Indian Garden 2 in East Cambridgeshire

We parked across the road, outside the church(popped into the church to explore for 15 minutes as the restaurant had not opened), opened on time at 5pm. Very friendly and engaging staff, excellent menu and we ordered takeaway although the restaurant itself looked inviting. The cuisine was so delicious. We had each ordered a main dish each and added extras to supplement and to share. Different Naan bread's also. My special biriani was so enjoyable and all dishes ordered were subtly spicy. Fantastic value for money, this was on a level par to what we are used to at our local Indian back home. Great meal whilst on vacation in Cambridgeshire.

It is £2.50 for a can of coke but its only 95 p at asda ,the curry and rice was alright but i would never go there again

This was my go to take away place, the first few orders were fine, a little late with delivery. The best part is the food, it is delicious and cooked well, however the last couple of orders I feel very disappointed, one of our orders had a rivet that clearly fell off into our order and almost took my partners tooth out, we let it slide as I understand on busy nights it can get stressful, we received no sort of compensation though. I spent £68 on an order last night for a date night as I'm near the end of my pregnancy and wanted to treat ourselves and we were let down massively. The order came 40 minutes late as they completely missed the order, I had to ring them up, they hung up on me after saying they didn't receive my order and so I rang up again and they said they missed missed and would be another 20 minutes. When the order arrived we were missing rice and gave us raita when we ordered mango chutney. It really dampened the evening, especially after spending that much. They have lost a customer.

Went here 28th December for something of then Turkey. Great service and very friendly waiters. Definitely recommend Banquet night, 5 course meal for £14.90 each :) I highly recommend trying the Indian garden special 😋 First time visiting and certainly won’t be the last.

Me and my buddies gave this place a go last night and we can all say the food was fantastic. The service was great, all the staff are very polite, would highly recommend this if you enjoy Indian Cuisine.

Curry Stats: Points were lost on lack of beer on tap which is the only aspect of the experience which was lacking (although bottles went some way to remedy this). Our correspondents were taken aback by this concealed jewel in the village of Fordham.

We ate here recently on a Wednesday evening for their banquet. The food was delicious, presentation second to none and quantity ! well we waddled out with the leftovers. Highly recommended.

Shakiel and crew made us feel very welcome. Having their takeaway during lockdown, we went to sit in Wednesday for their Banquet night and it was exquisite! Friendly staff, gorgeous 5 course meal with the curries with alot of flavours! Very reasonably priced, we would of had wine, but we felt it was too expensive for our taste, but beer is good with us! Will recommend and will spread the word!

Fantastic meal and service from the staff, they were really helpful with the chefs specials & signature dishes. The food was delicious, definitely going to visit again soon!

Great food but no naan. Ordered a collection on a whim tonight. Simple order, very good service and had a drink while we waited. Unfortunately when we got home just now the garlic naan was missing! A real Shame as rest is lovely.

The best Indian around.. sooo happy you have opened, yet to dine in but have had takeaways on numerous occasions, collected and even delivered to Beck Row!!! The food has always been exquisite and the flavours are incredible, not to mention hot when it’s travelled.. highly recommend to anyone! 5 stars

We had many excellent takeaways from here and went along to dine in on banquet Wednesday. The food was superb, fresh and generous, if anything to generous but leftovers made a easy and tasty dinner the next day. Service is excellent and they have many lagers and beers to choose from and a good wine list also. The decor is also top end and far better than anywhere in the area, really would struggle to find better, even in Cambridge This is now our regular curry house

Lovely food, one of the best Indians in the area. Great quality curry and meat we will be going back soon.

They are taking booking and you can just walk in for a table good staff and good. Management so everyone give it a try you won't be disappointed

The food was ok, portion and price were fair. Unfortunately the service isn’t great when you pick up as the staff was a little rude. Always the place looks terrible, lots of work to be done before opening as a restaurant I think. They have some toilets next to where you collect food and they left a lot to be desired. Also we had some food missing and we called up but they weren’t very helpful. They said we could come back and get it which we wasn’t going to do as the rest would be cold and people were waiting to eat, We asked they refund the money for missing items but they said they couldn’t, and that we would sort for next time. Then they turned up at my house 3 hours later with the missing items.

The food is hit and miss. One week it’s good then the next it’s bad. Different chef changeover regularly. I witnessed a chef going to use the toilet, not wash hands then return to the kitchen to cook food. The customer service is appalling. They...
