The best restaurants in Fordham Villages East Cambridgeshire East of England

A lovely breakfast and slice of cheese cake very busy on a Saturday morning but they had quick service. The cafe was a little loud. And the price was a little on the expensive side for two breakfasts, drinks and a slice of cake. But what you get tastes lovely.

Friendly and relaxed with a fair amount of outside space for those warmer days 🙂 Beer well-kept.

Spotted the sign for this on A11, just off the A14, what a little gem of a place! Just 3 minutes off the A11,much nicer than a service station! Friendly staff Lovely coffee and cake, good range of breakfast lunch and light bites too. Very clean loos too

We pulled up Google maps to find a place near to where we were for a bite to eat and drink. For lunch I ordered the scallops absolutely amazed by that meal. Sensational, perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Service from everyone there was excellent. What a find it was. I only post when a place has amazed me like this place.

Friendly staff and delicious food!

Got our order wrong at the till, which we discovered when the wrong food arrived at our table. Staff were rude, condescending and unhelpful. Tried to lay the blame on us. Was not properly resolved. Will not be visiting again. Suggest you get the staff to read your order back to you to make sure they didn’t get it wrong. Before you hand over any money. If they do get it wrong, they will blame you.

The chequers fordham has become my go to place for a curry, much better than any curry house I’ve been too! Food quality and service has been second to none consistently. Last night’s visit was no different, amazing service from start to finish. Highly recommended.

We hadn't been to Linhs for a few months and wish we hadn't left it so long. Along with five other family members we all agreed we should definitely not leave it so long next time. The whole occassion, from entering to leaving was a true pleasure. Staff were so friendly and attentive and happy to explain any dishes we were unsure of. The quality of the food was exceptional as were the portion sizes. A most enjoyable meal at a very reasonable price with great service and not too long between courses.

We parked across the road, outside the church(popped into the church to explore for 15 minutes as the restaurant had not opened), opened on time at 5pm. Very friendly and engaging staff, excellent menu and we ordered takeaway although the restaurant itself looked inviting. The cuisine was so delicious. We had each ordered a main dish each and added extras to supplement and to share. Different Naan bread's also. My special biriani was so enjoyable and all dishes ordered were subtly spicy. Fantastic value for money, this was on a level par to what we are used to at our local Indian back home. Great meal whilst on vacation in Cambridgeshire.

Six of us just had lunch here and it was superb! We sat in a little side room by the garden door which was cozy and perfect for the hard of hearing amongst us! The service was warm and friendly, the waitress was knowledgeable and careful with the gluten free order for one of us. The food was outstanding! Sunday roast is so often a disappointment but not this time. The beef was perfectly cooked, the vegetables too. The roast potatoes were crisp and the Yorkshire pudding spot on. Starters were excellent and the puds all homemade …. My lemon posset was absolutely delicious! Well done The White Pheasant…we will be back!

Diabolical coffee - luke warm, weak and tasteless. Surly service too. Won't be going there for a coffee again and certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone else, either!

Caitlin was brilliant, great customer service and good coffee and millionaires shortbread. Will definitely visit again
