed 4 an ice cream and it ran away with my money! i bought an ice cream for me and my son, and he was sad that I didn't have the ice cream.

On the recommendation of my daughter who has been before, I visited Barn1 today for the first time and had the carvery along with all other family members (5 of us in all). I have to say that it was very nice indeed. Nicely cooked food, both meats and all the vegetable selection. Most excellent gravy and importantly it was all nice and hot. The staff were very friendly and attentive and explained everything to "first timers" like us. There is more than one carvery closer to where I live but this one is well worth the extra miles to get there. Will certainly visit again and would highly recommend it.

Been here several times now and have NEVER been disappointed. Oh wow - the cakes! And all baked on the premises. The staff are A1, nothing is too much trouble. Perfect spot for tea and cake in an afternoon!

Good meal staff friendly and very obliging nothing to much trouble. Even chef didn't mind sorting a adult meal to a childs meal. Pleasant surroundings. Warm cosy. Old building right by river. Easy parking. Plenty of seating outside in summer months.

Visited for the first time with my partner. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We had a tasty Sunday roast. It was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. Staff were always on hand to see if everything was okay. That’s always important when you’re eating out. A lovely family pub. Highly recommended

We came today as a table of 13 for my sons 8th birthday and could not have felt more welcome, everyone was so kind and accomodating.The staff allowed us to bring a cake and even provided plates and knifes. They then proceeded to announce his birthday on microphone and the whole dinning area sung happy birthday. A lovely kind gesture. The food was wonderful, the variety of vegetables/meat and other options was huge. We then enjoyed mark and isaac singing and had a fabulous afternoon. Thank you!

Had chicken chow mein and special fried rice jumbo sausage chips and curry sauce all very good 👍

First time coming here for Sunday lunch with family . Vegetables were quite undercooked , the roast potatoes were far to hard on the outside , I think they had been sitting under the lights for a good while . They ran out of pigs in blankets and also had ran out of custard ! Very disappointing Sunday lunch .

Had many meals in this pub,since the new team has been running the place, very good food,excellent beer,and always a warm welcome to strangers.When our daughter visits us up here,this is where we come to,to while an hour or so with a good meal.Never had a poor meal,but we love the f/chips.

Popped in on our night away for a meal. The food menu was vast with lots of yummy choices. Staff were very kind and attentive. We both enjoyed our meals and at reasonable prices too. Thanks!

Went for a meal this evening which was excellent with stunning views across the river. Staff and management make you feel most welcome. Will be returning again very soon
