Kings Head in Great Yarmouth

Popped in on our night away for a meal. The food menu was vast with lots of yummy choices. Staff were very kind and attentive. We both enjoyed our meals and at reasonable prices too. Thanks!

Worst roast we have ever had. Hard roast potatoes and veg. Flavourless and not very hot. Lack of atmosphere. Seems more like a restaurant than a pub

Nice welcome from staff, all seemed very covid aware. Tables nicely separated from others. All seemed clean and well organised. Menu board is 9n the wall, some very different dishes on the menu. Food served hot and was very good. Nice calm atmosphere.

Popped in for a drink and snack hands down the nicest pub chips I’ve had in years, friendly bar staff and very clean toilets will be back!

Brilliantly executed hygiene and social distancing while still keeping the usual friendly ambience of the pub. Brilliant service and excellent food. We felt really confident being inside a pub for the first time since before lockdown in March.

Had a meal today and was absolutely lovely, so reasonably priced and so tasty. The staff are really friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. The burger was gorgeous and cooked perfect, brilliant range of gins had a lovely afternoon! Would definitely return.

Visited here today for a late lunch early dinner. We all ordered different dishes, the onion rings were so light and lovely, steak, chill, roast beef etc. Everyone loved their food it was really lovely and very good prices. They catered very well for one of our party who has allergy’s and made onion rings especially for her using a specially made batter which was so nice of them. If your thinking of trying here think no more and come.

First time here, we will be back. Top quality Steak. My wife had Cajun Chicken skewers looked very good and apparently it was. Very friendly staff. I am sure the locals know how good it is, beer and G&T hit the mark!If you are holiday maker give it a try, you won’t be disappointed

we were staying at the nearby Wild Duck Holiday Park and visited this pub for lunch. we received very friendly service from the young lady behind the bar Theresa was her name I think. There were 5 adults in our party and we had various food all was well cooked and presented well . The portion size was really large my Daughters fish covered the plate. Good atmosphere we were made welcome and a bonus was it was dog friendly. if you are in the area do not miss out on visiting this great pub

Visited here whilst staying at the wild duck haven.I was a bit apprehensive at first ,but the food was excellent burger was perfect and coleslaw was delicious if ever back I the area will definitely visit again

Stayed in local campsite and walked here. Sat outside and chose of food excellent. The food was nice but unfortunately there was an 18th birthday party and the music was loud and awful. As it was good weather all doors and windows were open. This was not the pubs fault but pity the birthday girl was not 60!.

Decided to go out for dinner when visiting family that had few days stay at the Wild Duck camp site.....we drove to the kings head....after finding a parking place ( very busy) we entered a bustling busy pub....at first glance i thought mmmmm...cant do food here...its just ale...but found a menu and looked at the options...and i suppose because nobody else was eatting....alarm bell started to ring a bit....anyway 6 adults and 2 children made their choices.....after a long wait the food arrived......and all in all .....it was worth the wait....very impressively cooked food.....well done chef....and thankyou for the chocs

We phoned about dogs, no probs. So we went for a meal as we were on short break, very welcoming locals freindly, our meals were good honest food good portions, staff lovely. Try it for sunday lunch as well. Cheers guys 😁🐕😁🐕🍽🍾

Always worth a visit, good local pub with above average pub food, always improving the menu, I recommend the pork trio, or the fish and chips. Always a couple of ales on aswell as good gin menu and wines.

Spent a great evening in the function room for my dads 80th birthday, we really could not of wished for better, all the staff could not do enough for you, the buffet was amazon so fresh and tasty, the room was a nice size for the amount we had, Rob the resident DJ was spot on with the entertainment, would recommend the kings head for you functions, great around value, keep up the good work guys, and many thanks to all.

We were in the area for a half term break with the in-laws who offered to baby sit for the evening so we jumped at the chance to go out for a meal, after looking at trip advisor we chose to go to the Kings Head.

Went for lunch had fantastic mixed grill ! Cooked to perfection my mother had ham 2 x eggs chips perfect Good value and Quality rare combination these days See photos

Visited over the weekend with my mum, sister and nephew. We all had the lamb shank after reading good reviews and we weren't disappointed. The prices are fair and drinks reasonable. The pub itself isn't anything special but it had a nice enough atmosphere. I'd go here again for a moderately priced yummy meal.

Three of us visited late Sunday afternoon and were pleased they were still serving. The lamb kleftico was really good with a decent selection of vegetables. Dessert was also good. Nice place. I'll go again.
